Slytherin Table

https://s26.postimg.cc/83d9xr449/sly...ble-banner.jpg
For those who belong in Slytherin House, on the right side of the Great Hall is where your table awaits. Green banners containing an embroidered silver snake float above the polished table in honour of the cunning Salazar Slytherin. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages.

Though your stomach might be growling as you take a seat on one of the long benches next to the table, it is important to not get hangry -- gnawing your arm away or jabbing your fork repeatedly on the surface of the table will do no good whatsoever. Give everyone some time to get settled in and wait for Headmaster Trent to deliver his speech. Keep yourself preoccupied by catching up with your fellow housemates until it is time to sink your teeth into the hearty and delicious meal prepared by the house-elves.

was she crying – yes, of course she was crying but that wasn’t something she was about to show off to everyone in the room. Wiping at her face a certain Slytherin slowly walked into the hall. All the while her eyes scanned for faces. Friends, she was going to miss the ones she had collected over the years at Hogwarts. For now she refused to look there, at the Ravenclaw table. It was too hard, it just reminded her of those few emotionally charged conversations that had changed everything. She hated it, change. Change wasn’t good, and this year was a year of change.

we’ve got this she told herself as she glanced over toward Gryffindor to send Stella, Rylee, and Chase a little smile. It wasn’t her patented dramatic smile or even her go-to-smirk. It was just a boring old s m i l e that didn’t reach her eyes at all. Her emotions tonight, they weren’t just because of the fact that this could be the last time she stepped foot in this school – or because of that heartbreaking conversation with Ewan. No, it was more than that. It was the fact that if she did come back, Eria wouldn’t be there. Eria had kept her sane for the past few years, and truly, truly she was a role model.

Still, as she made her way through the great hall she didn’t care, she didn’t care at all. It was evident with how she looked – her hair was a mess, she didn’t puck a single drop of makeup on and it showed. Her eyes were puffy. Running a hand over her messy hair she just quickly pulled it into a messy little bun and sat down on the bench her eyes scanning the other tables, of course shew as looking. She wanted to see them what could possibly be the last time – it was hard. Not knowing what would happen next.

Still, for now, she had to celebrate Ravenclaw’s win…gosh, this was hard. Looking over there watching, watching as they spoke to people…this was tough, she didn’t want to say goodbye even though it seemed like she already had.

Patrick walked into the great hall. He survived another term. If it wasn’t one thing it was another. He seriously needed to find out why in the world he had to have such an adventurous term each time. His parents never spoke of all these wild things. He swore when he met the new headmaster it would be tame.

Still a bit bummed about losing the Quidditch Cup he put that behind him because he was headed back to the states soon to play some Baseball for the summer and help on his parents farm. So far away from Hogwarts that he wouldn’t be left dangling on the edge of a cliff, having magical creatures attack the place he’s staying, or start growing patches of pink fur. Noticing one of the younger students looking like she was ready to be done with the term he felt that in his soul.

Sitting down about three quarters of the way back he plopped down. Now it was hitting him. Merlin he was going to be in his sixth term after this feast. How in all things magical did he get to this point? He had so much to do and figure out and he really didn’t want to see more of his friends go just yet.

Well, then.

That was that, wasn't it? Just like that, the school year had come and was now pretty much gone. In just a little while, she'd board the train to go home, and by the next time she sat at this very table, she'd be a fifth year.

What a year it had been, too. See if she EVERRR...EVVVVVERRRR...touched another unfamiliar creature. The itching...the fur...the weird eating habits. Thanks, but no thanks. Never again. There had been loads of good moments, too. She had to admit that. Transferring here had not been her favorite thing in the whole world, but she thought it was working out okay.

"Hey, guys!" she said, catching the other two already at the table. "Ready for summer?" Well, DUH. Of course they were. She sat down and tried her best not to overly stare at the blue decorations. Blue. There was just so much blue. Slytherin had been dead last in the house points race. Oh, well. There was always next year, right?

This was it, then.

His last feast. His last night at Hogwarts.

