To get to the basement level of Hogwarts, you need only go through the door located on the right-hand side of the marble staircase in the Entrance Hall. After doing so, you will find yourself in a broad stone corridor that -- contrary to the cold, damp corridors of the dungeons -- is warm and brightly lit with numerous torches. The atmosphere in this part of the castle is inviting, so feel free to stroll around aimlessly.
Though there are suits of armour scattered about here and there, it is the cheerful pictures placed on the walls that capture your attention. Rather than depicting famous witches and wizards, on display is a rather tasteful spread that will get your mouth watering instantaneously. Within each frame are paintings of food, from pots of soup, gourmet meals on silver plates, bowls of ice cream, boxes of glazed doughnuts, and more. If you weren't hungry before, you likely are now. It's a good thing that the kitchen is somewhere around here, right?
Normally Rylee was all smiles and nothing but sunshine and rainbows. However she wasn't to thrilled with the name calling even if it wasn't fully directed at her. Huh? Not all lions were meatheads... just the boys? Did this girl have something against boys or just the boy lions? Rylee took a moment or two longer than what was necessary before she nodded very slowly. "It's okay... not every lion is that way. Not even the boys. Most of them are really awesome and incredibly helpful." Like the Lion King (Tenacius) and Solo (Matt). Those were just two of the guys in her house that she got along with. "I bet there's lots of boys in the other houses that think their all manly and they aren't." That was her guess anyhow.
"I think most of us are equals in here.... maybe they do mean man and creature. That makes a lot of sense.... Or maybe us and those that don't have magic?" Either way it wasn't far. Everyone should treat everyone else how they expected to be treated. With respect. Rylee shifted her gaze back onto the drawing. It was red which was why she had noticed. "True. There's tons of other spots this could have been done that would have been much more noticeable.. unless whoever did it was hoping for the Slytherin's to see it first?" Hence it being done down in the dungeon area.
At least they were on the same bag here. "Who should we get? Professor Noble?" The potions room was closest from here. "I'm Rylee, by the way." Might as well introduce herself if they were going to be walking around together.
She watched and waited for her to reply. She listened and nodded, shrugging a little. "I suppose youre right... not all guys are meatheads and it isnt like it is just a house... I think its mainly lion guys who show it more often because they have that brave or courageous thing going on but it could be just guys in general... or some girls even..." She shrugged. "I was only basically rambling away and didnt mean anything by it..." Steffi sighed and shifted her weight.
"Yeah, I think most is equal..." She nodded. "Oh! Yeah, maybe it is about magic... I mean that means sense too..." Steffi looked up and stared at the drawing. "Why would they want a Slytherin to see it first though? Do you think it is about how Slytherins think they are above everyone?" She tapped her chin, thinking.
Steffi looked at her and nodded yet again. "Yeah, Professor Noble... Office is closer so as long as it isnt empty, it will be faster." She nodded again. "Im Steffi..." She offered her hand to shake.

She was one of those girls that wasn't afraid to jump right on in usually. "It's okay. Lets just forget about it." No sense in making a big deal of things when it didn't need to be.
This was the problem. She really didn't know. Most of what she had just said had been her own thoughts and guesses about the situation. "I'm not sure. It could be... but a lot of Slytherin's aren't that way. At least my big sister says they aren't... she told me a lot of them are really sweet and they make amazing friends." Shrugs. If Rian had said it though it had to be true, her big sister would never lie to her.
"Okay. Let's go see if he's in his office than." Rylee smiled holding her own hand out to take the girls. "It's nice to meet you Steffi."

She was one of those girls that wasn't afraid to jump right on in usually. "It's okay. Lets just forget about it." No sense in making a big deal of things when it didn't need to be.

There was a soft giggle before Rylee nodded. "Some of them really are but so are a few girls." Herself included. "You're welcome." She smiled. Things like that were best to just forgive and forget.
"No, Rian was a Hufflepuff but she had a few friends that were in Slytherin. She had friends in all the houses just like I do." Rylee smiled warmly again. "Well you have one friend now and I think you're nice." So far. She would have to know her a bit longer in order to really know what type of person she was. Everyone was always given the benefit of the doubt from her though. She believed all things both good and bad always happened for a reason.
A true smile formed on her face at the hand shake. They were officially friends now in her eyes. Really everyone was her friend to her even if they themselves weren't fully aware of it. "Come on, lets go see if he's there." With that Rylee turned on her heel and headed back down the corridor towards Professor Noble's office in hopes that the man was there.
