Roscoe and Bumi are my highly-trained rescue Newfoundland dogs. Both are classified as working dogs, and are exceptionally good at pulling and carrying heavy objects. Aside from their breed, both are very friendly, watchful, alert, and are good swimmers. Roscoe and Bumi have saved at least a hundred lives during our stay in Brazil, whenever I took a break in one of Brazil’s pristine beaches; they are the perfect Healer’s companion! Both however are drool offenders, so it is best to wear something you don’t mind getting wet. While Bumi is fond of anything turkey, Roscoe favours steak and beef. If you don’t mind getting your turkey sandwich devoured...or cheeseburgers nicked by these two, make sure to keep them in a safe place, or better yet pack an extra five or ten of your lunch for them, that is if you don’t mind sharing. And do you all want to know a secret? They like to dress up in style whenever they are temporarily not being trained by me. If fashion and tea parties are your thing, these two are up for the task! Just don’t tell them I told you.

OOC:
1. You may RP for Roscoe and/or Bumi while your character is with them, provided that no serious injuries will happen to the dogs or your character. This is due to the fact that they are still the property of Healer Reed, meaning, we always have the final say to their actions. Keep in mind that they are highly-trained and experienced rescue dogs so there will be no biting, mauling, etc. from them. Nipping may happen (of course), should your character display highly annoying behaviour towards them, or your character trying to harm them in any way. Note that the latter is frowned upon by the majority, so please RP this bit in moderation and with caution.

2. Please copy, paste, and fill up the form below IC and post it here. Take note that SS Rules are also in effect when you and your character sign up the form;

3. The validity of the permission form is good up until your RP session is over (which could take days, week, even months OOC-wise). Should your character wish to take them out again in a different time frame/setting, please fill up another form and submit it here.* This is for me to monitor the whereabouts of River’s dogs;

4. You do not have to go to Healer Reed’s office to return/retrieve Roscoe and/or Bumi. Just include in your RP that your character returned to/retrieved them from their owner. Just sign up the form and you’re good to go;

5. Have a fantastic time with the two! And don’t forget to give them treats!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• The dog(s) of Healer Reed shall be treated with utmost care at all times;
• They are not to be taken to the Forbidden Forest as “companion(s)”;
• They can be taken out for a swim in the lake, provided that the handler can / know how to swim, otherwise the dog(s) are off-limits in the lake to swim, for safety reasons;
• In the event that the dog(s) urinate indoors or defecate indoors/outdoors during their walk, the handler must clean up after them with a Vanishing Spell. Should the handler be too young to perform the spell, said student shall take with him/her the provided disposable gloves and plastic bags for cleaning;
• Students may take the dog(s) to their dormitories for a maximum of one night, provided that they will feed and water him/them on time;
• If Roscoe and/or Bumi are not to be taken overnight, the dog(s) must be returned to Healer Reed after each walk. Do not leave them lying around the school unattended;
• Students and Professors should contact Healer River Reed immediately, should something happen to Roscoe and/or Bumi while under their watch.
