The best thing about the entertainment room was that it was for free. In the muggle world, whenever he wanted to play a game at the arcade, he had to Exchange his money for special coins and he wasn't even going to start about the ridiculous high prices that some gaming consoles had. He had asked his father for a virtual reality set but without even looking at the price he had gotten a firm no.

Ugh, he couldn't wait till he was off age and he could buy his own things.

But for now, he made do with what Hogwarts had to offer and after finding some free time, the third year entered the room and went straight for the iPods. Choosing a purple colored one, he put the ear pieces in his ears and turned on the music, clicking next next next until he found a rock song that he did not know the name of but it started nice. With the music in his ears, Dorian moved over to an arcade game machine and pressed the start button to start Pac Man.

Rylee was doing just what Rylee did best. Wandering about looking for someone to hang about with. Thankfully it didn't take all to long this afternoon cause she didn't want to waste ALL her time looking for something to do WITHOUT actually doing SOMETHING! That would have have been a serious tragedy.

Skipping her way down the corridor she peeked her head around the slightly opened door into one of her favorite places inside the castle. Was anyone i- Oh! Rylee smiled brightly spotting someone she very clearly knew. Making her way into the room was about to call out to him but noticed the chords hanging from his ears, he had an iPod on. SIGH!

Right up behind him she went, onto her tiptoes, hands raised up to very briefly cover his eyes (just barely a second or two) before she dropped her hands to her sides and stepped back and to the side of him with a giggle. "Hi, Dorian!" Cue the usual Rylee smile.

With the rock music blasting in his ears, he tapped his foot on the rythm of the music as Dorian had reached the fourth level of pac man with ease.

Starting the fifth level, he moved the pac man to eat the white dots before the ghosts got to it. With the music and his focus on the game he had not noticed that someone had entered the room as well until his vision was blocked by a pair of hands for a second or two.

"Rylee, please don't do that. I could have died" he shouted though he was not shouting at her, it was because of the loud music in his ears that he raised his voice. He played a bit longer until one of the ghosts got him and the Game Over came on the screen. "aww man" he sighed and pulled out the earbuds from his ears.

Suddenly being shouted at caught her completely off guard a look of confusion filling the young girls blue eyes momentarily. Had she really mad him angry at her? She had only been messing about. Plus he didn't even die on the game, least not due to her having covered his eyes. Only then when he pulled the earbuds from his ears did she realize that of course he would have screamed at her, he just wouldn't have known that.

"Sorry..." she mumbled kinda quietly anyhow. "I didn't mean to mess up your game." Really she hadn't. All she wanted to do at the time was let him know she was there. Sure she could've stood off to the side or something but that was boring.

There was always dusting to be done. Oh yes, there was.

Dust, dust, dust.

"Don't mind Tippin!" The house elf squeaked at the students as he busied away with a feather duster. "Tippin is very busy dusting." Because unlike Toddles, he was a good elf.

Dust, dust, dust.

The sorry that Rylee had mumbled made him feel.bad though and he awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. "Uh..its alright..." he mumbled back before he sfepped aside from the arcade game.

"You want to play a console game together?" he asked as he walked over to the consoles and picked up two controllers and waved them around. "Wait...you do know how to play right?" cause not many witches and wizards did.... He had learned about games only last year when his muggle friend had taken him and his other friends to an arcade room.

He turned to face Rylee when he noticed one of the House elves started dusting the room...eeeh...okay? "I thought house elves cleaned during the night?" he asked.

Well this had suddenly turned into a somewhat weird interaction. Usually her run-ins with Dorian were fun. She had meant to get a laugh out of covering his eyes while he had been playing the game like she usually got with Reese. He wasn't Reese though and she needed to remember that. Oh, well. What's done is done.

A game? Rylee perked up considerably at that and nodded. "Uh-huh. What game do you want to play?" She walked over accepting one of the controllers from him. She had video games at home along with a ton of games that she usually played with her brother or her friends whenever one of them came over to visit. "Do you have a favorite game you like to play?"

A squeaky voice caught Rylee's attention and right away she smiled brightly at the sight of Tippin. "Hello, Tippin! Don't worry, we won't get in your way." Those elfsies were such hardworkers! Rylee turned her head to look at Dorian. "Nah-uh. They're always busy cleaning up something or cooking and whatnot. I don't think they ever really get much of a break." Really it was sad if you asked her.

"Oh no, studentsies are never in the way, Miss Rosie!" Tippin squeaked as he continued his chores. A little dusting here, a little dusting there.

Lots of dusting to make Algamus happy.

Letting go of the controller when Rylee had grabbed it, Dorian turned around and walked to the tv to turn it on. "I don't know yet" he said as he was busy with the tv remote,trying to figure out which buttons he had to press to get the right screen. "I really like zombie games" he hated jump scares though but it was also a kind of rush "And i like adventure games, have you ever heard of Legend of ...wait whats its called??..Zella? No..Zelda! Yeah Zelda?" those games were awesome and he was glad that his muggle friend had a few of those old games. "We can't play that together though... what do you like? We'll play whatever you pick" just....not too girly stuff...