And Cameron Tamesis wasn't really sure how to feel about it. On the one hand he was REALLY looking forward to his life after graduation. Hopefully making one of the professional Quidditch teams. Moving in with Liam, Nat, and Bel. Not having to worry about what new source of danger was going to materialize inside these castle walls next year.

Although, the latter wasn't exactly true.

He would still be worrying about that. Holly was still going to school here after all. Would for another few years. They'd be separated again. However, he'd promised her (and himself) that he would visit as often as he could. And he expected her to keep him updated via letters of course. And he would do the same. They would be okay. She had people, friends, here who'd look after her.

With a small sigh, Cameron sat down where he usually sat at the Slytherin table. Not a lot of other people had arrived yet so he was simply going to save some seats for his friends. Looking around the Great Hall, he absently started fidgeting around with his fork.

So, this was it, then.

Cameronnnn

Liam was, perhaps luckily, running late for his last feast. It was lucky because he was so busy trying to get to the feast and not leave Cam hanging too long, that he had mostly forgotten that it was his last feast. So as he entered the great hall, freshly showered and looking nice, all he cared about was getting to his house table.

So he did that, slipping onto the bench beside Cam and taking the other boy’s hand. ”Hey,” he said softly. ”No one else is here yet.” In case Cam hasn’t noticed. That was good, though. It meant that Liam wasn’t actually late, which... now he could think of other things.

Like that this was his LAST. FEAST.

... should he be sad? He was kind of sad.

Patrick turned as he heard Torii speak up to him. He hadn't seen her around in a while. That could also be because he hadn't been out and about as much when the pink fur started to sprout up on his body. He was so glad he had taken that cure as quickly as he could possibly go.

He smiled at her, "I'm ready to get to see some sun since it'll be nice and warm back home. Great weather for sports ya know. What about you?" He figured just about everyone was ready to head home and not have the risk of fur sprouting on their body again. But that could just be him.

He nodded over at Cameron and Liam. He was fairly certain that they were waiting for more people to show up so he tried to let them have their space and conversation.

Lucas <3

Indigo had been tempted to just not go to the feast at all. The thought of being around that many people made him extremely anxious. But this was his best friend's last feast, so he would go for his sake. Even though he hadn't fully accepted the fact that Lucas was actually leaving. He was really going to miss him, so it was a lot easier if he just kept on pretending everything was normal.

He went directly to the Slytherin table, instead of his own table. He'd probably go over there later, to sit with Presley, or maybe he wouldn't and he'd just spend the whole time with Lucas. Where was Violet? He assumed she'd come sit with them too. For the time being, he was sitting with Lucas at the Slytherin table definitely not thinking about how his best friend was leaving him. "How's, uh... how's the university stuff with your parents going?"

Cameron had been too busy looking at everyone and everything inside the Great Hall (would he get the chance to come back some time? His parents had told him of the occasional alumni events so hopefully???) to notice Liam had walked in, too. That is, until he felt him sitting next to him on the bench and squeezing his hand.

"Hey." Cam smiled back at his boyfriend, leaning into his side a little. "None of our friends, no. Do you know where Nat is?" He was saving her a seat too, after all. Noticing Patrick out of the corner of his eyes, he gave his Captain a quick smile. They probably wouldn't be seeing each other again after tomorrow, would they?

Alis & Jorgie - Cam&Liam, Patrick

Having spend a good ten minutes glaring at herself in her dorm mirror telling herself that she wasn't allowed to cry at the fact Cameron was leaving, Holly was now entering the Great Hall with her best friends in tow.

With a smile and a wave to her brother, the second year chose to sit slightly further down the table with Alis and Jorgie - she just couldn't spend the whole feast listening to Cam and Liam's future plans. She wanted the best, the world, everything!! for Cam - but she was sad that she was being left behind. Again.

Stupidparentsandtheirstupidagegap.

Wiggling her fingers at Patrick and the other Quidditch Team members she could see, she sat down with her best friends to discuss their summer plans.

To say it had been quite a hectic term would be an understatement. There had been crazy stalker second years, Carden Clones, evil old lady eating mutant fuzzies and poop rumours. And to top it all off, NEWTs.

