The Three Broomsticks is the most well-known pub in the small village, which is why it is often rather crowded with students and adults alike. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way. It certainly looks better kept than the Hog's Head down the street.
Once you enter the pub, the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly in front of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate; however, if you're early enough, you can bet your galleons that you'll be nice and toasty by the fire. To the left is the bar where the bartender waits to take your order.

Esme had a weird craving for macaroni and cheese; not weird in the sense that she never wanted macaroni and cheese - it was one of her favourites - but weird in the sense that it came out of nowhere. Looked like she had no choice but to stop off at the Three Broomsticks for some and a glass of butterbeer. She was getting excited just at the thought of it!
Opening the door, she was surprised to see that she was the only student there. Shouldn't there be a big crowd by now? Slightly confused, she found herself a table and took a seat before glancing at the menu. Just in case she decided that she wanted something on top of her macaroni and cheese. Esme was a growing girl and she would be 17 in February. Hard to believe that she and her sister were almost of age. Their mother would probably cry about it as 'her babies were growing up'. Really it was just a really exciting prospect to her though she had never kissed a boy before.
Her thoughts jumped to Oliver but it was ridiculous. She would never be more than a friend to him. Sighing, she laid her head on the table sadly. It would never be any use to carry on with this silliness when it was never going to happen.

Watching over the grounds, keeping his snakes in check and flying lessons sure did eat up his time. But Justin never let that stop him from having fun along the way. So here was Justin making his way in Hogsmeade. Kirk was old enough to run around the village unsupervised. Little Lucy was in school with Zach working on practices. So with that bit of free time Justin stepped right into The Three Broomsticks where he awaited his dear cousin to arrive. He got two flasks of butterbeer before choosing a spot to wait.

There was even little time for her scrying of the future with her beloved cards and crystal ball. Something Laurel disliked because that meant that she was as in the dark as everyone else.
So this Hogsmeade weekend couldn't have come at a better time especially after hearing the wonderful baby news. Laurel was eager to know if she was getting another niece or nephew to dot on and send presents to and look out for in her cards. Stepping into the Three Broomsticks on this fine saturday day the blond ordered a large plate of fish and chips from the shopkeeper before she searched around for Justin.
Spotting her cousin with two flasks of butterbeer Laurel waved and then made her way over to him with a broad smile on her face "Hi Justin, or should i say soon to be daddy of four? Do you know yet if it's going to be a girl or a boy?"

With that on his mind, not to mention thoughts of a certain blonde in his head, his brain felt practically full and the Ravenclaw was distracted as he moved into the establishment..

Blinking, she caught the name Juno, and it registered that he was asking if she was her sister, or just looked like her. That was something that happened a lot when people weren't all that familiar with them, so she was not put off in the slightest. Plus he was really cute and that was never a bad thing. Actually, she remembered seeing him in classes though they had never interacted until now. It seemed as if her sister had made a new friend which was great because Juno had a harder time socializing, preferring to keep more to herself on the most part. When they weren't together, that is.
"I'm Esme, Juno's twin." Esme assumed that was the word he was looking for.

"I'm Leon, Leon Kennedy. " He said by way of introduction, the last thing he wanted was to seek like some sort of creepy guy who was asking about her sister! "Juno and I met when we worked on a project in astronomy together. " He explained a bit more..
And ever since his head had been up in the clouds!
Pull it together Leon! He thought to himself as he smiled.
"I think she mentioned she had a twin.. but I don't think we've met formally yet. "
And yeah Juno HAD mentioned her twin, right after he thought he had been losing it..

Juno was walking into the Three Broomsticks to see if Esme was here, and to get a Butterbeer of course, when she saw that Esme was not alone.
Oh, boy. She hadn't seen Leon since their Astronomy class and had been thinking about him...a lot. He was so cute and really sweet. Hopefully Esme told him who she was because it was really cute how confused he was when he saw that Juno's face was on someone else.
She took a deep breath and quietly walked towards the table, her boots making a tapping noise as she walked across the wood floor. "Hey Es! Leon! I see you found my sister." She grinned, and sat down next to Esme and gave her a side hug. It had been at least a day since she had seen her sister. They were both so busy with classes and their studies, it was hard to catch each other.

