Le Pré de Cerf-Volant Inspired by his affection for a certain festival in Berck-sur-Mer on the Opal Coast, Mathys de Nostredame has set aside a a spacious field with an enchanted barrier all for the simple pleasure of kite flying. Rows upon rows of kites are attached to the ground by unbreakable silver strings, varying in size and shape from the humble and aesthetically appealing quadrilateral known worldwide, to the more dramatic and robust life-sized beasts of every variety. Some are charmed to leave a trail of sparkle wherever their tails paint the sky, others will roar it in favor of flames, while others may change color with each turn and some whistle pleasantly, there is no end to the delights attached to each kite. Along with the assurance that no kite will fly off, the area has also been enchanted with the most divine of weather modification charms and maintains the most luxurious of spring breezes year round to ensure a successful flight. Everything here is open to student use and encouraged, but be warned. Destroy one of his kites and it is a guarantee that that will not be the only thing destroyed on the day. |
