Jackson approached what had at what point been Classroom 104, but today at least... Jackson gave the room a quick glance and smiled. He had kind of forgotten it was a practical day, and he was all for it. He could use a break from sitting in a chair for the next period. As he approached the door, the professor was ready to greet as always. "Good morning, Headmaster. I hope you had a good summer." Jackson went in and noticed the lack of seating. Jackson decided to stand a bit towards the side for now, preparing for the inevitable semi-circle they would make around the Headmaster once 11:00 hit.

Daisy enjoyed practical DADA lessons as it was a chance for her to improve her skills. She entered classroom 104 and was taken aback at the layout of the room. She was reminded of some kind of mental asylum and it unnerved her. "Good morning, Headmaster," Daisy greeted with a smile and a nod, before standing next to Jackson.

Analiese walked into Classroom 104. The whole room was covered in cushions. OK then. "Good morning, professor." She stood quite close to the other two students and gave a little yawn. She woke up early this morning for no reason, whatsoever. The 11-year-old guessed it was a practical lesson and checked whether her ebony wand was safely in her pocket.

Rylee entered room 104 with her usual smile, her bag slung over her shoulder. She knew when it came to being told they were having a practical lesson that it could mean anything. So really the whole completely padded room didn't spark to much interesting within here. Okay, maybe it did. This was DADA after all. This was one of the lessons that was mostly hands on and she loved it.

"Good morning, Headmaster." She greeted the man with a warm smile. Moving more into the room, Rylee found a spot to stand and wait for the lesson to begin, bouncing lightly on the balls of her feet.

Eniola walked through the classroom of one of her least favourite classes. Defense. Ugh. She knew it was useful, but it's truly just not in the plans for what she wants to do with her life. She wants to heal people. Not harm them. DADA most times has shown spells that people are using in duels to harm the other. Horrible.

Nevertheless she made her way forward, "Good morning Headmaster.", and stood by herself against the newly renovated and padded walls. Great, looks like some people may go flying today. She thought.

Kaiser was here. He was here. His head was in a spin and he was still adjusting to the sudden structure of being back at school and everything, but he was definitely here. Not that he was likely to willingly skip Defence Against the Dark Arts, aka the one subject he knew he was decent at.

Stepping into the classroom, Kaiser only needed to look around very briefly for the headmaster, as he found him very close to the door. "Morning," he said, the generic greeting almost automatic by now. Apparently unfazed by the appearance of the classroom, Kaiser sloped off to find a space near the wall that he could stand in, slipping his wand out of his pocket as he went. He was on his guard. Never really off his guard, to be honest. Maybe that was why he got on so well with this class.

Eleven in the morning really wasn't a bad time. It wasn't first thing in the morning, and she was still fuelled up from breakfast as she headed to DaDa. "Hello Headmaster," she greeted with an ever-present smile as she entered the room. It wasn't a classroom, anyway. So used to entering especially this classroom and having a completely unique room greet her, the reaction it got from the Ravenclaw was of curiosity as she took in the surroundings. Nowhere near as detailed and vast as the swamp from last term, though. No, it was a padded room. As for the why, they would find out soon enough.

The first thing that Austin noticed when he walked inside the DADA classroom, was the entire class was a spongecake. Cool. He gave the headmaster/professir a snile and a snall wave. After that, he walked, sort of hopped to a spot.

Patrick was clunking down the hallway, he noticed a few of his classmates walking into the class. He was not looking forward to this class. Although some lessons were tame he often found himself scared to death because he was going to die. He seriously wanted to believe that no one would die this term.

Walking with his walking boot for his ankle he joined his classmates in room 104. But he stopped just inside of the door, "Morning... Headmaster." Noticing all of the padding in the room he suddenly felt heat rising up his neck. Why in the world would the headmaster need a padded room. His palms began to sweat as he slowly walked further into the room joining some of his classmates.