Esme couldn't help but raise her brows at the boy. He was acting pretty weird when it came to her sister. "Do you have a crush on Juno or something?" It was alright if he did; she wouldn't tell if he didn't want her to. Even if she told her sister everything, it wouldn't be right to spoil it for her; better if it came from him. Anyway he was really cute and seemed nice. If he played his cards right he would get her seal of approval. "Nice to meet you, Leon. I guess it's impossible to miss that we are identical." Minus the difference in height and fashion sense at least.
Those boots she heard could only belong to one person...
"Hey, sis!" Happily she returned the side hug. They had been busy and hadn't seen each other much the last couple days. Really it had just been right before bed and early in the morning. It made her sad, but Esme knew that Juno had a lot of Prefect duties and she was way too happy for her sister. "Leon actually thought I was you at first." When he knew them better he would be able to tell them apart the way Oliver did. Just thinking about him made her sad.
To say that Robin felt out of place was a gross understatement, really. He ran a hand loosely through his dark hair and had to tell himself to breathe. Like, who forgot to breathe? He did. That's who. His anxiety was currently at 5000 and he couldn't help but wonder what his mum would think of him here in this... village meeting his sister. Would she have been keen on it?
He had told her he was going to his Uncle's house... and he had. And then his uncle had brought him to Hogsmeade. Then went to do things. Plausible deniability. Yep. That was what it was. Now where was Sam? She had said she would meet him here at precisely noon. It was now quarter past. Was she late usually? Was that a thing?
Sam had run round the castle looking everywhere for her bestie, but apparently the Gryffindor was nowhere to be found. As a consequence, she was arriving at the Three Broomsticks rather later than planned, and alone.
Hopefully her brother meant it about wanting to meet her, since she was missing a pyromaniac safety net right now. She had other plans for after this meeting she really wanted to make it to.
She pushed open the door to the pub, and lingered on the mat a moment before being pushed in more fully by a mob of excitable students. Giving them a frown for their impatience, more because of the nerves jangling in her stomach than anything else, she smoothed her hands on the legs of her jeans, and straightened her white blouse. A blouse that she wouldn't ordinarily have chosen, but she wanted to make the effort.
She was late enough to know her brother must already be here, but where?
Her gaze scanned around the room, landing on a table conspicuous for only having one boy at it. Not a student she recognised, and looked slightly older than herself. Was that him? She chewed her lip, unsure. If she wanted to turn back, the time was now. But she also wanted explanations. She started headed over, already mentally preparing how to introduce herself.

The question that Juno's doppelgänger posed to the seventh year, had the dark haired boy rubbing his neck a bit more than usual.. "Ahhh, well you see.. " It was all Leon could do not to stammer and blush! Chinese Fireballs! What was wrong with him?
"I.. uhh.. "
Just say Yes, you idiot! He chided himself and he was about to open his mouth again when the object of his stammer and blushing awkwardness walked right into the eatery!
He gave Juno a very warm smile as she walked in and gave her sister a side hug...
Leon nodded as The Twins spoke.. "Yeah I'm afraid I did mistake Esme for you, Juno." He admitted sheepishly.. He felt bad, but now looking at them together he was starting to see some differences..
Juno's eyes were brighter, and her smile made the corner of her eyes crinkle upwards just a bit more than Esme's..

Robin felt like his emotions were getting quite the yoyo treatment right now. Not knowing exactly what his sister looked like... and all of the kids in here... well he was getting excited-nervous Everytime a younger girl stopped in front of his table. A smile which would shine bright and then wither. THE AGONY!
But his eyes landed on ONE GIRL. One who looked... a bit like himself. And she looked nervous, too. Was this... her? She was coming toward him also. Oh man!
The brunette haired boy stood quickly, bumping his table hard thus spilling his water. A slow stream of curse words escaped him. But not to worry about that now. She was there. "Sam? " he asked quietly as he wiped his hand on his pant leg.
As she closed the gap between them, she glanced over the boy that had caught her eye. She was pretty sure he was taller than her, even from here, but as Dora had pointed out, that wasn't entirely difficult, especially as he was older. There were hints of similarities too, in his features, but she was tentative about reading too much into them. She might have got the wrong person.
His question confirmed that she hadn't, though. She nodded, thoughts of how she was planning to introduce herself quickly abandoning her brain. Instead, she returned the question in kind. "Robin?" Her eyes ran over him once more, trying to read how he felt about this meeting. About the girl who presented herself in front of him.
"I'm sorreh I'm late." It needed saying. "Can I get you another drink?" She'd noticed his glass was nearly empty, though was too distracted to notice the spill.

