Default Music Therapy Room

Professor Myers has converted one of the greenhouses into a room devoted to the care and focus of sick or ailing plants. Not only can you test your wits in here to care for a wilting shrub or two, but you can also play any instruments you want in this room. Professor Myers is a firm believer in music therapy not only for people, but for plants, too. He himself is often seen playing his banjo in here when he has a spare moment, humming to himself as he relaxes and soothes the plants around him with his melodies.

Chill out and relax.

This room is warm, bathed in sunlight when it's sunny out, and smells like a typical greenhouse. It's the perfect place to get some private practice in, too, if you play an instrument. No outside food or drink allowed in the greenhouse without permission from Professor Myers, except for water, of course. Anyone is allowed in here to meditate, relax, and look after plants.

Lydia had been looking for a quiet place to practice with her violin. Reading the sign outside the room, she decided this was a perfect place. Not only would she get in some practice, but she'd help the sick and ailing plants as well! Her mum had once shown her a news story from the Times of London about how plants responded to music and even people speaking to them. They perked up in response to gentle, caring words and classical music. Lydia thought that was amazing.

Lydia stepped into the greenhouse and walked over to some droopy looking flowers. Poor things. They definitely needed some cheering up. She removed her Knilling violin and bow from its case. Then she removed a block of rosin from her pocket and began rubbing it all along the bowstrings. When she was satisfied, she positioned the bow under her chin and began to play a few practice notes, just getting warmed up.

Truth was she didn't know too many songs yet, and she was feeling a bit rusty. Luckily no one else seemed to be around yet to make fun of her if she hit a few sour notes!

Algamus was in GREAT spirits lately. So much that he had even left his beloved broomsie behind in the kitchens as he skipped off to find some pretty flowers. Why just who was the formerly grumpy old elf picking flowers for? Oh well, who really knew?

But the point was he wanted to pick flowers.

"And S I N G !! I'm Singing! To the greenhouses! On the grounds!" It was a course voice and not the best of tunes, but he was loud and jubilant. And it was something strange, for sure, to whoever might have been listening. Hopefully no one, because he'd probably break a glass.

Ground floor cleaning was on the menu for today. Argyle was swipe...swipe...swipping a rag along the various services as she worked. Until a rather rough sound caught her big ears and the house-elf's attention. Argyle followed quite curious as she was bothered by what all she was hearing. Wide eyes widened as Argyle finally was able to see the source as they reached the greenhouses.

Algamus?! Singing? Happily?

"Algamus..." Argyle was veeeery confused.
