Emmalyn marched her now twelve year old little self up to the professional quidditch booth. She knew it was never too young to plan your future and quidditch was one of the things she was actually good at. Sure, she hadn't even finish her first full year on the team, but she had made the team. A chaser!

"Hello!" She greeted with a bit more enthusiasm than necessary. "I'm Emmalyn Walsh. First year. Chaser for the Hufflepuff house team." She paused, not knowing what else she was supposed to say. "Um, well, I would like to learn about becoming a Professional Quidditch player." She paused again. "Or, maybe even how to get a part time summer job helping out a team?"

She was in desperate need of her own broom. The school issued brooms were not fast enough and they didn't handle as well as the newer designs. Her biggest problem was she didn't have any money to spend on a new broom. That was why getting a summer job was a top priority.

As if she WASN'T going to stop at this booth?? HA! To be honest, she was surprised it wasn't just packed with their players already. It was still early though, so she decided to stop here before it got out of hand. "Hi there!" she greeted happily, "I'm Kye. I'm on our Slytherin team." She gave time for the two to answer Emmalyn's questions before asking her own, especially since they were good questions. "Did you ever bounce around through positions? Or have you always favored one?

So Skylar had never planned to go pro with Quidditch; she enjoyed playing the sport, yes, and liked to think she was moderately decent at it. But to play for a professional league, as her father did? No. But as Quidditch Captain, it felt like it maybe be a sin for her to NOT stop by this table, especially since it was located so conveniently by the door and near the snack table. Not that she was here for the food, for once, because this was her future.

She was curious who might be present ... West Odessa or Zinnia Shacklebolt, perhaps. Honestly, the sixth year may have been hoping for the former just a tad because after that heartfelt package the beginning of the year, she REALLY wanted to meet him. None of the people who graduated last year whom she played under seventeen with though, but she DID recognize the one as the owner of the Magpies. Her father would kill her if she didn't, after all, considering he'd only played chaser for them for over a decade.

"Mr Mackenzie! Hi!! I don't know if you remember me," or if he was even owner when her father played, "my father played for the Magpies several years back though. I'm Skylar Diggory." And so obviously Slytherin Captain, in case her shiny badge wasn't enough to give it away. But she was a name that they should both know, because Under Seventeen things. And her father.

HOLLLLLLLAH. Beau MontaGUE in the HOWS.

He had about 20 cauldron cakes in his arms and was SOOOO ready to go see his PEOPLE. You know, the ones that spent time on brooms and got paid for it and apparently did it because jobs were supposed to be fun and...ugh whY COULDN'T PEOPLE JUST FLY FOR FUN INSTEAD OF IT BEING A JOB AND HIGHLY COMPETITIVE?!?!!!

Beau. was. never. going. to. make. it. in. this. worlD.

"SooooooooooooooooooOooOooooOOOO my Mum said you MIGHT have free stuff. You got free stuff????" Did they? He wanted the free stuff. Also......his Mum had NOT said that. In fact, she had said to not name drop her or embarrass her or himself and to MOST CERTAINLY not ask how much they got paid.

"I'm Beau Montague and it'S SO NICE to meet me."

So obviously this wasn't Zoryn's first choice in career, but every star needed a backup plan, right? Her parents, of course, didn't consider either of her plans as appropriate as they were both highly impractical. But she did have a Captain's badge pinned to her chest and Merlin, she was going to make a name for herself one way or another.

All of this to say that she was MARCHING to the Quidditch booth with HIGH hopes.

Unfortunately there was a queue now and Zoryn didn't like waiting, buuuuuuuut she also knew that these were people she was meant to impress and thus, she didn't do what she normally would have under any other circumstance (aka she didn't skip to the front and instead, waited her turn). Her mother would be so proud. Maybe.

Fiyero had been looking forward to this job fair for ages! He knew his first stop had to be the professional quidditch booth. Holy hippogriffs! They got Beck Salvatore?! He wondered how Headmistress Hawthorne (or whoever was in charge the job fair) managed that! And wasn't that Colin Mackenzie? Maybe they'd let him take a picture...

The Gryffindor inwardly shook himself. Quidditch info first, act starstruck later. He approached, his trusty camera hanging from a strap around his neck, to find that there was already a line. Figures...

He smiled, nodding in acknowledgement to Skylar, Kye, and the ickle Hufflepuff girl he didn't know (Emmalyn) as he waited his turn. He listened respectfully to the questions and answers given- though he wasn't sure whether to laugh or roll his eyes when Beau asked about free stuff. His smile faded when he saw Zoryn. He wasn't angry at her for getting the Gryffindor quidditch captain spot he had his eye on - He couldn't blame her; anybody would want to be quidditch captain - it just reminded him of his own failure and betrayal by a professor he once trusted. Now he wasn't sure he wanted to know the answer to the question he had...

As Zarina was looking around for some more ideas, she saw the Quidditch booth and thought why not check it out. She was on the slytherin quidditch team so it didn't seem like a too far out idea to have a back up plan. She walked over to the booth and take a pamphlet. Zae saw her Qudditch captain there and she beamed. "Hey Skylar! Fancy meeting ya here.." Now did this slytherin have any questions? Well maybe one. She wanted to know if they did any internships or any quidditch camps to perfect her skills. Zae saw one of the guys at the booth and cleared her throat.

