From a young age, it was clear that Simran would do well in the sciences. She asked questions incessantly, read books with an appetite to rival the sweet tooth she inherited from her Indian ancestors. Only Jaleebi and Gulab Jamun would succeed in breaking her obsessive acquisition of knowledge when something caught her fancy, something that thrilled both her parents to no end. Academics themselves, they made sure she had every available resource that could have helped her, enrolling her in a school for minds like hers.
She had turned eleven, however, when everything started to change. She had been accepted to Hogwarts. Suddenly, a great many things about her behaviour as a child made sense -- how things would go missing around her, how they would turn up a whole different colour, or how she somehow managed to fling herself off trees and never get injured. Hogwarts, her parents reasoned, would be good for her.
And so she went, but when her parents asked how her lessons were going, and if she was still the top of her science lessons, they were quickly horrified. All the subjects that she had been prepared for had suddenly been replaced with new, foreign subjects. Astronomy quickly became her favourite, although at first because it was the closest thing she had to her previous school subjects.
Despite this, she settled in quickly and adapted well to her new school environment. Even then, she craved the rigour of her previous school. It was decided eventually, between her parents and the then-headmaster of Hogwarts that she would learn the Muggle syllabi in lieu of electives beginning her third year, and graduate Hogwarts with both A-levels and NEWTs.
After Hogwarts, she enrolled at Oxford, in Exeter College. She had barely more free time than she’d had at Hogwarts, but it mattered little to her. She became a social butterfly, finally in her own element. She turned heads at every formal, and the room would quiet every time she piped up in a lesson. Her assertions were bold and she challenged the then-accepted norms at every available opportunity. Her career seemed to fall into her lap once she discovered the slowest-spinning pulsar, and before she even received her doctorate, found herself published in several journals.
She was out celebrating the successful completion of her thesis when she met him. Rishi was at a the same muggle bar she was, close to Diagon Alley, where he had been stationed for Auror work. She bumped into him (literally) on her way back from the washroom, and the rest, as they say, was history. When he had to return to Germany a year later, on the back of a successful long-term op, Rishi asked her to go with him. Always one for leaps of faith, she said yes.
She found a research position at the Max-Planck Institute in Bonn, where they had their first child. Rajbir was the light of their lives, and as they would realise after attempts to conceive a second, destined to be their only. Their time together as a family was cut sadly short right after Rajbir came of age. It was a tratior on the force, turning what should have been a simple in-and-out into what would become a massacre.
Simran was devastated, and couldn’t bear living in Germany any longer. She moved herself and her son back to England, to be closer to her parents. Simran and Rajbir quickly became heavily reliant on each other, and remained extremely close even after Rajbir married his Durmstrang darling, Rheena.
Two children later, Rajbir too died on Auror duty, and Rheena moved in with Simran. They still live together, and both compete on who can dote heavier on Amrita’s daughter, Jasmine.

Lucas was born on the 16th of December 2084 to proud parents, Sabel and Arya Dakest. He is the second child and the oldest boy and generally known as being the quiet one. Because of his job as an Auror and the number of undercover jobs he’d taken on, Sabel wasn’t around as much during Lucas’s childhood as he’d have liked. This, inevitably, took a toll on the young boy, who viewed Sabel as less of a father figure and more as a strange man. Whenever he’d come around, he’d shy away to his mother, whom he looked towards for comfort and protection.
After a certain point, Sabel ended up getting a regular job within the Ministry, and then within Hogwarts as a Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor. Soon afterwards, he ended up devoting more and more time to the family. While this meant that Lucas ended up seeing more and more of his father, and therefore becoming used to seeing him around, it didn’t mean that he was comfortable around the man - and he still isn’t.
When he started showing signs of magic, Lucas was enrolled into St Woboldo’s Primary School on Hexagon Alley. During his time at the school, he was a pretty diligent boy but he kept to himself most of the time. Friends weren’t something he had a lot of during primary school, nevermind close friends. This might’ve only helped to intensify any lack of social skills he’d had. When he wasn’t at school, he spent a large amount of time doing numerous activities in the outdoors, and especially spent time in the Kettleburn estate next door. The Dakest family frequently visit Grandfather Keith in Canada and the Lovegoods’ in Brazil, both events being ones that Lucas isn’t particularly thrilled about.
When Emma received her letter and went off to Hogwarts, Lucas was left in a state of confusion. While he was generally overjoyed by his older sister following in their parents’ footsteps, it meant that he spent the majority of the years on his own. These two years made him feel more alone than ever and it was probably because of this that he ended up becoming more closed off than usual. It was only in the summer of 2096 that he perked up again because of the arrival of his very own Hogwarts letter.
FIRST YEAR:

The start of a new school year, though exciting, proved to be a highly nerve-wracking experience for Lucas. He was excited to finally be at Hogwarts, to be in the one place he'd heard many, many stories about, but there was no denying the feeling of anticipation that flooded him from the moment he set foot in the castle. What if he wasn't sorted into a house? What if he didn't belong anywhere? What then?
But the Sorting Hat placed him in Gryffindor, with the hope that this would, ultimately, allow the young boy to break out of his shell. There was also a remark made about being more similar to his father than he'd care to admit but this was something Lucas chose to ignore. Instead, he was ecstatic about being in the same house as Emma, mostly because it meant that he'd still get to spend a lot of time with her. Maybe this year wouldn't be so bad, right?
Wrong.
Headmistress Regina Hawthorne was abdicated from her role and replaced by Headmaster Julian Scrimgeour. This didn't bother Lucas too much, especially seeing as this was only his the start of his first year, but the result of this hit him the following morning when he, along with everyone else, was woken up at the crack of dawn by an alarm and an announcement. Everyone was to go down to the Quidditch Pitch to take part in S.O.R.E. (Special Obligatory Running Exercises), where they were required to run five laps around the pitch. This didn't sit well with the first year, who wasn't much for exercise and wanted nothing more than to be in bed.
But the changes weren't going to end there. A set of new rules came about, ones that started off mild but grew to be worse and worse as the year went by. Unfortunately for him, Lucas found himself gaining recognition from almost every lesson he went to - and not the good kind, either. From being punished with pushups for saying hello to Prefect Abra (Felixir) - something the boy still stands by - to simply being punished for not offering an answer, the boy found his first year becoming not as fun as he'd expected it to be. To make matters worse, any letters home were censored, so telling his Mama about the goings on were out of the question, as were late night snacks and chats with Emma.
There were a few positives throughout the year, but they were few and far between and it was no wonder that Lucas was glad to reach the end of the year. He was even more glad to realise that the new students at Hogwarts - whom he'd hardly noticed much before because, well, everyone was new to him - were old, recently sacked professors in disguise. It felt a little weird to know that the old professors had been right under his nose and he didn't know - that they had probably even shared dorms with some students - but all of that was masked by his feeling of relief from the news that they'd brought with them. That for his second year, there was going to be no more Headmaster Scrimgeour and his ridiculous regime.
SECOND YEAR:

Lucas's second year started off with less of a fizzle and more of a bang. There were a number of changes made, especially in terms of staff, but that was dulled in comparison to what soon transpired amongst the students, all because of a goblet of pumpkin juice.
As the feast kicked off, the pumpkin juice at the house tables were spiked with love potion (by Zoryn Spinnet (ArianaBlack) and Cameron Tamesis (Lislchen)), one that made the drinker fall in love with the first person they set their eyes on. Lucas ended up becoming a victim of said love potion, allowing him to become more confident and slightly clingier than he would normally allow himself to be. But the worst part? The worst part was that his person of desire that evening was none other than one of his bestest friends, Józef Kowalski (Harron Peasley). No common sense was awake in his brain that evening, just that he needed to express his love for his friend as much as possible.

