After finishing some preparations in Greenhouse 5 Joshua headed outside to wait for Sterling to arrive. He expected her to be punctual and not late for her detention. Hopefully this evenings task in the greenhouse would get the hufflepuff girl to rethink her rebellious behavior. To say that Headmaster Scrimegour could shove his rules and stick them somewhere was not proper or respectful.
Shivering slightly in the chilly night air Joshua pulled his coat tighter and he pulled on a pair of leather gloves too as he looked expectantly up at the castle. Where was Sterling? Hadn't Noble informed her of the time and place? | |

Had Professor Noble informed her of the time and place of her detention? Yes. Was she punctual? Well, if you consider one minute to the time she was supposed to be there punctual (which she did, by the way), then yes. Keep 'em waiting, amirite?
So, here she was, walking towards Greenhouse Five, all bundled up in her coat (which still had the sequin phoenix on the back), gloves, and boots, not really looking forward to detention even though Professor Hot was the one presiding over it. And speaking of temperatures, why did she have to serve her detention out here in the cold? It was like asking to catch pneumonia. "Professor." she greeted, stopping in front of the man. Could they get inside now?

He expected Sterling to come on time, but if she didn’t well a mug of hot tea and a piece of blueberry pie in front of the fire with a good book didn’t sound so bad either. Noble had probably though drummed in punctuality into his badgers.
And as if she had heard him he spotted Sterling in the faded light bundled up in a coat, gloves and boots like was weather proper. He didn’t see the back of her coat but Joshua somehow doubted that Sterling had taken his advice about the sequin pheonix. As she stopped in front of him he greeted back. "Ms Calrissian," motioning to the door behind him Prof Wishart informed quietly. "Let’s head inside, you will be tending to some very sick and fragile plants tonight. There is no room for antics, is that understood?"

Wait.....was he sure he wanted her around sick and fragile plants? Did plants even get sick? I mean, sure you could overwater them, underwater them and all that, but....unless that's what he meant by sick? "Got it." Archer replied, headed towards the greenhouse door. She could behave when she wanted to. She just didn't want to most of the time. Besides, there was that saying about well-behaved women rarely making history....

Joshua had debated back and forth with himself about if he should or shouldn't trust Sterling to be around and tend to the sick plants. He had decided in the end though that the sick plants could provide Sterling with an opportunity to show him that she wasn't just someone that rebelled. Joshua was a little apprehensive as he lead the way into the greenhouse.
Coming inside Prof Wishart strode over to a table with a large tray of bonsai trees in their pots. Motioning Sterling over he said "Your first task without the use of magic is to remove all the slimy garden slugs that have infested these poor bonsai trees. Get to work!"
