The Treehouse

http://i1026.photobucket.com/albums/...psii7unf1p.png
Since it's first discovery in the 2050s, the treehouse has maintained its presence throughout the years with upkeep and improvements thanks to the many Groundskeepers. A massive tree houses a wooden fort that sits high up in its branches. A rope ladder automatically descends down upon approach. Once inside you are greeted with a spacious place to lounge, much larger than the exterior leads on.

Whether you choose to bird watch, study or simply relax with friends, this place makes it easier with the mini fridge that refills with cool beverages, thanks to Mr. McLeod. If you happen to slip, don't worry, you are greeted with a bouncing charm on the ground keeping you safe and free to climb back up again.

Open post for anyone.

It wasn't her treehouse that she, her brother and father had built in their back yard or the one that Cornelius had hid out in over of the summer. This is treehouse was her home away from home treehouse. Her study spot, her hide out since her first year, Today it was her lunch spot.

The third year had bought out her lunch from the great hall to here. For some reason Katerina thought that some fresh air would do her some reason. She levitated her plate up to the top, then she climbed up the rope. She sat with her legs hanging off the side, Lunch time with a view. It wasn't a french riviera, but it was great.

For Dani/Blaise

Alice had slipped Blaise a note telling him to meet her in the tree house at this time. They needed to think about their play and how they would do things. Would the treehouse be big enough for a stage and room or an audience? Alice wasn't so sure looking at it.

True the treehouse was massive but how many people would want to see this play? If it was just a few sure this would work. But on the off chance that half the school was interested than no, this wouldn't suit their needs.

For Robyn/Echo

Colt finally made his way to one of his favorite locations, the tree house. It was the afternoon just about. He meant to come here after the feast but he was too stuffed and tired to do anything. As he neared the treehouse... man he forgot how much he missed it here at Hogwarts. He missed the open fresh air and this tree house also had an awesome view. He saw others made it here too. He climbed on up and wanted to get a good spot.

Once he reached a good spot with a beanbag on it, he sat there and relaxed. He took in the silence while snacking on chocolate frogs he managed to get from the great hall.

Having finished her lunch early and with nothing else to do, Kay thought a bit of sunshine would do her well. It was for that reason that she had taken a stroll on the ground. There had been another reason as well. She was hoping to try a new course for her morning runs with Marsha. The woman reckoned she found one and had made a mental note to point it out to the girl later.

Soon, she found her feet taking her towards the Treehouse. Not hesitating, the Professor climbed up. She expected it to be somewhat crowded and was surprised to see it wasn't really. "Why, hello, Ms Delgado! I hope I'm not interrupting you.'' Would she mind company or no? Kay wouldn't be offended if she didn't.

He hadn't been up to much since the school year started, in fact with it only being a few days into the new term, Blaise could say he'd done very little to nothing at all and for as long as he could help it, things would stay that way--save when it came to that play he was planning with Alice which brought him to the treehouse on such a fair afternoon.

The boy climbed his way up the rope ladder, figuring she'd already be there. On the way up, he couldn't help thinking what a shame it was Clara didn't want him talking about Alice. Meant she wouldn't want to be a part of the play which was the real shame. Merlin knew she was dramatic enough without prompting. She'd have played any part well enough.

"I come bearing gifts." He announced, popping his head in before hauling up the rest of himself. His quill and notepad floated in behind him in short order, ready for whatever the documented task would be. The small basket in his hand was plopped to the floor and he gestured for her to help herself to the many things the elves had packed in there. "Thought we could use some food while we work." He remembered how much she liked food.

For some reason Echo knew that colt would be down here. Over the summer they have become really close friends. No more tention. Spotting him in his favorite spot she made her way over. Plopping down beside him with the air rushing out of thr bean bag chair "heyyyyyy. How was your train ride?" the train was so large that she didn't get to see him on the train.

Alice grinned when she saw him. It was nice to see friendly faces and she hadn't made her rounds to all of her friends yet. She'd been feeling lazy in the days following the feast. "Ohhh my favorite kind of gifts." The redhead did indeed help herself to some snacks and eyed the floating quill a bit. It was smart of Blaise to have but it didn't make it any less weird.