The following day - and weeks - proved to be a highly embarrassing experience. He was left with the knowledge that he'd acted a certain way and said certain things that he was sure he would never be able to live down. While Jó found it funny - and was still cool about it - Lucas wanted to hide forever, especially from the other Gryffindor, but that wasn't an option. And it was certainly not something he could keep up for the entirety of the year, even if he wanted to.
The year continued with a series of events that, compared to the previous year, were more light-hearted and less serious. After all, there were only fluffy little pink creatures roaming around the school and eating furniture. This wasn't going to be bad, right?
Wrong.
The series of events steadily grew to be worse and worse, with some of his classmates becoming furrier than they were. Some were his age and growing facial hair! Already! But this ended up becoming even worse when it turned out that Professor Dopple ended up becoming eaten alive by one of the mutants. That single piece of news struck something within the second year, and he found that he had gone from feeling meh to feeling straight up terrified. It was only halfway through the school year but he already wanted to be home for the holidays.
This feeling only deepened and grew worse, causing the boy to become more isolated than before. He also found that he was looking at Józef a little differently than he did before. All of these feelings intensified until, one day, he ended up bursting out during a single conversation. Accusations had been thrown around, whether intentional or not, but he didn't like the sound of them in the slightest. Maybe it was because of the situation - two tables had been eaten by one of the mutants while he was standing there - or because Ministry officials had burst in to capture the mutants. Either way, he was lucky to have scraped by this interaction with not so much as a detention.
Needless to say, Lucas was very happy to reach the end of the school year.
THIRD YEAR:

Unlike the previous two years, Lucas's third year kicked off with little to no drama, something the third year was incredibly happy about. In fact, apart from animals moving out of the forest, the majority of the beginning of the year was relatively calm and uneventful. But surely some animals moving away from the forest was nothing to worry about, right?
However, a personal storm arrived in the form of a love interest that stemmed and flowered throughout the year. As it turns out, his constant obsession with Józef Kowalski and how the potion had made him feel towards his dormmate was mostly because of his growing feelings for said dormmate and had little to do with any guilt or embarrassment he might've been feeling. Needless to say, this realisation hit him like a ton of bricks, especially when he started exhibiting various signs of romantic attraction towards him.
And the alone times with Jó didn't help in the slightest.
But sharing his feelings? Disclosing these pieces of information to his dormmate? Both sounded impossible and so, Lucas ended up talking to someone he was comfortable enough to talk to about something like this: Emma. Alone time with his older sister helped him make sense of his feelings more than anything else could have. And despite the fact that she wasn't attracted to boys, her sense and reasoning made him realise that he was.
Meanwhile, there were bigger problems on the horizon, namely for Hogwarts itself. The number of animals moving away from the forest grew, now bringing with them words of warning. The temperatures around the castle dropped, bringing with it a mist that seemed a little unusual, even for the Scottish highlands. It wasn't long before the mist moved, and engulfed the surrounding grounds around the castle.
Uh oh, indeed.
To add salt to the wound, two students (Kamryn and Teddy) were proclaimed to be missing, which only heightened the feeling of anxiousness within the castle and within the Gryffindor himself. In fact, it was news of Teddy's disappearance that hit him the most, especially seeing as he was quite close to the boy himself. While he doesn't know what happened to the Ravenclaw, he still doesn't have a good feeling about the situation at all.
Paranoia and cabin fever sunk in, just as quickly as the mist sunk into the castle itself. The bottom floors were engulfed by the mist, leaving Slytherins and Hufflepuffs without a dorm and the school without access to the Great Hall and classes on the lower floors. While the Hufflepuffs were bunking with the Ravenclaws, the Slytherins bunked with the Gryffindors, much to Lucas's displeasure. The common room was even more crowded and boisterous than he would've liked, making him feel oddly claustrophobic. It was probably because of this that he spent as much time away from the common room as possible.
However, changes were quickly occurring as the mist looked like it wasn't going to stop anytime soon. Not even a DERP intervention could do the trick. Headmaster Trent soon called for an emergency evacuation to the Three Broomsticks, where they were to lodge and continue their studies until the end of the term. Again, Lucas wasn't entirely happy with this situation given the change of scenery, and what looked like a relatively okay start of term was quickly becoming a terrible end.
Needless to say, he was, once again, happy to be going home.
FOURTH YEAR:

Before his fourth year even started, Lucas received news that was a sure sign that the year was going to be far from ordinary. News reached the Gryffindor that the following year was going to be spent at Beauxbatons, causing him to become even more unhappy than he had been before. A mist wasn't the best situation to be stuck in, but to go to school in a completely new environment for the duration of a year? If anything, he was far from comfortable with this.
The second of September was when they arrived at the Beauxbatons castle, and it was then that he gathered a feeling for what the school was going to be like. Fancy, elegant, and pristine were all words he often used to describe the grandeur of the castle. While they're not necessarily terrible, these aspects only made Lucas feel more like a stranger at the castle than he already did, deepening any sense of uncomfortableness he was feeling.
Classes continued as normal - or as close to normal as they could, given the circumstances. But drama soon had its way of rearing its head, and this magical year was no different. A situation broke out in a Care of Magical Creatures lesson, during which some of Desmarais' precious roses were suddenly ruined. However, there were stranger occurrences springing up in other locations. The kitchens caught aflame, the Ombrelune Common Room decor was altered, and, worst of all, the Observatory was tattered. Lucas was truly heartbroken at seeing possibly his favourite space torn asunder.
However, things turned from bad to worse when the decorations for the upcoming Valentine's Day Ball was suddenly destroyed. While Lucas didn't particularly care about a ball, he found that he couldn't ignore the situation entirely, not when he received a letter stating that there was solid evidence incriminating him of a serious crime. Needless to say, this news was enough to cause the Gryffindor to instantly start panicking, regardless of whether the accusations had any basis to them or not.
The resulting disciplinary meeting was chaotic, to say the least. The students from Beauxbatons gave statements against the Hogwarts students who were accused of various crimes, with Lucas being accused of destroying the Observatory. The fourth year was particularly upset that he'd been falsely accused of doing such a thing, especially given the nature of the room and how much he loved Astronomy. It seemed barbaric, almost nonsensical.
But with the accusations came an upheaval, with Desmarais eventually deciding that she had had enough and the Hogwarts students should be kicked out. Luckily for the Hogwarts students and staff, Professor de Nostredame came into clutch with the truth behind what's been occurring. As it turns out, the disasters had been caused by a creature who went on to start a fire in the rose garden that Desmarais is so fond of.
Uh oh.
The creature responsible for the disasters turned out to be a dragon that the Beauxbatons students had smuggled into the castle. Once the fire had been dissolved and the creature had been contained, Desmarais had a change of heart in regards to the Hogwarts guests. With the guests being allowed to stay, a ball was still held for the students to enjoy, something that Lucas was severely unhappy about. It was a crowded, overly claustrophobic environment but if anything, a silver lining arrived with the news that they would, in fact, be returning to Hogwarts in the next school year.

While Emma exhibits all the exuberance of Gryffindor House, Lucas is the complete opposite. Shy and quiet are often words used to describe this particular Dakest child. Emma has always been his best friend, the person on this Earth he’s the most closest to, and as a result, he’s become very comfortable around her. Growing up, he’s produced a comfort zone that he hardly ever toes out of and one that he relies on rather heavily.
However, all of this combined means that Lucas has become isolated and someone who prefers his own company. With a lack of social skills having developed during his younger years, he’s ended up being the kind of boy who hardly starts up a conversation and would never approach strangers. Why would he? His comfort zone wouldn’t allow it. He’s also become the kind of person who doesn’t immediately trust those around them and as a result, it would take him a significant amount of time to become comfortable around someone else. It might be because of this that he doesn’t trust his father, Sabel, as much he does the other members of his family.
There have also been times when Lucas has become fairly temperamental. His mood is known to switch and he exhibits unexpected bursts of anger, something that’s known to take people by surprise. The boy, unknowingly, displays more personality traits that are similar to his father rather than his mother which is something he would deny at all costs if he knew.