Juno grinned, "Well, that's nothing new. Did you order already? If not I can go get us something." Juno could tell Esme wasn't very happy. Even though her outside looked happy, her heart wasn't and being this close to her their weird twin thing was telling her that she was really heart broken, so much so Juno's heart was hurting too.
She pushed her sister's hair behind her ear, and grabbed her hand giving it a tight squeeze. She hated when Esme was sad because she was always such a happy bright light in this dark world. When Esme was sad the world seemed darker. But not giving it away, Juno kept a smile on her face.
Juno turned and looked at Leon with a bright smile. "It's ok it happens a lot. One way to tell the difference," she lifted one of her long legs out from under the table, "I always have boots on. Oh, and I am an inch taller even if she is the older one." She stuck her tongue out at her sister.
Why was he still standing? "Are you going to sit down and hang with us or what?" She asked with a chuckle.

So that was a yes then.
Esme was about to tell Leon that he should tell Juno how he felt, but now she didn't have a chance to because her sister was there. She would keep her mouth shut on the matter instead of saying something that ruined it. Maybe she would be able to pick up on it herself.
The hand squeeze was nice and Esme returned it even if she was still sad. Juno was the person who knew knew her the best in the entire world; even if they had different personalities, they had a strong connection and nothing could break it. Unfortunately they couldn't discuss what was on her mind when Leon was around. Not that Esme didn't trust him, but no one knew what was happening besides Juno and that was not about to change. The less people who knew, the better in her opinion.
After sticking her tongue out playfully at the age and height comment, Esme nodded. "Yes, come sit! We haven't ordered yet, but I was thinking of getting macaroni and cheese." One of her favourites!

To be honest the seventh year almost felt like he was intruding on the two girls, it almost seemed like they were having some sort of unspoken sister moment and he wanted to give them some time..
But as they both invited him to sit down. He did so and smiled as Juno spoke about their differences..
Ahhh, so she always wore boots? Leon tilted his head a bit and tried not to admire her legs, but failed miserably.. he pulled his eyes upwards and nodded. "So you are the younger one then? Do you both have the same birthday? " He asked as he tugged on his jacket a bit..
He smiled at them both as they said something about food.
"Do you want anything Juno? " He asked his eyes flying to hers for a moment and again a slightly dazed smile came over his lips as he looked at her.. She was so pretty and cool and smart!
Ahhh.. ohh..
Umm..
Food?
Yes!
"Do you want anything? Food is on me okay? " It was the least he could do.. For interrupting their twin time.. also trying to earn points here, yeah?

Laurel concentrated on not tilting the food tray as she sat it down on the table in front of her cousin. Last thing she wanted was to pick up food off the floor. Returning Justin's hug with a wide beam of her own she said "I've actually missed being called Laurey. All I hear most days is Professor Vance this and Professor Vance that-----". Which was as it should be of course given her chosen profession but you got tired if someone said it too many times during the same day and in quick succession.
Slipping down on a seat opposite her cousin Laurel smiled at the news. "I could scry the future for the baby's gender if you don't want to wait?" She was excited too. Another family member to dot on and give gifts. Taking a bit of fish from off the plate she paused holding it in mid air as she replied "I've been good. Busy with lessons as usual. How about you? Any good grounds gossip?"
Munching on her fish bit she swallowed and shook her head in frustration. "I've been scrying about the dirty castle and but all I get are images that doesnt make sense." For a gifted seer that was highly irritating since she wanted to know what had happened to Flynn most of all.

What were they supposed to do? Hug? Shake hands? Stand awkwardly and stare at one another? This was excruciatingly awkward for the 15 year old. How had he survived this long without having a heart attack or some such!!
Finally deciding that a hand shake would suffice, the boy extended his right hand and offered a crooked smile. "I am, yes. And you're Sam." Obviously. If he wasn't trying to come across as somewhat normal he would have face palmed right then. Ugh. Using his other hand to motion to the seat opposite himself he pulled his own chair back and made to sit. But thought better of it, instead waiting for her to sit first.
"Um. No thanks. It was just water and I seem to have spilt it all anyway. Would you like a beverage?" BEVERAGE? What was wrong with him? Clearing his throat he looked rather embarrassed of himself. Sheesh. "Look... I'm nervous. I don't mean to seem weird... but..."
She had lost track of time. Again. MERLIN she needed a watch. A proper one. It was a problem, it was. Rushing through the door of the pub she paused only long enough to spot Sam and who she was sure to be Robin. Making her way over in a hurried trot she let her eyes sweep over Sam. Well. She was certainly dressed up for the occassion. OH THAT'S RIGHT. She was probably dressed for the date she had conveniently FORGOTTEN to tell Dora about.
HMPH.
She would deal with that later.
Pulling her scarf loose, the Gryffindor made her way straight over and sighed. "I was studying. Lost track of time. I'm Dora Umbridge. YOu must be Robin." No akwardness here! Some angst, maybe... You could call her Queen Saltine at the moment, but here she was. Doing the best friendly thing to do. Yep.
Ah, that was the sound of another Hogsmeade weekend. Hops had never found the store to be busier! Tankards upon tankards of his famous butterbeer were being poured out for all to enjoy, Professors too, it seemed. It was always good to see them out and about. Like seeing a Hippogriff on its hind legs.
Chuckling to himself, Harold picked up a few clean tankards and started putting them away beneath the counter. He was going to need plenty of those if the popularity of this weekend was anything to go by.

