Slytherin Windows Under the Lake

One of the perks with living in the Hogwarts dungeons is that you get access to your very own under water aquarium and you don't even have to pay a sickle. The uplit dungeon windows in the Common Room give all snake students a direct view of the Great Lake below the water surface level and it's creatures and plant life.

Under the largest windows divans and comfy window seats have been put up with many pillows in an array of colours, but mostly in green and silver as well as stacks of warm blankets if someone wants to cuddle up on a chilly night. A small magical hot beverage maker that makes tea, hot chocolate and coffee complete with cookies from the house elves and cups is stuck next to the most left window. The beverage maker is a charmed gift from Professor Marchand.

So why not come over here, snuggle up with a blanket around your legs next to one of the windows and look out at the lake and its living eco system and you might if you're lucky see a merpeople swim by or the giant squid comes and taps at the windows.

It seemed rather redundant in Skylar's mind to be completing the flying assignment because as captain she already had training logs on the regular and minor, as well as major goals. Only problem was that most of these thoughts remained in her mind although she did on occasion write them down as things she wanted to do with her team. Also to show Baldvinnsson that the Slytherin Team was making adequate use of their pitch team as a way to barter for more.

Taking a seat by the windows, the seventh year pulled the small black notebook from her bag and stares at it, pressing the feather end of her quill on her lips. It was so easy to come up with goals in her mind. She was a very goal oriented person, but things she wanted to write down?

Sighing, she leaned forward and dipped her quill into her inkwell sitting on the table in front of her before leaning back to begin to write.

SPOILER!!: Training Log

Minor Goals: increase focus and concentration on the Quidditch Pitch and in classes
Major Goals: Survive Seventh Year Pass my NEWTs, get accepted to a desirable Wizarding University program

* Continue morning two mile jogs every day
* Add target practice once per week
* After a month, add some quick sprints into her daily jogs to break up the monotony
* After two months, increase daily jogs to three miles
* After five months, increase to five miles every day

So her major goal wasn't really flying focused, but it was through her physical activity that she would hopefully get there? Why was she struggling too on what activities to add to her list? Although the three she had was okay, but perhaps... Scribbling down some more long-term goals that seemed attainable, she bit her lip, re-reading it. It would show focus and concentration if she was able to achieve it and physical exercise was proven to help mental acuity.
