L'infirmerie The infirmary at Beauxbatons is particularly well equipped and takes up a small wing of its own on the third floor. When you first enter you will find yourself in the waiting room where padded chairs line the walls and there are various useful brochures about magical ailments that teenagers are likely to find themselves experiencing- students are encouraged to help themselves to this informative reading material. If you are a patient you need to sign in (or someone should sign in for you if you are unable to do so), so make use of the magical clipboard and quill which are on the wall. |
Post feast vomiting.... Cole sat on the bed waiting for Healer Beryl to come over. He had missed most of the feast after vomiting out his insides all over the table. He was ashamed for splattering vomit on Chloe and he assumed that he was now the talk of the school and halls. It wasn't how he had envisioned his first feast at his mother's old school. Not at all. Cole didn't even want to think about what his father was going to write back when he heard the news of this. Still feeling unwell, shaky and nauseous Cole pulled the blanket up closer around his shoulders and hoped he'd be able to sleep later...He had missed the french headmistress speech and he didn't know where his belongings we're or anything. When we're classes held in a french school? |
Austin was glad when he got to the infirmary away from the rest of the students. He had missed most of the feast but rhat was okay. He was exhausted from that panick attack anyway. When's the last time he had one? A half year ago. Okay. He sat on the edge of the bed and waited for the healer. Although, he was starting to nod off, he forced hinself to stay awake. |
I'm sorry I slacked on you guys we can continue or not, up to you. Quote:

"There we are, Cole. That's it. Take these please. And then drink some water. A whole glass." She had a pitcher and a glass on his side table. He could settle in for the night now. "Then get some rest, and we'll see how you feel in the morning and get a good breakfast into you." As for Austin, she brought him a calming potion, though he did seem far more relaxed now than what he had. Perhaps just the time away from the crowd would do it. Still, just to be sure, "One sip of this now please, Austin. It will help you relax. You can take the remainder of the bottle when you leave, and when you feel yourself getting panicked, take a sip and it should help take the edge off for you. You may stay here tonight of course, and when you feel more yourself in the morning, you can rejoin your classmates. You two boys can keep one another company." And she had to see to the Beauxbatons professor, and then the pair of them could hopefully have their dinner. Phew. What a start to the term. ____________________ ooc: duck timeline! Having lead the afflicted folk up to the infirmary, Carmine let them in and instructed them all to take a seat. The waiting room was fine enough for this for now. "I'll be just a moment, please sit, everyone." Carmine busily swished into the hospital wing proper, and returned a few moments later with a cart in front of her, several potion bottles upon it, each containing a light purple liquid. "Alright. Everyone take one, drink the entire contents please. Its a simple untransfiguration potion, it should take care of the feathers." It would remain to be seen if it was enough for the... er... quacking. |
quack Dropping himself into one of the chairs in the waiting room, Kaiser prodded his face and neck experimentally. He could see the feathers on his hands clear as day, and though his arms and legs were completely covered, he could tell there were feathers underneath just from the general sensation. But it was easy to forget that his face was covered until he reached up and touched them. Weird. Merlin, he didn't like this. It wasn't a fun experience, and also? He had a curious urge to try and pluck the feathers off himself. Which... was exactly what he did, starting with a few on his left hand. Kaiser grabbed a few in his fist, gave a great yank and- "QUACK!" OUcH. By then, Healer Beryl had reappeared, along with what was hopefully the cure to this situation. Kaiser didn't need telling twice; he moved forward to grab one of the bottles - which almost slipped out of his feathery-fingered grip - opened it up, and raised it to his lips. And then paused. What if the untransfiguration had been spiked too? That seemed like an appropriately dastardly second stage to this prank; just when everyone thought it was over, get them again! And what would it be next time? Goats? Frogs? Platypuses? Kaiser sniffed at the potion - though he was far from having the skill to detect anything out of the ordinary - and stalled for a moment, wanting to wait to see if anyone else would drink first, and what would happen to them. |
For tegz Austin nodded to the healer and took a sip of the stuff. He sighed as his body was feeling a bit more relaxed. He nodded at the healer and put rhe bottle on a table. Austin laid down in bed and closed his eyes. Before he knew it, he was out like a light. |