And despite all this? Max was kinda bummed that this was it. All done and dusted.

Was he ready for the big wide world? Nooope.

Hands shoved deep in his pockets, Max slouched his way over to the Slytherin table and dropped onto the bench opposite his dormmates just in time to hear Cameron asking the whereabouts of Natalie.

"She's probably off somewhere getting in some last minute bossing around."

2111jen 04-05-2019 05:19 PM

Skyler walked into the great hall. She was glad that the term was over with. Now she could go back home and hopefully see her brother. He was in the ministry now so she wondered how busy he would be? Not really paying attention, she gave a small wave to Patrick and sat down near him on the other side of the table. Shd was hungry.

Syd 04-06-2019 12:09 AM

all you guys <3

Now that more people were starting to trickle into the great hall, and some of them were coming to the Slytherin table, Liam was watching. Looking for Nat, mostly, but others were nice, too. He returned the nod to Patrick but didn't say anything. When he saw Indigo, Liam tried to catch his eye but the other boy seemed busy, so Liam let it slide.

Also, there was Holly. She got a wave, but Liam wasn't sure she would actually see it.

He shook his head, turning his attention back to Cam. He didn't know where Nat was, and was about to say so, when Max showed up. Liam laughed, grinning. "Probably. She's got to get her last few hours of Prefecting in, and all." He loved his sister. He really did.

hey friends <3

Summer. Everyone seemed so excited about it, but for the first time maybe ever, Vita wasn't. It had everything to do with the awkward conversations awaiting her back at Stemp House and really, leaving the Hogwarts bubble, craziness and all, was scary. Next level scary. Facing the boyfriend's mom who wasn't a fan of your relationship scary and Vita was being a complete wimp about the whole thing. At least she knew it. Maybe she should be sitting at the Gryffindor table trying to soak up some of their inexhaustible daring spirit...

Maybe.

"Hey everyone." Taking a seat by Indigo, the brunette offered a smile to those seated nearby and settled in for the feast.

sarahlooo 04-06-2019 06:14 PM

Cam, Liam, Patrick, Max, VITA. ALL of you.

"I heard that."

Natalie had been making her rounds of saying GOODBYE, thank you very much. She had not done much bossing around lately (even to Maxton, which was a miracle) because she kind of just wanted to chill for the last few weeks of her LAST term of Hogwarts. She was still doing her prefecting duties, but she had some chill now, okay.

And she had been in hearing range when they were all speculating about her, which... honestly made her feel good instead of offended. Did that mean they would miss her?

Natalie took a seat next to Vita, ignoring the seat that Cam had left for her. She'd be living with them in just a short while, but she wouldn't be able to see Vita after the summer, so Natalie wanted to get in as much Vita time as she could. She looped her arm through hers, a pleasant smile on her face. She was in a GOOD mood.

"And I was not bossing anyone around." Just in case they actually wanted to know.

She had made it to her seat just in time for the Headmaster's speech, which she didn't really pay attention to. She was glad to get out of the school. She was ready to be an ADULT and to move on and do fun things with her life. The only part she wasn't ready for was leaving Vita at Hogwarts. "You'll have to come over this summer. Whenever you're not with Maverick, yeah?" Because she was going to miss her after summer when they had to go separate ways.

littledhampir 04-08-2019 02:33 AM

Vita, Liam, and kind of Cam too

When somebody took a seat next to him Indigo thought that it might have been his sister, but when he turned he saw that it was actually Vita. Not that he was disappointed, of course. He was happy to see her. He smiled at her and gave her a quick side hug. "Hey Vita. Ready for summer?" He knew that, like him, she wasn't as excited about it as most others seemed to be.

He glanced over toward the other side of the table and spotted Liam, who appeared to be trying to catch his eye. He gave the other boy a little smile. "Hey Liam." He glanced at Cam too, who was next to Liam, and gave him the same small smile. He'd always liked both of them, and meant it when he'd said he wanted to be friends. It was just that he wasn't all that great with making and keeping friends. Still, now that they were graduating he was going to miss seeing them around. "Do you guys have any big plans for the summer?"