Wait, Rylee knew the House elf by name? Dorian looked at the elf named Tippin as it was dusting away. "Who is Rosie?" he whispered as he leaned towards Rylee's personal space.

Turning the controlling over in her hands several times, Rylee checked out the positions of the buttons on it. It wasn't the one she had at home. Similar though so it shouldn't be to tough to get the hang of. Zombie games? She knew what those were. Rylee watched plenty of those movies at home with her sister and some of her sisters friends when they had come over but she had never played any of the video games before. "I haven't played any zombie games before.. what are those like?" Where they easy? Did the zombies come at them in huge groups like they did in the movies? That would be really awesome! "Oh! I know that game! We have it at home! We can take turns if you want?" That's even if there was a copy of the game here there is. She didn't mind.

When Dorian leaned over closer to her whispering about who 'Rosie' was, Rylee gave a quick shrug of her shoulders mouthing the words, "I don't really know but there's loads of students here and it's really in the term maybe he got the names mixed up?" Simple confusion? She wasn't upset by it at all. Rylee smiled brightly at Tippin anyhow as the elfsie continued on with his dusting.

Tippin was a very busy elf. Busy making sure everything was clean and tidy for masters, oh yes. He waddled towards the students and even gave their shoesies a little dusting with his feather duster.

Dust, dust, duuuust.

"All clean for you now Miss Rosie. And you too Master Declan! Tippin will be gone now."

And with that he gave them a bow so low that his long nose almost touched the floor.

See? He was a good elf.

It could be possible that the house elf simply mistook them for someone else. There were many students in this place and he doubted that the house elves knew everyone. "They're mostly survival type of games but i want a game where i am the zombie, that would be cool!" he said and then watched as Tippin had moved away from dusting the room to dusting their...shoes.

Biting his lower lips and fighting not to laugh out loud because come on, that was ridiculous and kind of adorable, Dorian watched as the elf gave a deep bow. "Thank you for keeping the castle clean, Tippin" he said after he was sure he was not going to laugh and turned to Rylee.

"Would you like to take a seat Rosie?" he said as he gestured at the couch in front of the TV with a flourish and grin. He was so going to call Rylee , Rosie from now on. Wouldn't want the poor house elf to be upset that he had their names wrong right? Heh.

He walked over to grab the console and placed it near the TV. Then he picked up the cables and ...stared at them in his hands..."Eh, do you know where these go?" he asked as he held up the cables. His muggle friend owned a console and he had never seen him plug it in the TV before as it was always stuck in it.

Okay, if someone ever created a game like that she wanted to play! Rylee grinned widely nodding her head. "That sounds wicked! You go around as a zombie infecting everyone!" she giggled. The idea of it was definitely something she could get into and why someone hadn't made this happen already was well beyond her comprehension.

One second she was talking and giggling and the very next she was having her...shoes dusted? Rylee tried to meet Dorian's gaze and the look on her face had to mirror his almost exactly. Blue eyes shone with laughter as she bit the inside of her cheek rather then her lip in order not to giggle at having her shoes dusted by Tippin. This was indeed something new for her! "Thank you, Tippin! I'll be sure to let everyone know my shoes are extra clean thanks to you!" she smiled warmly as the elf disappeared leaving her and Dorian alone.

As if Tippin dusting her shoes wasn't enough, Dorian had to go and call her 'Rosie'. Rylee couldn't handle it anymore. The second year broke down into a fit of giggles crumbling to her knees in the middle of the floor. Sorry there 'Declan' but the cables for console would have to wait a moment longer until she was at least able to get up off the floor. She did at least manage a nod of her head to indicate that she knew what he was talking about and she know how to set the console up properly so they could play.

"Exactly!" It wasn't often that people understood what he meant when he said that he wanted to BE a zombie. Like, in a game, not in real life. He, and Rylee too, had already been possessed in a zombie like state before and it sucked. But he doubted zombies existed even in the magical world. What came closest was an Inferi though. He had read about them during the summer when he had been shopping at the book shop in Diagon Alley and had read bits and pieces of the sixth year textbooks. Oh man, he couldn't wait to be a sixth year to learn really cool things!

The matching look on Rylee's face after Tippin had dusted their shoes and it looked like she too was trying not to laugh. "That was nice though, cleaning our shoes. No one ever thinks about that" he was half joking and half being serious.

With the cables in his hands, Dorian turned around when Rylee bursted out in to a fit of giggles and the Ravenclaw watched with an amused look on his face as she fell on her knees. "I can't believe that you actually fell down" He said with a shake of his head but he looked amused and he was trying not to giggle himself because her giggles were very infectious.

