Besides the fact that this waiting room is exceptionally spotless at all times this is the only sign that it is indeed the same room as the previous Healers was. The walls are a beautiful soft calming shade of blue and one wall is lined with black arm chairs charmed for your added comfort. The wall right behind the chairs has been painted to look like an underwater theme containing lots of fish, turtles, a shark and plant life. Across from where you're seated there is also a very large fish taking up most of the wall which holds many real types of fish. If you're not into looking at fish there are two small end tables which hold some books and magazines for you to look at while you wait.
Also don't forget to sign in on the book on the table near where you came in.

A few days after Art noticed his knees playing up, they still hadn't improved. It was a bit of a worry, because he didn't want to be getting arthritis. The 61-year-old had tried everything he had on stock to help, and although he had relief, he wanted something a bit... more. Even though he was a trained healer, he didn't have all of the necessary equipment or ingredients, or even ready-made potions or balms, plus his training had never seen him care for joints. It was more of a lab position. As such, he was most fortunate that Hogwarts had a healer. Thus, it was time for him to make a visit to the hospital wing.

Joy didn't have a bell to ring or a chime that sounded when someone entered the hospital wing and needed her attention. She had something else. That little book waiting to be filled out on the desk near the door was charmed to make a small sound each time someone filled it out. The sound was connected to a bracelet which she always had on her wrist. So as it was the moment Art filled out his name she knew. Filing away another potion in her book room Joy made her way out into her waiting room. "Art, hello. Is everything alright?" she asked at the same time picking up the notebook and reading it over. "Right this way, lets see what we can do." She gestured towards the area where the first bed was located. OOC: You can now post here Quote:

Jasper wasn't sure what had gone on. He'd felt tired the night before and woke up feeling half dead, though that might have been super melodramatic. Either way, he was sick and there was probably a potion that would make him feel better in 0.0002 seconds. It was one of the benefits of not being a muggle.
He was still in his pyjamas when he wandered into the Hospital wing, sneezing violently the moment he wandered in.
Was he even wearing shoes?

Nope. He'd forgotten those in his half-asleep attempt at getting there. The moment the young boys information had been entered into the notebook a small ringing noise was heard. Joy stopped what she was doing and made her way out to the waiting area a warm friendly smile on her face. The very first thing she saw was that the boy had on his pajamas still and was bare foot!
Oh, no no, this was no good. He wouldn't get himself well in this state. "Come along, my dear, lets get you into a bed," Joy whispered softly gently ushering Jasper into the nearest available bed so that he can get some rest. Hazel eyes quickly scanned over the notebook page before she followed. Best to have an idea what she might be dealing with here. "Go on and lay down."

Sabbath was in a mind to give something back. Coming from a family who makes their living through music professionally, and having sought solace through his music on so many occasions, he thought maybe someone stuck in hospital might appreciate the benefit of it's healing effects... so guitar in hand, he enters the nurses waiting room and quietly looks around. He takes a seat near the fish tank and waits patiently for her... he has heard, she is quite the looker. Quote:

Going through her stock of potions and creams for the winter months Joy had her hands full when the small ringing went off in her office signaling the arrival of someone. Picking up a quill and jotting down one last note least she forgot where she had gotten to in her inventory. When she was finished with that she set her quill down and exited her office.
The healer took in the teen boy sitting near the fish tank. On first glance he didn't appear to be sick in anyway but Joy knew first hand how looks could be deceiving. Picking up the book off the small table and quickly checking to see what had been noted. The boy wasn't sick. That was good. "Hello Sabbath, I'm Healer Joy. What can I do for you today?" she asked softly. If he wasn't sick he must be here for another reason. | |

Paige wasn't exactly dragging her feet, but she also wasn't keen on going to see the Healer under these circumstances. She had other purposes for coming to visit her, purposes that she had had to put on the back burner for a little because of her studies and applications had pushed the thought all the way to the back of her mind, and she wished that she could look at this situation as 'glass half-full' and make it a two fwoopers out of one stone scenario...but she was feeling a bit too mortified to consider that at the moment.

And now to wait. Joy was very close by when the doors to her hospital wing opened and in entered not one but two students and a Professor. This instantly had the women's attention and the changing of the color on the walls was forgotten. She did that every now and then to give the area a fresh new look and seem more inviting.
Walking towards them she smiled warmly, picking up the sign-in book to read over what had been written there. Oh my, a spell gone wrong. Well alright then it wasn't anything she couldn't handle. Setting the book down Joy's attention turned fully onto Paige. "If you would like to have a sit in the first room I'll get you all fixed up and your friend can come along as well, unless he has a lesson to return to?" With a nod of her hand and a hand gesture she showed the girl to the room. "Get as comfortable as you like. Is there any discomfort or pain at all?" If there was she could give a potion to deal with that first.

Walking into the hospital wing from the freezing cold hallways, Jonas was greatfull for the warmth that the hospital wing offered. Clutching his hurt arm, he signed the book with his right hand. Thankfully it was his left arm and not his right arm. When he was done, he sat down and waited...his arm seemed to be hurting more now that it got exposed to the cold air and stuff. When he was done, he sat down and waited clutching his arm to his side.

When he was done, he sat down and waited clutching his arm to his side. There went the dinging around the office again. Healer Joy set down the container of fish food she had in her hand and exited her office. Her eyes fell upon the young boy cradling his arm close to his chest. Broken wrist possibly was the first thought that entered the women's head. Glancing at the sign-in book it was easily confirmed that the child was injured. There was a strange noise coming towards her wing. No, nope wait.
The strange noise was IN her hospital wing. What in the world was that?! Joy rose from her seat in her office at the same moment the young boy burst into the hospital shouting at the top of his lungs. Dear Merlin it was a good thing she didn't have any children in here asleep or he would sure be getting a piece of her mind right then.
Her warm hazel eyes laid sight on him taking in every inch of him to see that he appeared to be in one piece minus that contraption he was riding in her hospital wing. An emergency had he said? Where? What was happening?
Joy's eyes quickly dropped to her sign-in book glancing at the few words there. "Thank you, I'm on my way and please be careful with that...that thing..." she replied gesturing to his hooverboard. Accidents on the moving stairs involving more then one person. This couldn't be good. The women was already pulling out her wand and casting 'accio' bringing a bag of supplies straight to her before rushing out. "You may accompany me back there or continue on to do whatever it was you had been doing Tenacius." It was up to him seeing as he wasn't harmed at all. | |
