the events that had occurred during the school year had given Minjae a lesson. That his life was precious and that he was not ashamed to admit that he had missed his parents dearly. Even his little brother. His annoying, nagging little brother. Speaking of him, when the curse had been lifted, he had gotten seven overdue letters all of them saying the same thing. His brother could do magic as well and now Minjae couldn’t wait till tomorrow when he got back home and ask him all about it.

But first the feast. He knew that Hufflepuff was in last place again but frankly he did not care. He was happy enough to be going back home soon. The teenager took a seat on the bench somewhere in the middle and waited for anyone to talk to.

Orion really didn’t want to be here, but he slid onto the Hufflepuff table one last time. He didn’t even have any regrets leaving either. He was anxious to be out on his own again, to start his life, and perhaps become less of the dungeon creature that he was.

His hands tugged at his black hoodie, which had become ever present for him again. And he folded his hands inside the black material as he looked around.

Minjae got a nod, but that was all the boy was offering for right now. His heart was too heavy to do much socializing. He just wanted to eat and leave..

The ever constant pit in her stomach since magic and communication came back just seemed to be growing the closer and closer she got to getting to go home. She'd been spending as much time as possible with Lucy, and she had been searching for Lucas but... it was pretty obvious he didn't want to be bothered. She was trying to respect his need to process on his own, but it was hard when she was also suddenly feeling so disgustingly clingy and just wanted to be around the family that was currently available. Her friends too, she was trying to squash down all of her current emotions but she was feeling so much she doubted she was entirely successful.

Making her way into the Great Hall for the end of term feast, she headed directly towards the Hufflepuff table, spotting Orion and Minjae sitting there. She slid into a seat next to Minjae and smiled as normally as she could at both of the them, squashing down all of her emotion as best as she could. "Hi. It's good to fully see both of you." You know, and not through them or anything. "Excited to be going home?"

Minjae leaned forward and placed his elbow on the table, resting his chin in the palm of his hand while he waited for the other Hufflepuff's to arrive. He did not need to wait long until Orion arrived and he gave him a nod back. It seemed that he was not in the mood to talk. Understandable, but Minjae wanted to talk to someone to make the time go faster.

That was why a smile appeared on his face when Kimmie decided to sit down next to him. Her statement about being able to fully see them again got a small chuckle though. "Same" he said before looking over at the staff table. When was the Headmaster going to give his speech?

"I am" he said as he looked back at the Hufflepuff. "I actually received wonderful news about my little brother. So i can't wait to get home and ask him all about it" he smiled. "I'm guessing you're also ready to be back with your family? After this term i think most are..." he added while looking around the Great Hall.

Her eyes also flicked to the Staff Table to see if there was any sign of the speech happening yet. Most everyone was probably pretty impatient for the feast to get underway so they were that much closer to being able to go home. In fact, the Professor's maybe most of all considering most of them had families waiting for them back home. They had been just as much stuck as the rest of the students.

She turned her attention back to Minjae, tilting her head slightly when he mentioned good news. "Oh? What was it?" Unless too personal to ask. But she figured if that were the case Minjae would just tell her so. And then there was reference of home and how she must want to be with her family, which was really only half true. She liked to run away from her problems -- usually literally -- but this wasn't one she could. "I was lucky enough to have some family around. My younger brother and one of my older sister's are here so the term was a little more bearable." She also missed the disappearing and not knowing anything else going on outside. "You're probably right about most being ready to head home though. It was a ... Lonely term."