Background
The background is that their father Calvin about 14 years ago worked for the french ministries creatures department during an exchange programme. He had dealings with the veela colony near Paris and it was then he met Seline Velour of part veela desent. They fell instantly in love much to the dislike of Seline’s parents and siblings. Like many young lovers they eloped together to England. They got married and settled in villa on the outskirts of Liverpool’s magical community. Along Cole came a year later to the young couple’s happiness and the little family lived happily for 3 years and then Isobel came along and everything was perfect.
Like all perfect things though it didn’t last super sadly and just a month after Isobel’s birth Seline dissappeared in the middle of the night, taking all her things and leaving no letter or reasons for why to anyone. Distraught, angry and sad and quite a many other emotions he couldn’t really put into words right then Calvin was left to care for two babies still that missed their mother and needed fostering. The little family hunkered on with the help of Calvin’s parents, sister and friends and the ministry’s daycare facilities. A letter had arrived year later stating that Seline had diead from an illness, but Calvin didn’t know if he should trust the information or not. He kept it to himself until the children got older and then he told them.

Cecelia was born on the 21st of July in 2088 to Alec and Ella Summers, Hogwarts sweethearts and former Hufflepuffs who fell in love during their time at the wizarding school. From the time she could crawl, the blonde was exploring her enviornment with wide-eyed wonder and little to no fear. If there was any indication this little lady was going to be a handful, this was the early indicator. She would dress up the family dogs and play zoo where she was the creature and they were the visitors, or ride her tiny enchanted broom around the house, knocking into furniture and filling the house with her girlish giggles, a sound that both delighted and warned of possible destruction. What Cecelia liked most, though, was getting to spend quality time with her dad. The quidditch star might have many fans, but none of them were as dedicated and enthusiastic as Cece. There is nothing she'd like more than to follow in her dad's footsteps. Her mum is pretty cool too, working with dragons and all! Cecelia liked to sit by her mum and ask questions about the baby dragons her mum got to work with, offering up possible names for them and doodling pictures to go along with them. She was more of a unicorn fan herself, but Cece decided that dragons and her mum belonged together and that they were pretty awesome. Fire and flying? How could they not be?
On the 3rd of January 2091, Cecelia learned to share the attention of her parents with Samuel, the little brother she never knew she wanted. He was cute right from the start, but she didn't see his potential until he was old enough to walk. From that moment on, Sammy became her responsibility and her partner in crime, though he might not have known it. Cecelia found that she really liked being a big sister and her duties included teaching him the fine art of fort building in their living room, making the ultimate ice cream sundae, and acting out their favorite stories complete with costumes and everything. It was really nice to have someone to have adventures with, and over time Cecelia decided she'd do anything to protect Sammy and keep him happy because that was her job.

Anna grew up in a rather noisy household, with frequent visits to her mother’s side of the family, who are all mostly equality noisy. The Meriwether siblings have never been in touch with anyone from their father’s side of the family and have always been left in the dark about the reason why.
At her mother’s wish, Anna attended St Woboldo’s Primary School along with her brothers in order to learn to control her magic as early as possible since they have always lived in a Muggle village for their father’s sake.

