Welcome to the Hogwarts RPG School Chat! Once again, it is that time of the year when another term passes and a new one begins. Let's wave goodbye to the Term 48 chat thread and say hello to the shiny new chat thread for Term 49.

It is now time for your eager student to board the train back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, their home away from home for the next nine months. I'm sure everyone is ready to head back to school, even after the strange events that occurred just months ago. Will this term bring something even more stressful than an international magical competition? Will student lives be put at risk once more? Or will there finally be a quiet year at Hogwarts?

OKAY, so we finally stalked the entrance hall ......

and um, we have a couple comments

1. Gaston Marchand needs to stop breaking our heart with his impending thoughts of doom. If this one survives and he doesn't, she'll be a wreck. Although on one hand, she says 'thank goodness she's graduating', on the other, ... the baby. The wife.

and

2. The castle walls are stone, yes?? So even if the WOOD Entrance door caught in flames (which it did), the fire wouldn't have spread and burned the rest of the castle down anyway ...... ?

One of the Inferi has badly clawed her leg. She has collapsed in the Entrance Hall from the pain and the injury itself. She will be completing her fifth to seventh years with a slight limp. There is also the mental scars.

Sylvie would like to take this moment to say she is APPALLED at Dorian thinking she is a Slytherin. This DISHONOUR.

No dig at Slytherins per say, but the girl is very attached to her house. Gryffindor and all XD

There's been times I haven't understood something OOC, so my character gets it SO wrong in class, and it's just all my fault. So it's not always our poor charries' faults.

Probably because I was there for quite a while before I switched over to Gryffindor for her.

Omg this. But for me, when i don't get something OOC my charries still want to answer things in class so i just make something up ...and then 9/10 times when i make things up the answer is correct and i'm like "....whut?

To be honest, i still see some members in their old Houses sometimes despite them having re-sorted terms ago. I don't know why my brain does this

Like Skylar deciding she wanted to be amazing at Runes and I'm all like "whut? o.o" ... Thankfully Zoe makes it super easy for me to comprehend

I need to get Emmalyn somewhere before it's all over. She's between the lake and the castle, slowly making her way with Professor Wayland and Professor Stewart. It appears that being attacked by inferi has slowed them down.
