| | |  Boys Dormitories
 Located at the top of a spiral staircase and just to the left are the Gryffindor boys' dormitories. Rooms are assigned according to year, and each door is marked with a wooden plaque. Room assignments are as follows:
Each room is home to several cozy four poster beds with gold sheets and pillows and a bright red velvet covering. There are matching red silk curtains that can be drawn to give the occupants a bit of privacy. Each bed has its own nightstand, and, in keeping with the Gryffindor element of fire, the rooms are lit with magical flames in fireproof, shatterproof jars.
Thirsty? A mini fridge stocked with bottles of water sits in one corner of each room. You may even find a midnight snack in there somewhere!
Please remember that this is the boys dorm, in other words NO GIRLS ALLOWED! But just in case anyone gets any ideas, the rooms are charmed to emit a loud siren to immediately alert the Head of House.

Zoryn stood at the bottom of the stairs, staring up at the dorms that were off limits. It's not like she had any business going up there in the first place... She had no real reason to try... BUT it was the principle of the matter!!! She had to know if she could!! It was HIGHLY important. Mhm.
The Gryffindor even had an alibi.
She was simply trying to deliver something to someone. Yeah....
Or maybe this was a bad idea.
Instead of deciding whether or not it'd be worth her while to attempt the climb,
Zoryn just stood there and stared up ahead with a vacant expression on her face. See it wasn't exactly the repercussions of trying to get there that scared her. It was her badge. What if she got caught trying to break the rules and then Professor Marchand saw and took away her badge???
Was he allowed to do that???
Did he have that kind of authority?

Finally.
Daehyun finally had the time to go find a quiet place to do some light reading so, clutching two bestiaries in his hands, one absently petting the spine of a very content Monster Book of Monsters, he skipped across the dormitory and out the door and-
... ran straight into Zoryn.
Well, not literally, because he'd halted his steps just moments before crashing into her, but what was she doing there... the girls' dormitories were on the other side... hmmm. Blinking in confusion, he wasn't sure what to say, so he just squealed a, "... hi?"
Smooth, Daehyun. Smooth. Very manly, too.
His mind, however, was shooting one question after another. Did she need help with anything? Was she looking for a boy? WAS SHE TRYING TO SNEAK INTO THEIR DORMITORIES TO SPY ON THEM? | |

Okay, her decision had been made. Zoryn Amari Spinnet was about to go where no female had ever gone before: The Boy's Dormitories. That's right, one small step for Zoryn! One large step for (wo)mankind!
Annnnnnnd right as she was about to take that step, she ran right into Daehyun.
Well, figuratively.
"Hi," she replied, as if she were doing absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. Why'd he sound so suspicious? Zoryn didn't seee anyyyyyything wrong. And the less she admitted to, the better. Zoryn Spinnet knew how not to self-incriminate. Pluuuuuuuus, she already had her alibi at the ready. It wasn't a total lie either, 'cause Théo would surely help her out with it. Mhm.
See, she was innocent Daehyun.
"Where ya going?" Hopefully away from here so that Zor could walk up the steps without any issues.

He had juuuust gotten out of the shower, and within the confines of the Boys Dorms, anything goes right? Theres nothing one bloke has that the other one didnt. So Ace was just padding around in pretty much just showerwear, on his way back towards the dorms, bringing some personals left at the bathrooms by Daehyun. And as he spotted the boy making his way out of the dormitories the Curly Top called out after him--
"Hey Daehyun just a sec, you left your un-- OH GEEZUS!" he scampered immediately out of sight, into the closest crevice that he could squeeze his gangly, semi-hulking frame behind.
Was that a girl? It had girl hair. In fact it had ZORYN hair come to think of it. | |

Was Zoryn trying to distract him? Because he could see right through her. Even the eyes of the Monster Book of Monsters whose spine he was petting lightly opened and watched her warily.
"I was going to find a quiet place to do some reading," he said, still cautious. The Quidditch captain was up to no good, and he could basically smell it. The girls' dormitories were on the other side, and she was clearly headed towards the wrong one... something wasn't right there. Unless she'd been hit by a Confundo in DADA and it still hadn't worn off, but he seriously doubted that. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he asked, "Where are you going?" Surely not towards the boys' dormitories? was the question that remained unspoken, but he wasn't going to accuse just yet.
Just then, his eyes widened impossibly large when the Head Boy came out and- "MERLIN'S BEARD, ZORYN LOOK AWAY!" He stepped in front of Ace to serve as a cover, but a very pathetic one, since the height difference was quite... there was quite the gap. He was also pretty mortified himself, since he had yet to get used to how carefree some boys were in the dormitories.

Yes, yes she was trying to distract him. Was it working?
“Oh that’s cool, hope you find one!” A quiet place to do some reading, that is. Why did he look like something was wrong? Clearly Zoryn was just out here casually on a stroll to figure out what went on up there in the boy’s dormitories. Nothing out of the usual. Nothing Daehyun needed to be afraid of. She was 700% innocent and if he could just step out of the way that would be FANTASTIC. “Oh, I’ve just gotta drop something off for Théo.” She held the notebook in the air. See, her alibi.
And then before she could say anything else (though she likely wasn’t going to), Tenacius Slanader happened. Instead of taking Daehyun’s call to action, Zor kept staring straight forward right past him. He wasn’t a very good cover, did he know?
Not that it mattered much ‘cause Ace was out of sight now.
It was still HILARIOUS though.
So she laughed.
Actually, it was more like a roar.
She was roaring with laughter. Yes, precisely.