Klaus grew up in Germany with his German Pure-blood father and Russian Half-blood mother. His parents weren’t the most loving of parents. They were always busy doing other things. He was practically raised by a horde of maids. (None of them stuck around ling.) Klaus was a very temperamental child which caused a few dozen mishaps with magic gone array. A toddler couldn’t control lighting a maids hair on fire, or could he?
He used to try and seek approval from his parents when he was still a kid but quickly realized his parents didn’t care about what he did. He spent most of his time alone in the woods. That’s how he found Sezia, his wolf mix. When he found her she was barely alive after being attacked by a hawk or owl of some sort. Her eyes weren’t even fully opened. Klaus has almost left her there to die. He had no use for something so weak. As he walked away though something made him turn back and pick her up. Klaus did so much research in how to heal her, looking through all the books in his house. He even ended up sneaking off with one of the servants wands to heal her that way. Eventually she recovered and started to get stronger.
Sezia ended up following Klaus around everywhere he went. She was allowed to come to Durmstrang with him. Klaus had been excited to attend this school. A real chance for him to learn powerful spells and challenge himself. He was tired of being smarter than the people in his home. His parents didn’t even bother seeing him off when he went to Durmstrang. That didn’t bother him. He was used to being disappointed by them.
His first year at Durmstrang he was placed in Soscrofa. A good fit for him. The reputation of Durmstrang held true to his delight. It was a very prestigious wizarding school that would help him develop his skills. His first two years went without any major hiccups. He got into the occasional fight every now and then but nothing major. During breaks he’d spend time at home testing his new talents. He could be quite smart and attentive when the subjects interested him.
His third year was his first time being in actual trouble. Usually the Headmaster brushed aside his antics because of his grades but this time he was at risk of being kicked out. A 7th year had tried to pick a fight with him in-between lessons and being the ever loyal dog she is Sezia stepped in. She got the older student pretty good. The kid didn’t die so Klaus didn’t see what the issue was. He hadn’t started the fight. He got a week of detention and Sezia was banned from being inside the castle.
Trouble seemed to follow him from then on. After his third year his family moved from their home in Germany to the middle of nowhere in Russia. He hated it. It was too cold. And for whatever reason his parents refused to let him outside, unless absolutely necessary. He didn’t understand why they all of a sudden cared about what he was doing. Most of that summer was spent in his room, reading advanced textbooks.
Back at Durmstrang for his fourth year he got into a series of fights again. This time all instigated by him. Maybe his summer coped up had ruffled his fathers too much. He stopped caring about going to every class. Only certain ones were worthwhile. More detentions and threats of being kicked out. He went home for winter break, everything was the same. He wasn’t allowed to leave the house. The usual. The day he went back to Durmstrang would be the last day he saw his parents. A few days after the holiday was over he receive an owl from some man he had never met or knew of saying his parents were dead and this man was now his legal guardian.
He wasn’t necessarily sad his parents were gone. They weren’t a loving family that talked to each other. They were cold and distant. This man who was know his guardian was Charles Clifton. A business partner of his fathers. Not really knowing how to cope, Klaus spiraled after that. He didn’t miss his parents but the confusion of why someone killed them. Sure, they weren’t pleasant people but was that motivation enough to murder them?
One day at Durmstrang a particularly annoying first-year was trying to talk to him. He didn’t start this fight. He would stand on that platform until he died. All he simply did was utter the words ‘Attack’ to Sezia and she did. He didn’t touch the boy. The Headmaster expelled him right then and there. Klaus wasn’t surprised by the sentence. He packed his things and left. He left his stuff at his new home in England before going to Russia to learn what happened to his parents. But that’s a story he doesn’t wish to divulge.
His new guardian urged him to go back to school. But he hadn’t even finished his fourth year and he sure wasn’t going to repeat it. He sent an owl the Headmaster of Durmstrang and requested he be allowed to finish his fourth year from home. His wish was granted and he passed. Barely. But he did it. Then he somehow got enrolled in Hogwarts and got sorted into Gryffindor, much to his confusion. He surely didn’t view himself as a Gryffindor but oh well.

