| | |  Waiting Room of Professor Newton
 Professor Newton restored the dungeon surrounding his labs and office, and the rooms themselves, to how they originally looked. Yes, it might be dank, but you need only ask for the heating lamps to be put on.
As you walk down the stone corridor, leading you further into the depths of the castle, you will see an office door, with a waiting area against the opposite wall. There is a variety of potions and chemistry magazines on a small coffee table.
Please post your character knocking at Professor Newton’s door, and wait for us to reply, inviting you inside.

It was that time again. Time to see Professor Newton about potions tutoring. She actually excited about it too. For one thing, despite having started out horrible at potions, Hadley really enjoyed the subject. There was so much that you could do with potions. Like spend time as an animal, which she had gotten to do last term. And for another thing, the tutoring was really working. Hadley had improved a lot just over last year, thanks mainly to Newton and his tutoring. If she kept improving like this, she'd be getting an E or higher next year during her O.W.L.s.
Hadley made her way across the waiting room and knocked firmly on Professor Newton's door. She smiled thinking about how he had come to watch her play Quidditch and act in her play over summer. Say what you will about Hogwarts, but the professors here really do care about the students, and that, even more than the fact she learned magic here, made Hogwarts the best school she'd ever attended. Hadley spun on her heels and took a seat while she waited.

Art got up to flick the switch on the kettle, and opened the door.
"Ah hello Miss Denaker. I was wondering when I'd see you. Come on in. Cup of tea? Hot chocolate?" The kettle boiled quickly and he went about preparing the hot drinks. OOC: Post in the office when you're ready

There weren't many things that could make Blaise Bellaire leave the warm, comforts of the Gryffindor Tower to visit his Head of House on the exact opposite end of the school. That was possibly the first sign of just how serious this was and how scarred the young man might truly have been.
Images he would never unsee and quite frankly would never like to see again, that was how he would explain the day before and he wouldn't be having it because...because....just WHY??? Why was it even a thing??? Of everything that could happen, why THAT???
Clara might not have thought it was entirely horrible but this was gonna have to be a solid no for him.
Blaise gave three firm knocks at the door then stood waiting right there. No taking a seat and reading while he waited, standing with his quill by his shoulder worked just fine.
This needed to be sorted, for the sake of his own sanity.

When the knocks came, Art put his cup down and opened it... not at all expecting the young man there. "Mr Bellaire, er.. h-hello there. Would you er... well, come in." He stood with the door open. "Can I get you a drink? Tea or hot chocolate?" OOC: Feel free to post in the office when you're ready

In spite of Katy's great love of all things Potiony and her aptitude for the class, she hadn't made a point of cozying up to Professor Newton. Perhaps she should have done so earlier, but she didn't want to be too OBVIOUS to him, especially since she was boosting ingredients from around the school.
But he was a Potions Master, and she needed an expert's opinion. Plus, it was probably time to start networking. And maybe he could teach her a thing or two. Or sure, he already had, but really teach her. She knocked on his door and waited.

He quickly added the last few lines, folded it up, and put it in his desk until he was ready to go to send it.
He opened the door and saw Miss Toussaint, "Hello, Miss Toussaint, how are you today?" he asked, whilst opening the door to allow her to enter. OOC: Post in the office when you're ready

"Professor! Liv is sick! She fainted after the race!" She hollered with appropriately Gryffindor volume and urgency. Because she was worried okay? And Healer Reed had wanted the Gryffindor head of house to know.
