Blinking Laurel realized that she had been staring at the same lesson plan for the last 20 minutes without writing down a single word or new idea. A break and change of room seemed like the most sensible action to take. She wasn't getting anything done anyway so maybe some tea and a look through the latest seer's weekly or even doing a reading or two would give her a fresh prospective on what to do with the lesson plan that wasn't writing itself like they usually did.

Leaving her office Laurel unhurriedly walked the short distance to the Tea Room and headed inside, a smile forming by itself on her face as she headed over to the tea kettles. Tea was just the right medicine she needed to get her creativity flowing and to get some warmth back into her cold fingers too. Choosing a big floral patterned cup Laurel poured steaming tea into it before she took a seat at one of the tables. Lifting the cup up to her lips to drink the hot liquid she pondered if she was in the mood to do a tea leaf reading or even some water scrying?

The question hung in the air as Laurel waved out with her cup causing the tea to splutter out all over her clothes and the exposed skin on the tea holding arm. "Ooo, it's warm!" she exclaimed out in sudden pain.

Katherine didn't believe in divination, nor did she ever take the class. And yet, she was about to go crazy with stress, and her feet just... took her there. She needed to know, and although her logic was screaming that this was absolutely stupid, she still couldn't help it and found herself in the zone. She looked around - she didn't want to be seen while entering this... place of hoax. No one seemed to be around, so she timidly entered...

...and the professor SPILLED hot tea on herself!

Katherine gasped at the sight in shock, while quickly getting her wand out and yelling "Tergeo!" directed at her arm and clothes. Then she quickly conjured cold air to cool the area.

"Do you want me to fetch burn paste, professor?"

Olly did not take Divination. Olly did not like Divination, which would be why he did not take it. So when he entered the tea room his thoughts were not on using it for Divination purposes. He did not think that was a requirement of the room. It was there and open for all students. There were no rules on how it had to be used. So he was just going to use it to make some tea. Because he liked tea (unlike Divination).

Olly had sent an invitation to Ava to meet him there for tea, because it had been a while since he had hung out with her. Sure he'd seen her around but he wanted to actually hang out and catch up. She was his friend, after all. And for her, he was willing to walk up all those flights of stairs. It seemed that he had arrived first, which he didn't mind. He'd made a point of not being late and it seemed that instead he had arrived just a bit early. That was okay, though. It only meant he had time to start brewing the tea before she arrived.

A tea time invitation from Olly! Ava didn't have anything to do today (although there were some assignment needed to be done but it could wait) so without any doubt, she accepted the invitation. It was weird to step her foot to the divination tower. The Gryffindor had dropped that lesson before her OWL year so she was rarely being here. She knew about the tea room which was located there, though. Olly must've been there because she went downstairs to grab something for tea time snack.

See? The Slytherin prefect was already there. "Have you been waiting too long?" Ava asked him as she put a box of cupcakes. "I went to fetch some cupcakes for us." She said grinning.

Olly was humming to himself as he brewed the tea. It was almost done and at this rate it might be done before Ava even got there if she didn't get there soon. But luckily she did show up before too long. Olly grinned when she arrived. He was about to tease her about getting lost, when they were on the same floor as her common room, when he spotted the box she was carrying. That box could only contain delicious things.

"Cupcakes?" Olly grinned. "Brilliant idea." Yes, he had definitely made a good idea in inviting her to tea. "Nah, I haven't been here long. I'm happy to wait if it means getting cupcakes." He wanted to open the box immediately but reminded himself to be patient. "What flavor did you bring?"

Glad that he wasn't waiting too long for her. If only Olly notified her earlier about this, perhaps the Gryffindor could bake muffins or so. But well, thankfully some house elves did some baking for other students and there were some leftovers for them. "There are some vanilla buttercream, and chocolate one... Just those basic flavors. I don't think you're into vanilla."

It looked like the Slytherin prefect had brewed the tea for both of them. Hmmm... Ava could smell it. She grabbed a teacup for herself and looked around. So many divination related things in here place which was not really surprising since this tearoom was located in divination tower. "So what do you think about the invaders?" The Ilvermornies, she meant. "Have you found a gorgeous American yet?"

"Vanilla is fine, but chocolate is definitely the best." He grinned and grabbed one of the cupcakes immediately. One of the chocolate ones, of course. Olly would eat any flavor of cupcake in front of them, but if he had to choose he would definitely choose something chocolate. He began by licking at the icing on top of the cupcake as he watched Ava pour the finished tea. He was not as interested in that anymore now that he had a cupcake.

"I've looked, but nothing else. Some of them are pretty cute, but they're not that great up close. Kind of close. I don't know why they came here if they don't seem to be so happy about it." They were kind of rude, in his opinion. At least so far. He supposed they might get better after they had been there for longer, but for now he would stick with just looking. "I know you don't care about their looks, but have you met any of them yet?

What did she thought about the Ilvermorny students?

Ava took a sip of her tea while thinking about the American students. "I don't want to judge but well...Those students who took over the Gryffindor tables were... loud. Not to mention the guy who brought a radio and played the music." She shook her head. The Gryffindor didn't want to be unwelcoming host and rude but please, be respectful to the host. "Is it such an American thing that they acted like they own this place? Thankfully they have their own place to stay." So, did he still want to ask one of them out for a date? Perhaps Olly would be interested with the radio guy... What was his name again? He's kind of good looking but just not her type, and he's happily taken by a handsome Slytherin.

Laurel was staring down at her arm, distractedly setting down her floral cup with what was left of the tea with her other hand. Letting the sensation of pain run through her system and watching the burns form on the skin of her arm Laurel didn't hear or see the student come in until she heard someone say 'Do you want me to fetch some burn paste, professor?'

Looking up from her arm at the girl in eagle robes she smiled weakly as she gestured to the nearest cabinets on the wall. "Hi Katherine, yes please can you fetch some burn paste, there should be a first aid kit with burn paste in one of the cabinets."

Peering down at her tea stained clothes Laurel pulled out her wand to clean off all the stains. Focusing on Katherine instead of her bruns she asked curiously. "What brings you by the Divination Tower Katherine?"