"That would be a completely new take on the game! The main object of the game being to grow your own zombie clan!," Rylee giggled. That would be a game she would get for sure and no doubt play all the time trying to be the best at. Being a real life zombie... well no, thanks. For Halloween, okay. Otherwise no. Last year had been scary. She still didn't really talk to anyone about it. Not being in control of what you were doing was the most scariest thing she had ever been through and she never wanted to experience that again.

No one she knew of really went around dusting their shoes so she had to agree with Dorian on that. "True. It was cute too.. he seemed so happy to be doing his job."

Maybe if she wasn't on the floor laughing as hard as she was she would have noticed how amused Dorian was right now. His words only made her giggle more and she waved her hand at him trying to get him to shush, lowering her head and looking at the floor, eyes closed as she attempted to take deep breaths. "M'... f-fine..." she gasped out through a couple more giggles. Eventually she managed to get herself under control well enough to get back up onto her feet, cheeks bright pink from laughter.

"Here lemme see those, 'Declan'," Rylee grinned taking the cables from him for the console and walked over to the T.V. "This one goes here... and this here..." she explained while connecting each cable to where it belonged. "There. Now we just make sure it's on the correct channel and the game is in properly."

Dorian gasped as he looked at Rosie Rylee. "Did you just revolutionized zombie games?" cause he would totally play that kind of game. It sounded gory and awesome and as long as it stayed in the game world, he loved it.

The Ravenclaw nodded his head when Rylee said that Tippin had looked happy doing something as simple as dusting their shoes. "I hope i'll ever get a job i like as much as the House Elf did his" he said and then let out a small laugh. "I need to graduate first though" which was still years away.

He sat down on the couch while Rylee was busy getting up after her giggle fit and as she took the cables out of his hands, after calling him Declan which made him snort, to plug it in to the TV he realised that she was explaining where they went in. He got up from the couch and stood next to her as he watched. "Got it" he said. This would be handy for the next time he was here.

"There's more?" he asked as he grabbed the tv remote and looked at the buttons. "You know, i'm muggleborn but muggles live such an exhausting life" he pressed a red button and the TV went on. "OH!" He exclaimed and pointed at the TV. "I got this, can you find the game?" he asked as he pressed another button and static came on the TV.

Rylee grinned. "Maybe? You think we can design a game like that ourselves? Ya know.. if now one else does it before we get old enough to?" Or they could have someone else make the game for them. That might actually be easier. She really didn't have the faintest clue in how to go about designing a video game.

"If I ever have a job I enjoy half as much as Tippin enjoys cleaning I'll be super happy." And that was saying a lot since she was nearly always happy to begin with. "We have lots of time for that though. Years and years."

After spending a few moments explaining where all the cables went she got to her feet. Muggleborn? Rylee smiled at him. "My daddy's parents are muggles." Which explained her knowledge on most muggle things. "Yup!" Ry shuffled through a stack of video games pulling one free and opening the case, carefully putting the game into the console. "It should start up now!"

She walked over and sat down on the couch waiting for the TV to show the game screen.

Dorian shrugged his shoulders once as he thought of making a game themselves. "It is doable" he said as he looked from the controller in his hand to Rylee. "But complicated i guess, i know nothing about codes and...whatever we need to make a game" he chuckled. "Nah, i prefer playing them, we could always sell the idea" he said half jokingly.

"Do you know what you want to be?" he asked curiously as the topic went to jobs after Tippin had left. "Or a few things maybe?" He added. "Personally it would be really cool to be a wandmaker. But the cores need to come from somewhere and i'm not really a big fan of adventure...unless its safe..." and he doubted that plucking a feather from a phoenix tail would be safe. "So i'll probably end up in the ministry like my dad"

Dorian watched and nodded his head to sign that he now got where the cables needed to be pluggen in to the TV and then he followed the Gryffindor to the couch and sat down as well. "I hope this is the newest version..."

A thoughtful expression filled Rylee's eyes for a brief moment as she contemplated what Dorian had just said. "I don't know anything about coding either but selling the idea might work," she laughed. After all it was their idea and not to mention if they really did but some more thought into it who really knew if it could be come something someday?!

Rylee nodded. "Sorta? I have a few ideas. Dancing like I do now but I'm not sure about how far I'm go with that. Or Herbology like Professor Myers." Just not working with kids she wasn't sure she could handle that part. "Or creatures. If I could work with creatures that would be the best thing ever." Rylee turned her blye eyes onto her friend and grinned. "Sounds like what you need a partner. Someone to do that adventuring part for you!" Someone that wasn't afraid to get up close and personal with the creatures. Get their hands a little dirty.

Getting herself all nice and comfy on the couch she waited until the game was ready to start. "Would be amazing if it is. Ready to play?" A smile tugged at her lips as the music played and the game began. It was time to choose their characters.
