 Further down the fifth-floor corridor awaits a statue of a rather large bald man with several chins. If you know your potions or history well enough, you will be able to identify this medieval wizard as the inventor of Gregory's Unctuous Unction. Though a fine wizard, he is credited for worming his way into King Richard's confidence and making a fortune by administrating his BFF-in-a-vial to the former Muggle ruler.
While Gregory the Smarmy's story may be interesting to some, you might find what he is hiding to be more your scene. Looking closely behind the large man, you just might see a slight opening of a secret passageway. Few, however, have access to the passage and know exactly where it leads because not very many people know how to get the bulky statue to move aside. Trying all of the random passwords you know will result in failure and wasted time. Perhaps you need to take a leaf out of Gregory's book and find a way to excessively flatter him. Good luck.

Morgan had HEARD things about a certain statue on the fifth floor. He wasn't sure if those things were completely true, but there was only one way to find out. Well, maybe more than one way, but researching in the library wasn't something that even crossed the boy's mind. If he wanted to find something out, then he'd go do it himself.
The thirteen year old stopped in front of the statue and stared at it. Merlin, this guy was ugly. But that probably wasn't his fault. Clearly it was just the artist's vision. That wasn't the important part though. He'd heard that this statue hid a secret passageway! And what was cooler than that?! But what he didn't know was how to access it.
Was there a password or did you just push it out of the way? First he tried this week's password for the Gryffindor common room and when that didn't work, he leaned his shoulder against the side of the thing and tried shoving.

Blake having just retired from the Great Hall and went for a walk came across the most unusual scene before him. Okay, that's a flat out lie, this is Hogwarts, a student trying to get into a passage way or around a statue was nothing strange at all.
The bloke in front of him looked familiar, at least Blake was sure he had seen him around the castle before, but he didn't know or couldn't remember if he had ever known the boy's name. "What are you trying to do?" Blake asked him, he wasn't 100% sure if there really was a secret passage way here or not.

He was certain he would have been able to talk his way out of that one though. But it was that one Slytherin kid from some of his classes, so he was in the clear.

Blake asked moving closer to get a good look. He knew there were several secret passage ways out of the castle, but he had never really tried to take any of them before, but what an adventure that would be. "Is there away behind it?" Blake was trying to look and see if there was away around it it. "We could try just saying words to see if there is password." Blake wasn't sure what kind of password a status would have, and who was responsible for changing it or maintaining it? "I'm Blake by the way, not sure if we've ever actually met." There he did it right, he introduced himself all proper.