"I'm curious do you guys have an professional quidditch camps to practice your skills and such because if there is I would totally go to one." She heard other questions to she was burning to know and she waited to hear their answers.

Skyler walked into the great hall anticipating to bw eating lunch. Instead, her eyes widened to see a lot of tables with everything career related. She beamed when she saw the quiditch booth. She didn't have a broom yet but she did want to be on the team. Not to mention, there was a professional player there too? She excitedly walked up to the table.

It had been a few years since Beck has done an event like this. He wasn't shying away from the limelight, that wasn't his style. He loves attention but he knows that he doesn't need it day in and day out. Nope. This meet and greet was different and it had an interesting location as well. It was really nice to be back at Hogwarts again.

Beck smiled at the young girl that had walked up to him. "Bonjour, Emmalyn, it's an honor to meet you." he said in his smooth French accent. He listened to her closely. "Hufflepuff?! That's one great house to be in! Congratulations on making it on the team!" he smiled as he spoke to her. Wow! This student really knew what she wanted to ask,
Beck was impressed. "There are summer youth Quidditch programs, my advice for you would be to work your hardest and owners, coaches of professional teams will keep their eyes on you if they don't already. The most important advice that I have to give is make sure you always have fun playing the game, once the game isn't fun anymore that's when you know your heart isn't in it." that's what he was always told my other professional players.

On to the next, Beck loves these events but sometimes he wished that he was able to spend more time with each and every person. "Bonjour, Kye, it's nice to meet you. Congrats on making the Slytherin team. What position are you playing?" He gave her a nod and a smile as she started to go into her question. "I've mainly just stuck with being a Keeper but before I started playing professionally I was playing in a summer league in France and they had me play as a keeper first but then they switch me to Beater and a Chaser before they stuck me back as a Keeper. Being a Keeper is my favorite one, it gives me something to fully focus on." He wasn't pick on what position he was in when he was younger but now he feels really attached to the position in a good way.

The next person up at the table was a very excited boy that Beck couldn't help but chuckle at, yup, he was like that was he was his age. "I brought some free stuff but I'm not sure if you will like it." Beck was the other player from a specific team so it was hard to tell if these students would like his team. "Pleasure to meet you Mister Montague." This was how he had onced acted, okay, sometimes he still acts like this.

This was an interesting question for him to answer because when he started playing professional Quidditch he never remembered any sort of camps being offered to the younger kids. "I'm not sure actually, I haven't seen any camps of sorts in a really long time but I have attended the tryouts. I can put a word at the Ministry of Magic and see if the Department of Magical Games and Sports has come up with this idea and I'll talk to some of the team owners about it as well." Maybe that would help out to see if this can become a thing.

Finnally, Skyler could ask a question. She walked closer to Beck
Was she a bit nervous? Yeah, she was but she did try her best. Introductions. Intros first.
"Hey, I'm Skyler," the young eleven year old said. "I was just wondering, um...does it ever get boring? I mean, playing quiditch as a career?"
Did that come out wrong??

Fiyero waited until the line had cleared out somewhat. When it was finally his turn, he approached the table, feeling suddenly shy. "Mr. Mackenzie... Mr. Salvatore..." he began. "It's an honor to meet you both. I'm Fiyero Jones." Should he offer them a handshake or was that too forward?

So far, so good. At least he didn't take one look at them and completely blank out like he thought he might. Let's just hope he could manage to ask his questions without making too big an idiot of himself. "So, do you think it's better to go into professional quidditch straight out of Hogwarts or join a university team to build up experience first?" Now came the moment he was dreading... "Also..." His mouth ran dry, and he had to clear his throat before trying again. "Is it possible to get on a professional quidditch team if you didn't make your house team at Hogwarts?" He nervously ran a hand through his hair. What if they said no?

Rylee had spotted the Quidditch booth almost the moment she had walked through the doors but the line had been LONG. So she had wandered about to a few other booths first and grabbed something to eat.

Now that the line seemed a little shorter, the firstie had doubled back to spot there. "Hello! I'm Rylee, reserve for Gryffindor." Which was A-OKAY. She hadn't had the chance to play in any of the games but she was as much a huge part of the team as anyone else and they all treated her with the most respect and made her feel as if she played every game too.

"What does it take to play professionally?" There had to be some type of requirements. Every career had requirements. Even at only eleven she knew that much already. "Would it be best to focus on just one position or keep working at becoming really good in all the positions?" Right now she was training to be a Chaser and a Keeper with her Captain's help though her heart was still set on becoming a Seeker one day.

Mister Montague? SwooooooooOOOOON.

Forgetting his arms full of cauldron cakes, Beau shoved a hand out for SIR BECK SALVATORE to shake. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Shake. His. Hand. NOW. "I'll take EVERYTHING you have. All the free stuff. GIMME GIMME GIMMMEMEEE." Had he mentioned that he was kind of a Tornadoes fan? AND THIS WAS THE BEST DAY EVER.

"You know my Mum!!!!!!!!!" Didn't everyone though?
