Dance Studio Care for some ballet? Or perhaps salsa? Jazz? Tap? Ballroom? Hip-hop? Whatever your particular dance poison may be this is the perfect space for you to get your groove on. On Wednesdays and Sundays the studio is even set aside specifically for Pilates and yoga (though the grounds are also a lovely place to do such things during the warmer months). The walls are mirrored and there are barres along one side of the room. A music player sits on a desk in the corner and it magically projects itself through the studio. Soft curtains on the floor to ceiling windows billow gently in time with whatever music happens to be playing. |
Lissy / Nettie <3 Missa had realised weekends were about reluctant exploring - not out of curiosity but out of a need to getaway from strangers. A corner she could have a moment alone with her thoughts, a corner she could study in, a corner she that would allow her anxiety to stay away. She was in search of just that when she stumbled upon the dance studio. And a what a find it was. Dropping her bag by the door, the fifteen year old walked into the room - completely taken aback. It was a treat for the eyes, no doubt. Smiling to herself, the Ravenclaw twirled on spot and watched herself do so on the mirrors around. Now all she needed was some music. |

Still, she wanted to at least SEE it, if only to say that she saw the entire castle. She found the room occupied, however, and watched with a smile as Missa twirled in the middle of the room. She chuckled and approached her dorm mate. "There's no music," she pointed out. So helpful. |
Beezley heard there was a dancing room and wanted to see. She thought she could make the floor so shiny the students could see themselves as they danced, but as she made her way into the room she noticed students still there. "Beezley was going to clean, Beezley will come back later." |
Missa wouldn't have minded being alone - but company was nice, especially when it wasn't other French kids and actually one of her own. She smiled at the Ravenclaw prefect before looking around, "I think that's what we are looking for" she mused, before walking over to the music player on the desk. "What do you feel like dancing to?" she asked, before turning her head to the next interruption. Well, of course. "You can stay too if you like and dance with us, Beezley" she offered, while still tinkering with the music player. |
"Beezley dance with the students?" She looked at both girls before dropping her dust cloth and pulling at her ears. "Beezley would love to learn to dance if misses would want Beezley to stay and learn." |

"Anything! Whatever you want!" she told her with a smile as Beezley joined them, and Missa graciously offered to let the elf dance with them. Nettie's heart practically melted at how Beezley seemed excited to dance - an offer she probably never got. "Of course Beezley! It'll be fun! Come here," she offered, waving the elf to come join them by the music. |
Beezley watched for a moment, but the excitement got the best of her and she hurried closer to the students. "Beezley will try her best, but Beezley has never danced before. Do you think Beezley can do it?" She looked down at her feet and thought she might trip over them. |
