Special Traits are tabluated with names and follow the lifepath numbers.

1 Initiative
2 Integration
3 Expression
4 Growth and Foundation
5 Vision
6 Responsibilty
7 Knowledge
8 Goals
9 Generosity
10 Dreams
11 Leadership

So in this tabluation we are using 2 different systems to tabulate our numbers. Special traits are something that has a pattern, it is similar to finding a singular meaning such as in birthdates only with your name. Please, using the pythagorean system (Look in Term One notes if you do not understand) lay out your name with its numbers on the blackboard. For example:

H A R R Y P O T T E R
8 1 9 9 7 7 6 2 2 5 9

Everybody is doing great, thanks to those who have been expanding your posts and showing your knowledge of the pythagorean system. This system is quite different in figuring out special traits, now that we all know how to figure out how to place the numbers lets figure out how to figure out the special traits. Now with special traits we are using the lifepath meanings however, we only use 1 through 9. As always we start with the name and its numbers:

H A R R Y P O T T E R
8 1 9 9 7 7 6 2 2 5 9

Now instead of adding all the number we find the frequency in which they show up. Write out all teh numbers then looking at the name look at how many times a 1 shows up, a 2 and so on. For example:

1 - 1
2 - 2
3 - 0
4 - 0
5 - 1
6 - 1
7 - 2
8 - 1
9 - 3

So here we see that 9 is the dominant number with 7 and 2 as minor numbers. Please everybody go up to the blackboard and show their names with their numbers, your frequency chart and you dominant and minor numbers. You dominant is the number with the highest frequency and your minor number is the next lowest number. You may find you have multiple numbers for either number. This just means you have more than one dominant trait.

Ok, so most of you have gotten the hang of figuring out how the numbers work. Now, I have seen questions regarding the meaning of these numbers. We use the lifepath chart, only using 1 through 9 since we reduce past 10 and 11. These meanings are:

1 Initiative
2 Integration
3 Expression
4 Growth and Foundation
5 Vision
6 Responsibilty
7 Knowledge
8 Goals
9 Generosity
<span style='color:blue'>10 Dreams
11 Leadership - We don't need these but they are a part of the lifepath chart.

Now for our examples:

H A R R Y P O T T E R
8 1 9 9 7 7 6 2 2 5 9

1 - 1
2 - 2
3 - 0
4 - 0
5 - 1
6 - 1
7 - 2
8 - 1
9 - 3

We know that 9 is the dominant and 2 and 7 are the minors. So knowing that we see a dominant trait is Generosity and the minors are Integration and Knowledge. I find it ironic that these numbers fall the way they do for Harry Potter. We know that Harry is very generous with his money, buying Ron sweets and such on the Hogwarts Express the first time they meet and giving Fred and George his Triwizard Winnings. Integration is key too, as Harry knew nothing of his life as a wizard he is now being integrated into another world altogether. Knowledge, while Harry had no knowledge of his other life he has proven himself at a very young age with the knowledge he has learned so quickly at Hogwarts, he even taught the DA!

So, your homework, please map out your name and numbers, identify the frequency as shown above and your dominant and minor numbers. Then write a paragraph about each meaning and its importance to you, if it applies or if it is totally wrong about you. Emailed to professor_trig@hotmail.com it must be received no later that 11:59pm EST (New York, Toronto, Miami Time) April 7th. Any homework submissions sent via PM will be deleted immediately and not read. Please remember to acknowledge your submission on the homework board, sometimes things can be lost in the shuffle, if your name is on that board I will know you have submitted. Any questions can be directed to myself in the questions thread.
