| | |  Boris the Bewildered
 Not far from the entrance of the fifth-floor corridor stands a statue of Boris the Bewildered. Even though there is a statue present in dedication to the man, not much is known about him these days. Just by looking at his expression, it appears that he is either very lost or someone just Confunded him. Though, perhaps, this observation will not come as a surprise to you. After all, the old man is wearing his gloves on the wrong hands.
Hopefully you are faring significantly better than the statue standing before you. In general the statue is used as a landmark for prefects and Quidditch captains, serving as a gentle reminder that their exclusive bathroom is just a few doors down. If you are not a student leader, however, the statue might be viewed as yet another of those silly things that reside inside the castle and be deemed as something not worth investigating further. Though, if you ever need a casual meeting place, Boris will always be there to help you out even if he hasn't got a clue who you even are.

Slate thought that Juni was in desperate need of a new study location, if just for the day. The library and the study hall were quickly tiring as interesting.
His first thought was something outside, but the weather didn't agree with that. Even the courtyard and balcony would be too cold.
So, here he was after wandering the entire castle with a blanket and a thermos full of hot chocolate. After scouting out several locations, he sent word to Juni that they should study here today, at the foot of a confused statue. He spread out the blanket and waited for her to arrive.

There wasn’t much on the floor other than the swamp thing and from what she had heard the perfect’s bathroom and some statues.
She was glad that Slate had the idea for a change in scenery to study in. When boyfriend had good ideas he had good ideas. She also had some good ideas herself. Since he was willing enough to study with her the least she could do was feed him. She knew that he really did love food. She had packed some small sandwiches and a small platter of fruit and vegetables and made some brownies for their study date.
She headed up to the fifth floor to where the statues of Boris the bewildered was. Seeing him already there with a blanket on the floor she walked over and sit her bag down and sit next to him. ”I have to say that this is a pretty nice spot you picked out.” Without another word she pulled out the food and set it out. ”I thought that maybe could have a snack before we started.” She knew that he wouldn’t say no to that. She grinned at him. This was going to be one of the best study dates ever.

Slate grinned when he saw here. And of course she brought food. If it was possible, Slate's pupils would turn into literal hearts. Juni was always looking out for him and he loved her for that. She also knew him incredibly well.
"Thanks. I thought you'd like it." he replied. He gave her a nudge as she sat down. "I knew you needed to get out of the library."
He then reached out to help himself to a snack.

Also food which was something that they couldn’t have in the library. Tucked it next to the statue it wasn’t a bad place to slip in a few quick kisses between studying. That was also a plus.
She nudged him back before she got comfy which did not take long at all. ”It looks more like a indoor picnic.” She grinned. She did love picnics and if the weather was nice that was probably where they would be. Was that hot coco? Yep she would be needing a cup of that right now. ”Can you pour a cup of hot chocolate for me?”
She grabbed a snack and started sitting out books from her bag. Thank Merlin for undetectable extension charms. She had bought pretty much every book that they would need. ”What are we working on first?” Yep she was going to let him pick because there was no way she would be able to pick one. He was better at picking than she was. Otherwise they would probably still be in the library.

She took a sip of her hot chocolate and sat it down in front of her. ”Yeah. I’m I ever not prepared for anything.” She was the one who carried snacks for him in her bag for when he needed. And she pretty much had everything but the kitchen sink in her bag.
She laughed as she pulled the charms book into her lap. She wasn’t surprised at all by his response. ”I should have known.” The boy did love charms. Maybe that was why he was always so charming. She flipped thought the book looking for where they had left off from last time they studied together.

Slate didn't hesitate to help himself to one of the sandwiches as soon as they suddenly and magically materialized. "You're the best." he said before stuffing his face. Were they too cheesy? Yes. But it was all meant. She really was the best.
And her next comment was making his point for him.
The. Best. Girlfriend. Ever.
He pulled out his book after she pulled out hers. He set it off to the side and flipped it open before pulling out his notes. He then leaned over an took a peek at her book. "You didn't skip ahead." he said simply.
