High Street is the main street of Hogsmeade, from which you can access all its most famous shops. This particular street connects to several narrow streets and alleyways due to how the shops are laid out. Some of these passages will take you to other shops and even the residential area of the village. Stay on this path until the very end, past Dervish and Banges, and you will find yourself coming to a stop at a stile that faces the mountain beyond.
It is not common for those who are people-watching in the benches next to the street lamps to see large numbers of students and adults ambling up and down the pavement and peering into shop windows on High Street. After all, this is the most popular place you can meet up with your friends before heading over to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer, running off with a mischievous grin to Zonko's, or entering Honeydukes with your mouth already watering.

Her smile turned into a smirk and the boy's knees almost buckled from the rush of...feelings (?)-- whatever it was she was making him feel. See, this was all kinds of firsts for Cornelius O. Slowly, eyes still on hers, his fingers slipped between hers and he held her hand, and gave it a gentle squeeze. He could do that now. He could do these things without his conscience nagging at him. Without worrying if she'd mind or if he'd embarrass her.
That look on her face, it had the boy grinning. He dropped a kiss on the tip of her nose. "You're cute."
The grin only grew. "Y'know, I think this heart of mine likes you, too." Haha. Goof. Cornelius paused, pursed his lips and hummed as if he was thinking of the answer to his own question, and took another step towards her so their shoes touched. "Thaaaat...I...should bear hug the prettiest girl in the laaaand!" And with that he let go of her hand, wrapped his arms around her waist and SWOOOPED her up and spun them around.
Azura's smirk turned into a wide grin as Cornelius spoke and she nodded. "Practice does indeed make perfect, however I don't want to practice on your valuable hands.." She said with a soft smile. " Don't worry though! I'll be good enough to put you together if you need me during quidditch. " She said with a grin.. Yeah she was gently alluding to a future.. but making it more about the present.. Just in case he decided he wanted to bolt..
Not that she thought he would.. but she would leave the option there for him..
She pushed those thoughts away though, so much had happened in her life lately for the better, she had a brother! Her step-dad was back, her mom was better and starting work again.. Cornelius! She didn't need to be worried about being abandoned!
Especially now as his fingers interlocked with hers and his green eyes looked into her purple ones.
She suddenly forgot how to breathe! Or think!
She was completely and totally lost in his eyes right now and she didn't even care!
Though perhaps she should work on the breathing thing, yeah?
Though his nose kiss didn't help the her problem and she melted against him, glad there was a wall and him to help hold her up. "Thanks. " She whispered softly as he spoke again and she grinned..
"Well good, perhaps we should do something about them? Let them hang out sometimes? " She said with a soft grin before giggling a bit as he seemed to think about what he wanted to tell her!
And then his words and actions had her giggling moreeee! And she hung onto him as he spun her around laughing all the while!

Looking down, she gasped. It was a unicorn charm bracelet. "Thank you so much, Olly. I love it. It's perfect! You remembered that unicorns are my favourite." Now she was about to melt into a puddle and it was all his fault!

Azura felt her heart start to melt as Cornelius replied to her, he hasn't shot down her hint and in fact returned with one of her own. For a moment there might have been some wetness glittering in her eyes, or perhaps it was just her happiness sparkling there?
"Well there is no law that says I can't be your personal Healer. " She said with a warm melty grin as she heard him talk about the life of a beater.. "Well I am prepared for it.. I have a background in healing and in potion making.. No worries. " Her mother had been a chaser before she became a healer so.. she knew what to expect!
She smirked at him a little though as he wiggled his eyebrows at her and she grinned and poked him in the stomach a bit.. "I'm tougher than I look. "
Said the girl whose idea of being reckless was going snowboarding... and her idea of being mean was throwing banana nut muffins at someone.
She was grateful for his arms though because her knees completely failed her and she was now holding onto his arms because woooo melty Azzybear over here.
Her giggles kept coming though as he spun her and she smiled at his nickname for her. "I'm glad to hear it my Knight Corn Pop. " She said as he set her down and held her close..
"Yeah? My heart is saying it's having an amazing time right now too. " And it was,, now if only her body could get the memo and make her legs work again yeah?

Would she stop with the adorable? Actually, no. He rather liked it. It made him smile and forget the problems that plagued him. Adorable but he knew she could pack up a punch if she really, REALLY wanted to. "I believe that," he said, nodding earnestly. "If I remember correctly you yelled at me at this exact same spot a few months ago for being a jerk." He nodded solemnly, then broke out into another grin. "It was feisty. Rawr." And he likey.
Cornelius held her tightly and rubbed his nose against hers, swaying just a bit. They were silly. Speaking for their hearts. That was actually pretty deep. Not often did others speak of what lay in their hearts. As it was, Cornelius wore his on his sleeve.
"And to make it bettttter, how about we go buy some sweets?" Were her legs still soggy? "You can piggy back ride to the shop." Two great offers in one day!