Ugh her sister was not happy and it was bringing her mood down even with the gorgeousness that was Leon at the table. But they would talk about it later when they had time to themselves. Right now she needed to entertain both of them and help Esme forget for a few minutes.

Juno grinned mischievously as Leon's eyes lingered on her legs longer than normal. "We don't actually. She was born on February 16th at 11:50 pm and I was born on February 17th at 12:05 am. Very close to having the same birthday though." She gave her sister's hand another gentle squeeze.
Juno pursed her lips, trying not to smile, as he addressed just herself. She was glad he caught himself though. He was such a sweetheart. "Awe that's sweet, thank you! I think we both are wanting mac and cheese. And I would love a Butterbeer. Es, do you want a butterbeer too or something else?" She asked her sister. Hopefully they would have a moment to talk while he went to get the food.

Despite the way that she was feeling currently, Esme was picking up some serious vibes from the people she was with. Well, more from her sister because not only had Leon basically admitted that he had a crush on Juno, but her sister was giving off signals that she felt the same way. It made her feel less sad to think about her sister having a crush on a boy and him returning the feelings. Fingers crossed that they would both pick up on it too because she didn't want to have to say anything about it if it wasn't needed; better if it came from the object of her sister's affections.
It was hard to miss the fact that she hadn't been included in the initial offer of food, but Esme was fine with that. Totally natural. She was not in the least bit offended. Instead she giggled at Juno's growling stomach. "You're always hungry. Just like me." Beam. Looked like they were BOTH getting macaroni and cheese! At least they could agree to that, though when it came to chocolate and vanilla they just couldn't see eye to eye.
Nod as her sister explained that they had different birthdays. "I like it that way. We each get a special day. Of course I love sharing everything with my sister, but birthdays are special!" They DID still do their joint celebration thing though. It was a must! "I'm definitely going to have a butterbeer." How could she not??? It was a must during each Hogsmeade weekend!! Anyway, she was looking forward to Leon going to get the food and drinks so that she could have a moment alone to talk to her sister.
Nothing against him, they just needed sister time!

Leon smiled a bit at Juno as she spoke as he made a mental note of her Birthday! February 16th? It was coming up! Perhaps he could get that tape in time for that and plan a little birthday surprise? The seventh year grinned a bit to himself before nodding as the girls gave their orders!
"Two mac and cheeses and two butter were coming right up. " The grey eyed boy said with a warm smile as he looked over at Juno with a smile. He was grateful that she and Esme were letting him stay and hang out, but he didn't want to interupt their twin time!
"I'll be back. " He said with an easy grin as he ran a hand through his hair and then turned and headed off to order the food for them all!

Juno felt the sudden realization that Esme was having and blushed just a smidge. Yep, twin connection still functioning. She couldn't help it. He was just so....*sighs*......Juno decided to focus on what her sister was saying. She giggled, "Well duh, we have dad's appetite." She giggled more. Juno and Esme could eat a lot and were always hungry for something.
They had a few traditions for their birthdays. It was always fun. "Of course we have our little secret tradition too. We get two cupcakes and two candles. I sing to her at her birthday time, and she sings to me at mine." She grinned and looked over at her sister with all the love she could muster, and gave her hand a squeeze. She giggled again, "Of course you need to have a butterbeer!" She gave her sister a wink and turned to Leon.
Juno gave Leon her brightest smile. He was so sweet to even offer to pay for their food. At least this would give Juno and Esme a moment to have a conversation. "Thank you so much, Leon. You're the best!" She sent him a wink as he walked off to order their food.
She then turned back to Esme, "How are you Es? I know this is so difficult for you. I kinda want to punch Oliver in the throat." Which was saying a lot because she was friends with him too. She hated that her sister was going through all of this and that both of their busy schedules prevented them from seeing each other much.
