Alexia wasn't quite sure how she got here, but boy was she glad that she did. There were dogs here, just hanging out! And according to the sign she had read on the fence, she was allowed to just hop the fence and hang out with them? This was awesome. Did Dylan know about this? Because, even though she didn't know him that well yet, she could see him enjoying a pen full of dogs. Actually, who wouldn't enjoy a pen full of dogs?

Yes, Alexia was very much a cat person, but she liked all furry animals. Even bunnies, despite the time her friends bunny had an accident on her shirt. It made cute faces while it ate, so it still won back her heart. Mostly. That was a really CUTE shirt the bunny ruined!

Before she hopped the fence, Alexia looked around quickly to make sure the coast was clear. Yes, the sign said she COULD, but what if that sign was a trap? Or like what if the sign expired and she was about to trespass on dog property? No one seemed to be around though, and dogs needed love too. They couldn't just sit there and do their own thing all day, they'd be bored to tears! It was her responsibility to play with these dogs!

She climbed the fence and entered the pen with the dogs, immediately going to greet the canines with pets. Not too long after she began petting the dogs, one of them rolled onto it's back and raised its stomach in the air. Alexia obliged with the appropriate belly rubs, soon finding herself surrounded by the other dogs asking for more pets. She knew she was going to be here a while petting these dogs, and that was okay. There was really nothing else she had to do today.

In the frenzy, the yellow haired dog had escaped the crowd and retrieved a rope toy from somewhere else in the daycare pen. He dropped it at her knees, looking for a playmate. Of COURSE Alexia couldn't say no. Who could say no to that little face?

Apparently not here, because she ended up playing about ten million rounds of fetch with all of the dogs. Her throwing arm was getting tired. At least the dogs were having fun.