Well by now it would be more out of the ordinary to expect a stereotypical classroom for the Headmaster. Eloise was hardly surprised when she walked in and saw how cool the room looked. Looks like you could bounce around and and have some fun in here. If you forget the part about it being a class with the Headmaster and being DADA.

"Hey, Headmaster. Hows it going?"

She was going to find a spot to flop down and test how padded and spongy the floors are. Do not mind her.

Stella walked into room 104 with her normal happy and bubbly attitude. Upon entering the room, her sky blue eyes noticed the all padded room. Ok... not what she she expected but then again this was Headmaster Trent they were talking about. Looks like this was going to be a hands on lesson, something that Stella was excited for.

Seeing Headmaster Trent she smiled at him. "Good morning Headmaster, I hope you're well." Seeing Rylee she smiled and waved before standing beside her waiting for the lesson to start. Seeing Analiese and Patrick she smiled and waved at them.

11 AM was such a perfect time for a lesson and she was ready for it. Even though Defense Against the Dark Arts wasn't her strongest subject but when she got E on her OWL so the Hufflepuff thought, why not taking this again? Thankfully the classroom wasn't that difficult to be found since she still needed to get adjust by this castle. Why on earth the staffs did not provide a map for a new student like her? The Hufflepuff should've come with her fellow but somehow she was left behind since she needed to do her morning skin care routine first, hehe. But that's okay, maybe next time Aurora should've asked one of her roomies to wait... if any of them wanted to.

"Good day, Headmaster." She greeted the man while stepping into the classroom. Well, this was a mostly practical class so Aurora wasn't really surprised with the lack of chair and desk presence. She decided to approach her roommate. "Hey, you left without me." She flashed a cheeky grin towards the curly-haired girl.

Austin glanced up as Patrick walked in. He was still wearing that boot. Austin quickly wrote something and walked up to him. He poked Patrick and gave him the notebook to read.

Eniola smiled at her new dorm mate. Oh, right! How stupid of me! She had totally forgot to wait for the other girl. She’d meant too! She swears! “I’m so sorry! I’m a complete Oaf! I didn’t see you when I woke up and had thought you’d already left. I’m always in such a rush in the morning. I swear I always sleep in.” Eni huffed, taking a deep breath after how much she just ramble down out an apology to Aurora. “I hope you found the classroom alright! What’s the rest of your schedule look like today? Maybe we’ve got the same classes.”

There was a obvious change to how Dorian entered the DADA classroom this year than how he had walked in previous years. He felt more confident ever since he had seen his OWL result for the subject which had made him realise that hard work really pays off.

He greeted the Headmaster with a "Good morning, Headmaster" at the door before he entered the white padded classroom. Despite that the room looked comfortable, he looked around with wary eyes. It looked TOO comfortable for an DADA lesson. He did walk in further though and leaned against one of the walls. He folded his arms over each other while he waited for his classmates to come in and the lesson to start.

The room was... not what Anna had been expecting for her first Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Instead of being disappointing or off-putting or something, though, it was exciting.

Anna smiled at the professor-and-headmaster. “Good morning.” Now, slightly unsure of where to go, she went to stand near (but not too close to) an older boy in her house. She leaned against the wall, her arms folded just like the boy. Because obviously he knew what he was doing, and she wanted to look like she did as well.

Okay. She was ready to Defend Against Dark Stuff.

11 am was lunch time not class time in Ellie's opinion. Luckily she had eaten a full breakfast and also eaten a banana just minutes ago that she hoped would tie her over until the end of this lesson. Upon entering in her uniform and with her backpack slung over one shoulder Ellie smiled sunnily at the professor in greeting as she passed him. "Good day Headmaster Trent!" It was after all after 10 am and thus not technically morning anymore.

Ellie surveyed the white padded room with no desks and chairs in sight as she went further in. She stopped near her housemate Stella and greeted kindly. "Hi Stella! Do you think we'll be meeting some dark creatures today?"