History
Bernadette did not know a n y t h i n g about the wizarding world until her mum handed her a letter from the post. It took all of the Granthams quite a while to believe this wasn't a prank, and took Hogwarts approximately six letters of owl post before the Granthams confirmed Bernadette's attendance.
Some of her family are still doubtful that "Hogwarts, the Boarding School" exists, although her mum did help her navigate Diagon Alley and buy all her school supplies. Bernie is anxious to fit in with the wizard kids, and has many, many preconceived and incorrect notions of what magic is like. She is too headstrong to admit when she is wrong, and embarrasses easily when someone points out her faults. However, she is enthusiastic when trying something new, friendly when around other kids, and courageous when threatened with an obstacle.
Year One (2099-2100): Her favorite classes included Transfiguration, Charms, and DADA, with her least favorites being Muggle Studies why does she need this class?, and surprisingly, Care of Magical Creatures. She was nearly a hatstall (Hufflepuff was the Sorting Hat's other choice for her) and attempted to learn some French, for her first year took place at Beauxbatons (due to the boggart invasion of Hogwarts). Also in her first year, Headmaster Trent suspended Bernie from school instead of expelling her per Desmarais' demands and sent her home due to her participation she raised her wand at the Headmistress in a fire/gargoyle attack in the Rose Garden during Care of Magical Creatures class. Bernie's wand was also attacked/broken by a Gargoyle then, though it was later repaired by Headmaster Trent. After a lecture from her parents and a very, very long and magic-less Christmas break, Bernie returned to school slightly more subdued. She behaved in MOST of her lessons, but was then accused (along with approx. 50 other people) of RUINING the decorations for the forthcoming school ball. Bernie was forced to attend a trial wherein Headmistress Desmarais expelled every Hogwartian from Beauxbatons, but then hastily invited them back so they could help her find the dragon that the French pupils had snuck into school. After this fiasco, the dragon!baby was caught, the second fire in the rose garden was extinguished, and Hogwarts was allowed to stay and have a ball in lieu of a feast.
Other highlights from her first year: attempting to rob the snack corner on the train, baking magic cookies with Freyr, mapping Beauxbatons, helping Headmaster Trent not become lost, officially becoming Schmoe's assistant professor, helping Ilya Belrose discover that he was a metamorphmagus, apple exploding, dancing lessons, and other lesson shenanigans with Blake Ryan and Claudine Blaze, meeting a house elf in Charms, losing points in Potions, being accused of ruining the ball with everyone else, firefighting and dragon-watching with Cece Summers and Phoebe James, and dancing at the feast with Rowan and Blake. Oui.
Year Two (2010-2101): Bernie met Elias on the train and was persuaded to ride the first-year boats across the lake to Hogwarts, since she didn't get to do that last year and all.

History
SPOILER!!: Early years
Cordelia Winklebleck was born into the failing marriage of muggles Lillian Winklebleck and Robert Winklebleck. When she was only 2, Robert left and was never heard from again. Lillian did not cope well with raising a child alone. Cordelia was taken into the foster care system when she was 3 due to Lillian not being able to properly care for Cordelia. Strange things often happened to Cordelia which she would later find out was magic, like toys floating and people she didn’t like getting hurt under mysterious circumstances. It was hard for her to connect to other people and make close friends. For a a few years Cordelia moved around from foster family to foster family, but none of the placements worked out for very long. When Cordelia was 6 years old and under the care of foster parents Stanley and Maria Crunch, she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The Crunch family was also caring for 2 other foster children at the time and felt that Cordelia would be better off placed somewhere with people who could devote more attention to her and would be better able to care for her. Finding a new foster family for a child with type 1 diabetes who also had the occasional unexplainable weird happenings of accidental underage magic, however, proved to be difficult. Cordelia’s magical talents were noticed by a wizard case worker who helped her get a spot in a wizarding children’s home, Stemp House. Cordelia moved in to Stemp House in June of 2093 when she was 7 years old.