So Noelle had literally been marking down the days until this weekend. Not only were her and Noah going on a date outside the castle, but Noelle was seeing one of her favorite people.

She missed her older sister. Not blood related but in Noelle's eyes, there was no difference. Their families had become connected over their friendship so they all got along splendidly. She'd even not corrected people when they thought she was her true sister. Oh well.
But Noelle was going to be able to see her today. And her siblings. Despite the cold, she was perched up on high street, waiting to see them. They hadn't really gotten specifics on where they were supposed to meet. So Noelle was hanging out and not pacing the snowy street
Plans had to be made before Hady was able to make it to Hogsmeade to meet up with Noelle her not such a baby anymore sister. There was assignments for Uni she had to complete, make sure she was able to get the day off of interning at the zoo, check with Frankie that he didn't have plans for them and then arrange to pick up her baby siblings. There was also the matter of making sure all the animals she had at the apartment were cared for and that the band didn't want to get together today.
With everything taken care of and their meeting time quickly approaching the brunette had scooped up the toddlers having picked them up earlier and made her way to Hogsmeade. Reaching High Street with a set of two year old's left whom were surprisingly being very calm for the moment Hady glanced around for Noelle. It wasn't long before she spotted her and with a small smirk she knelt down and placed the little ones on the ground. "Go get her..." she whispered softly to the toddlers pointing at Noelle. "Hey Elle lookout!" Hady called out to the younger girl her usual grin on her face as she nodded at the two little ones that were currently hurrying towards their other 'big sister' with shouts of "Elle! Elle!"

She leaned against him a bit as he spoke and nodded at her and she laughed a little, "Ahhh yeah, and then you punched a wall, and kissed me if I recall correctly. " She said with a soft giggle.. "So apparently my anger makes people want to kiss me? " She laughed a little as she looked up at him. "Ohhh and do we like me fiesty? " She asked him with a gentle poke before smiling as he rubbed their noses together..

She remembered when they were born.
Noelle was not going to put her two love monkeys down so she headed down the snowy street to meet with Hady. She grinned way too wide. "Hady-belle!!!" She greeted, unsure how to hug her big sister. "How are you?? Why do you look so grown?" Again.. she was acting like an old woman.

It was as Olly suspected. Esme did have plans with her sister but he didn’t mind. It did, however, made him feel great when she invited him to hang out with them. “As long as I’m not intruding, I’d like that.’’ It would be great to see Juno again and to see this guy that could potentially be her boyfriend. “I haven’t seen Juno since I left Hogwarts. It’ll be good to catch up with her.’’ Though he’d only be there to spend time with Esme.
Esme’s reaction made him grin like an idiot. The shyness had vanished in an instant. “Of course I remembered. I remember everything about you.’’ Damn. He had really said that out aloud. Why on earth would Olly think he could ever intrude? "Oh, no! I want you to come." Esme would be sad if he didn't, but she would have understood. It was a good think that he seemed to be interested in her offer. This would be fun and then Juno would know Olly properly after all that she had been told about him. "Yes, I think so! Maybe you two can be friends." Even if her sister didn't socialize that much; something she had in common with Olly.
He was being so sweet to her. Esme was so touched that he had remembered things about her and had thought to get her a really nice present. It made her feel so happy and appreciated. "That means a lot to me," she said before giving him a kiss. She had wanted to do that for a couple months now and hoped he wouldn't be offended by it. "I promise I won't," she added with a laugh.

Standing on one side of the street and looking around, Regina wasn't actually sure what she wanted to do while she was in Hogsmeade. She didn't need any new quills or parchment right now - might've overstocked a bit too much the last time they had a weekend here. She didn't need any new clothes or a haircut. She didn't need any of...whatever Dervish and Banges sold. She definitely did not need or want anything from Zonko's. And candy wasn't really something she needed right now. So...
That basically left the dining places? Aside from the Hog's Head, because Regina Mae Amstern was not going there any time soon.
A butterbeer might be nice though. It'd be a lot more fun with a friend too, but she hadn't thought to invite anyone here with her before today. So...
Should she wait around and hope she'd find someone to get a butterbeer with? Or should she just get one herself and head back to Hogwarts? There was no point in staying in Hogsmeade if she was going to be bored... She did still have the next chapter in The Standard Book of Spells Grade 1 to read for homework... Hm....