Lenora confidently walked into the classroom, knowing for a fact that she was good when it came to this subject. It was one of the very few subjects that made her want to put in the effort and study well.

“Good morning, Headmaster.” She greeted the Headmaster with a pleasant smile before looking around for a moment. No desk, no chairs.. interesting. Smiling to herself, she moved to sit down somewhere, very curious to know what they would be learning in class today.

Andromeda indeed was not familiar with Headmaster Trent's teaching methods, so everything was entirely new. The lack of desks and chairs, well... she didn't really know how to feel at the time. It was fine. She was on time. That's what mattered. "Morning," she said with a quick smile plastered to her face as she passed by the headmaster slash professor, neither chipper nor sluggish.

The only obstacle now was to find a place to... stand. It was a slow realization that sunk in she would have to mingle possibly, and that was going to be a no for her. Nevertheless, she scooted closer towards where larger groups of blue were to maybe blend in until class started, but far enough away to not invade theirs or her own space with other people.

As Nina made her way to class, her mind wandered. She knew more than to expect desks and chairs, but the lack thereof was still mildly off-putting. Or perhaps that was all thanks to the white cushioning she had immediately stepped into. If anything this felt far less like a classroom than it did a room in a psychiatric hospital. It made the Slytherin shiver in response as she took another step inside. Her eyes bounced from one end of the room to the other, trying to understand her surroundings before she look for Professor Trent. He never was difficult to find.

She liked that about him. His face was another thing she liked about him. "Good morning, Headmaster Trent," and yes, she smiled. It was quite a rare occurrence that only few were privy to. Their Headmaster was one of the few. She didn't typically greet her Professors with much more than a nod either... But Malachi Trent would always receive Nina Castillo's very best.

But again, the room was still off-putting. Nina was never one to love change and this was no exception. She quickly moved for a corner of the room, wanting to edge away from the center as quickly as possible. She found herself nearest Kaiser, and gave the boy a curious look. He was a very peculiar boy. She liked that about him.

There was something to be said for walking into the non-conventional classroom of Professor Trent’s after the slew of new classes and new professor’s she had met since the start of term. Moving through the doorway, she looked around the space and wasn’t at all shocked at the lack of chairs.

She was shocked by the padded room… had she walked into St Mungo’s?

… but no. She hadn’t. Her friends were over there and Avery was right behind her. So she was definitely in the right place.

”Morning, Professor Trent.” She said, moving further into the room so she didn’t block the doorway. ”Is this room bouncy??” How cool would that be?

Lessons that didn't involve desks or chairs or any other normal classroom stuff were Józef's favourite kind of lessons. And he quite liked Defence Against the Dark Arts. Liked it as much as a thirteen year old liked any lesson.

Surveying the room quickly, he offered the headmaster a grin and a quick "Morning!" before finding a space.

The badge she was wearing made Vita feel like she had to be at lessons early and fully committed to whatever task they were being asked to do. Luckily, the fact that she enjoyed this subject helped, not to mention their professor was the headmaster, who she always aimed to impress. It'd look pretty amazing if she managed to get a letter of recommendation from him.

"Hello headmaster," She offered cheerfully as she passed by him into the classroom. It was...an interesting setup, to say the least. At least she wouldn't have to worry about any of the younger slytherins hurting themselves?

Although he wasn't exactly expecting a padded room, Gunnar wasn't too surprised that the setup wasn't a typical classroom when he walked in. He had gotten used to a change in scenery here and there from taking the class last year. He did wonder what sort of lesson it would be in this environment though.

"Good morning, Professor," he nodded at the Headmaster as he passed, looking for an empty spot to stand. Over by the wall near Kaiser would do. He settled into the space, giving his dorm mate a small smile in greeting, his attention soon drawn to his own grumbling stomach. Hungry already? Hopefully the lesson was interesting enough that it would distract him sufficiently from the fact that it was nearly lunchtime.
