The LAST thing Bel had expected was to walk into the locker room and see, strewn EVERYWHERE, Quidditch uniforms from all the teams. Except... were they from all the teams? What was up with the colours??? Orange? Purple? And an eye-burning lime? Bel blinked and then stared around in shock. The lockers were all hanging open too. She stooped over and picked up the nearest jersey in a shocking orange, with Ashburry-Hawthorne emblazoned across the back.

.... what had happened here????

Patrick walked into the locker room ready to get the Slytherin jerseys organized for his teammates. He like helping out his teammates and taking that responsibility off of them. It also allowed him to leave the confines of the castle, which lets be honest, was more than welcoming. He stopped in his tracks He saw Bel the puff captain holding a jersey that he would have sworn didn’t belong to a Hogwarts house.

Looking around he noticed the orange, purple, and lime jerseys spread across the floor. What in... he bent to pick up a jersey noticing a name on the back that belonged to another student he had heard of. “This doesn’t look good...” he whispered under his breath. He glanced up ready now to get the attention of Bel, “was this one of the captains playing a practical joke or a house elf mishap?”

He was still trying to make a name for himself among the captains and his fellow students so he didn’t really want to make too much trouble for everyone. But he was a bit mad this happened and wanted to get to the bottom of it... he would really like to do that without making anyone mad.

Bel looked over at Patrick and shook her head. "No bloody clue, honestly. I just came in and all the lockers are open and... everything is like this." She held up Derf's jersey in illustration. SO orange. Not that Bel minded orange, but orange wasn't the golden yellow that Hufflepuff usually sported. "This is a bit beyond me," she admitted, "I don't think I could fix this myself. Not really good enough at spells." Maybe they should just throw it all in and have one big final game orange vs purple with lime green refs?

Umm.... at least she could start collecting up her own team's jerseys. Bel started hunting through the strewn about, miscoloured quidditch gear.

He knew Bel would be here, only practical seeing as they had a practice this afternoon. Or...at least he thought they had one scheduled for this afternoon. The sixth year had his own daily calendar packed solid - it was a coping mechanism - and more than once this week he had had his wands crossed. At least he had managed not to show up late for any lessons, even though he had gone to Divination at an hour where he actually had History of Magic. Nothing like a good healthy sprint through the castle and bounding down those moving staircases and just barely making the connection by a desperate leap before one swiveled out of reach, ay?

"Hey Bel, hey Patrick," he greeted with a wave as he set his bag down on one of the benches and moved towards his locker...that was already open? "...captains assigned spring cleaning duties or something?"

Or was this a punishment? Along with physical acts, cleanliness seemed to be a theme among the punishments. Derf's own detention had been that but rather than discourage the 16-year-old, well, after the week long effort of wasted cleaning efforts had ceased...Derf had returned to that room to clean things properly. It was a treasure trove of tomes and discarded magical artefacts!

Upon arriving into the locker it would seen that maybe Hufflepuff had just finished practice considering that Bel and Derf where there. But there was also Patrick. ”Hi.” She was surprised by the company she found in the locker room today.

The sixth year walked into the locker room which was quite a mess. ”What….what happened here?” Looking around at the mess again then back to the others. She had just came down here to get her broom servicing kit to trim her tail. But now her own newly color changed robes were staring her in the face. Purple was her favorite color but this was too much.

"Not clean up, D... the uniforms are all.... the colours are all mixed up." She looked around to try and find one that would be a new colour that he could discern. Were they all out of his visible spectrum?

And Juni was here too. Bel half smiled in acknowledgement. "Don't know. I just came in and it was like this. Are you any good with colour change charms? Or should we get the elves and see if they'll help us?" There was no point trying to point the finger was there? And honestly, Bel was a little concerned that if one of those new professors came along, that they'd just get blamed for it and punished, and no explaining would be able to fix that. What if they banned Quidditch?

"Well. Lets at least start by putting all the teams together? Then we'll have piles of which colours they're supposed to be."

Patrick looked at the uniforms still baffled by how this happened. He was listening to the others comments. “I could only wish that it was spring cleaning Derf.” Honestly, it was ridiculous that everything was going on but he was just trying to get the uniforms back to normal.

He glanced around once he heard the mention of charms. He probably shouldn’t be the one to do it because he was absolutely terrible at charms. Any other subject, sure but charms... no chance what so ever. “Yeah count me out of charms to fix them.” he glanced at the jersey that was supposed to be his own teams but couldn’t fathom the idea that it was. He picked up the jersey and held it up shaking his head.

Hearing Bel mention that they should start sorting the Jessie’s sounded like the smartest idea. “I can at least do that.” he whispered as he began picking out two of the uniforms.
