Ravenclaw Table https://s26.postimg.cc/q4wevjy55/rav...ble-banner.jpg For those who belong in Ravenclaw House, in the middle of the Three Broomsticks is where your table awaits. Blue banners containing an embroidered bronze eagle float above the polished table in honour of the wise Rowena Ravenclaw. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages. |
Although having an end of term feast at the Three Broomsticks wasn't the same as having it in the Great Hall, Dorian guessed that it was better than nothing. He found a seat in the middle of the Ravenclaw table and sat down. Ammonite, his purple toad was resting on top of his head as usual, asleep. Would Hogwarts open back up again after this year? He didn't want to think of graduating next year in the Three Broomsticks and he felt sorry for the seventh years who had to do so now. He let out a sigh and placed his elbow on the wooden table and rested his chin in his hand while with the other he picked up a fork and began spinning it between his fingers, occasionally dropping it on the table before picking it up to spin it again. He was ready to go home now, no need for a feast. |
This year had certainly been an interesting start to Analiese's time at Hogwarts. She sat down at the table and gave a polite nod to the older boy (Dorian) who was already sitting there. She stared down at the silverware placed in front of her. Then a sudden thought struck her. Would Hogwarts open up again next year? Or would they have to do their lessons in Hogsmeade? She would probably end up in Beauxbatons if it was the latter. |
Trinetta had been certain that this mist thing would have been taken care of by the time the End of Term feast came around - things were ALWAYS resolved before they got to the feast. Yet here she was, in an overcrowded Three Broomsticks, preparing to leave for the term with absolutely no answers as to what had happened. What was the mist? When would it leave? Why did it make them so...terrified of things? Where were the missing students? It was an extremely unsatisfying ending to everything, and she couldn't wait to just get home and spend a few weeks in France this summer with her family. Sitting down at the table designated for Ravenclaws, she gave the two who were already there - Dorian and Analiese - a small smile before sitting down, uncharacteristically quiet. |
Here they were, and even though it was finally, and thankfully, the end of term - Missa still had doubts about making it home. The general sense of uncertainty in the air wasn't helping her mood either. But she was here - passing a few small smiles here and there, she found herself a seat next to Nettie at the Ravenclaw table, which by the way didn't feel like the Ravenclaw table at all, despite the attempt. Shoulder slacking, she placed her arms on the table and rested her chin on her hand - unable to stop her small smile from disappearing altogether as she waited - for food, for the headmaster to speak, for things to feel better. |
It was the end of what was Hanna's most stressful year. OWLs, the deadly mist, looking out for her sister, and trying her hardest to fulfil the prefect role she had. It had just been stressful, and she was looking forward to going home where, hopefully, there was no mist. Waiting for her OWL results, and dancing her heart out. It hadn't been awful staying in Hogsmeade, though. Rocking up in her robes, Hanna headed for the Ravenclaw table and slid into a seat. "Hello everyone," she said. Her stomach rumbled, and she took a sip from her goblet. |
She thought that the end of term feast would be cancelled altogether, since they no longer had a Great Hall or things to celebrate. Ravenclaw did win the House Cup (again!), but they also lost a student. For the first time in her two years at Hogwarts, she desperately wanted to go home, away from all this misery. Thank goodness Hogsmeade was not affected by the mist and they could all take the train back home the next day... hopefully. "Hey guys," Jade said to her housemates as she sat down at the table. No one was talking much - it seemed like everyone felt the same about just wanting the term to be over. Dorian's fork-spinning-and-dropping only bothered her slightly as the second year sank into thought about the summer and the following term. |
Drewett had always thought that he would end his OWLs year with a grand feast and a good time, but he really hadn't been having a good time especially starting the second half of the term. The mist had been one out of two reasons why he had so much difficulty with the crowd in the Ravenclaw tower and the lack of natural sunshine. It was hard coping with the changes and he even feared he wouldn't be well enough to survive the term...but here he was. The fifth year made his way to his 'house table', and offered nods and little smiles as he passed by the other present Ravenclaws, before settling on a seat across Nettie and Missa. "Hi," Drewett looked tired at first glance. It didn't feel like an end-of-term feast to him. He had no idea if they ever found the two missing students. The vibe he was getting right now was somber, and it quickly affected him the moment he joined the rest of the Hogwarts population in the middle of the pub. He had also just finished his OWLs. Difficult as they were content-wise and with everything about this term in consideration, especially with not having Evan around since the evacuation, Drewett felt confident that he'd done his best. He'd studied so much, he knew that himself. He was honestly looking forward to heading back home at this point, even if he'd been keeping his parents updated through his two-way mirror. Home was still so close yet so far. |
Avalon wouldn't have believed someone if he or she had told her that she would be spending her first end-of-term feast in the Three Broomsticks. She yearned for the tall ceilings of the Great Hall, but she supposed that she should be grateful that she was safe. Still, her head was swimming with questions. The first year couldn't help but admit that she was looking forward to heading home for the summer. The end of this year had been terrifying, to say the least. "Hi everyone," she said, exasperated, as she plopped down into a seat next to her friend Analiese. She was momentarily inclined to give everyone a smile and wave, but nobody seemed to be quite in the mood. So, she opted for a nod of understanding. "Anyone have any exciting plans this summer?" Maybe talking about the holidays could take their minds off of things for a while. At least until the food was ready. |
She was late, had she missed the speech? Maybe, but she didn't care. She was ready to be done, she was ready to be fully over all of this. She couldn't believe there was no word yet on the missing students. Why wasn't anyone giving updates, they had to be looking for them, right? They wouldn't just forget about them. She had hated leaving without them, but it was only made worse by the fact that they hadn't been found and if they had no one had said anything. Quietly she found a seat at the end of the table and kept her head down. She wasn't in the mood to talk or eat, but she felt she had to be at the end of the year feast. She longed for any good news, but after talking with Jolie was starting to come to terms with the bad. She had to give up hope, she just didn't want to. |
The moment Drew joined them, Missa felt an unfamiliar kind of guilt within her - because everything that had happened on the third floor was obviously still very vivid in her head. Unable to not not meet his eyes, the fourteen year old offered him an awkward smile in return. But before she could offer an apology, the headmaster had started speaking. She felt both relieved and anxious. She wasn't sure what she had been expecting, but it certainly wasn't that. Or maybe she was simply a fool for expecting something more ... hopeful. Stomach a bit in turns, she turned to look at Nettie and Drew again, "he didn't say anything about the missing kids at all" |