A bright smile was given to Noelle before the little girl went about checking to see where her 'other' big sister was. A head of brown hair was laid upon her shoulder where he'd happily remain if Noelle was up to holding him for that long, Lukas was a big cuddle-bug as much as he was a rough and tumble little boy.
Hadleigh could be heard laughing as well as she made her way over to the three of them through the snow. "Elle, lookit you!" she grinned looking her friend and baby sis over. "Every time I see you it feels like forever has gone by!" This girl before her needed to stop growing up! Clearly she wasn't the only one thinking along those lines and found herself laughing again. "Well I am in Uni now AND I do live in my own apartment (with Frankie) AND I do intern/work at Scamander Zoo...sooooo I'm not that young teen you remember from Hogwarts." Changes were happening for her and with each one that happened she grow up just that little bit more.

The L Squared Twins needed to quit growing up so fast too. Gosh. Her baby sister did too. They were like leaves! Noelle had no problem in spoiling them with love and kisses though. The cuties.
She kept one on each hip as she adjusted herself to talk with Hady. "I need to take Lukas and Luna to the zoo one day when youre working. Have them see the animals and to see you work." She glanced in between her at the twins. "What do you think? Like that idea?" She asked with a grin to each of them.
' So how is it living with Frankie? Is it weird? Does he do weird boy stuff?" Noelle asked, adjusting Lukas on one of her hips. She figured they wouldn't stand here forever and start making their way to a destination soon enough.

I mean, I did speak a few times to her before but since I didn’t usually talk to a lot of persons…” If he remembered right, Juno was the same as well. But he wanted to talk of Esme right now. “Did you get a unicorn for your birthday as yet?’’ he asked as a joke.
Olly was completely caught off guard by the kiss. He went completely still for a moment then touched the spot where Esme had kissed him. That cheek felt considerably warm now. It took at his self control not to kiss her back- on the lips. Because that’s what he wanted to do… kiss her. He smiled happily, realising he was not feeling the least bit shy. But what did the kiss mean? Was it simply one to show her appreciation? Did she have a crush on him?
Genny held her bag of candy (the yearly ritual she did once Hogsmeade weekend came) dangling from her hand as she strolled down the main street. It was beautiful out, not as warm as she liked it to be but nice enough for her to wear three layers and transform into a human potato. To make things worse, it was Valentine's and half the shops had red decorations outside their signs or doors or windows, it looked terrible because it wasn't the red Gryffindors represented.

The last short-live crush she had was Frankie, their former Head Boy, but that lasted for a couple of months and then he graduated and the feeling faded quickly. He probably shouldn't have done it and now he felt really really bad, but the fourth year was in a panic now that it had happened. He was searching frantically through the streets. Where was she, where was she! The professor might have his head if he didn't find her. Maybe Hogsmeade wasn't the place to take her when he was just training her. It probably didn't help that the professor didn't really know Benton was training a niffler from the stables either.
Looking up he noticed someone coming up the street. Taking longer strides he got closer. "Excuse me, you don't have anything shiny on you do you?" Weird question he knew but Penelope took off with all his shiny before something caught her eye. Maybe, just maybe if someone else had something they could find her.

Mentioning the zoo where she interned immediately got the attention of the little brown hair toddlers. Hady had taken them there once over the summer to show them all the creatures and to really start their love of animals like her own. "YES!" came the instant reply along with excited bouncing and bright smiles. "I think they like that idea," Hadleigh laughed nodding her head in agreement. "Let me know when you want to come that way I can tell you where I'll be." Having been there six plus months now she had been bounced around from building to building learning about almost all the creatures housed there. So it varied from day to day, week to week on where she would be.
"It's amazing. He basically let me design our entire department just so there wasn't anything to 'girly' or pink around." The brunette laughed remembering the fun she had had in decoration their apartment and the teasing she had done on Frankie's part when she had purposely turned things pink. "It was a little bit strange at first but it was easy to get used really." At least she had thought so. Maybe them having gone on that month long vacation together right before had been a learning experience in what it would be like spending each day together. "Honestly, I love it and I wouldn't trade it for anything." Glancing up and down the snow covered pavement Hady began walking towards their destination because who wanted to stand outside in the cold all day, especially with two young kids, not this girl.
"Want me to take one of them from you?" Carrying those two would take a toll on Noelle if she did it for long enough.

Yay! He was joining them! Esme was happier than ever now because Olly didn't feel like he would be intruding on them. "Wonderful! I know, but you always spoke to me." She was going to help him. This was great, she didn't even ask any questions. She just started looking. Handing over her bag Benton held it tightly and watched her as she looked around. Of course, the boy couldn't help but let his eyes go to the bag she had given him. Candy! Now he was distracted but he would never take any. He made mental notes of everything he needed to buy, though.
What did he need the shiny for, could she be trusted? Would she run to the professors? Benton had never been in trouble and never broke rules. He was a good boy. "I.. well." He looked around the street before leaning closer. "I'm training the Nifflers and I thought this would be a good chance to practice with Penelope and well she ran away from me." He looked around the busy street. "She has to be here somewhere and if you have something shiny I'm sure she'll come running."