"So, i was thinking it might be a little small for what we need." Alice looked around and walked to the other end of the tree house. "We don't know how many people are going to show up. So that makes it hard to figure out how much space to account for." She tapped her chin and then looked back at him. "What do you think? Still want to use the RoR for rehearsals?" It only made sense really.

As Colt was laying back in his beanbag, he heard a familiar voice. He opened one eye and saw it was Echo. He chuckled and rolled his eyes playfully of course. "I should have known you would visit me.." he smirked. "The train ride was pretty good. Saw people I wanted to see ya know." He saw Dora which was awesome and his other friends. He wasn't much in the mood to chat though, he wanted to draw. "I was flicking chocolate frogs out the window though.." he shrugged. It seemed like a tradition as he was told by his cousins. "I did meet this one rather hyperactive boy though..I can't remember his name.." Not for the life of him.

For anyone

Genny fed her owl in the Owlry and made her way down to the Lake. The weather was still nice and she wanted to get advantage of the sun while it lasted. The Treehouse was her usual destination, she always came her when she had no other duty or homework or any obligations to go somewhere else. She even carved her name on one of the columns up here during her first year.

Now, she sat down on the edge, easily swinging her legs off and just enjoying the view with hunched shoulders because that was how much relaxed she was.

While she spoke, Blaise looked about the treehouse, judging for size and the amount of workable space. It wouldn't be a fair assessment in the moment but her words had peaked his interest. "We'll still rehearse in the Room of Requirements." He decided, still looking over every inch of the spacious inside. "Just because we can change the space in there as needed without having to draw a wand and it'll give us a set til we've made one."

Finally getting an eyeful, the Fourth Year went to plop down next to Alice and the basket of snacks. "But I still think we'll have the performance here...for aethestic and stuff." On the walk over he'd already seen it in his head. They would decorate the path leading the treehouse, it would be magical.....in the none icky sense of the word. "If we need more space we'll have a Professor extend the place further, like we said we would." But this was definitely the place. Yup.

Alice listened to her words. Something she learned in her acting classes was to know when not to argue with a director and at the moment Blaise was her director. If she had a vision it was her job to help it come true. "Okay, what kinda decorations did you have in mind?" She asked and chewed on one of the snacks in the basket.

"We still need a proper script and did you ever find someone to play Helena?" She needed to find their Salazar. There was quite a bit on their docket but she knew it wouldn't all get done right away. They also needed a reasonable goal for when their play should open. But maybe a script was more important.

Ham sandwich... It was like she was having a picnic. Here uown little picnic in the treehouse. This was nice. The Hufflepuff was even thinking about getting some studying done while she was out here. But food. Food was the most important thing right now, Katerina sneaked TWO pieces of the chocolate cake in her bag from the great hall. She was going to have to start joining Cornelius when he did his training. Or start her own training with Ava and Noelle so they could all go to camp together next summer.

She finished her sandwich and when straight to the cake. Well she was getting to it she heard someone coming and hid the other piece. Yet that was hers. Sorry not sorry. Hufflepuff or not this was chocolate cake. That meant serious business. Her blue eyes watched as she see the source of noise of someone coming. Oh it was just a Professor. "Hello Professor Stewart. No I'm just having lunch out here." She said with a smile. That was okay right? She was allowed to eat in the tree house. Mr. McLeod allowed outside food in here, yes. "Want to join me?" She only had the other piece of cake and she was sure that the professor didn't bring her own food. She really wanted to enjoy her cake now so like the nice Hufflepuff she was. Katerina offered the professor her other piece of the chocolate cake.

The treehouse was one of Henry's favorite places to visit during nicer weather, though that probably could be said of almost anything that was out of doors. He did enjoy going outside and really anything that he could do while out there pretty much was considered a good time.

Sometimes he went there to have water balloon fights when the weather was the warmest, but today he decided to take a snack up there and maybe just hang out. He figured there might be a few students hanging around with school just starting and he was usually up for some company. Heading towards the treehouse carrying a basket of fruits and vegetables, with a few cookies thrown in for good measure, he spotted Genny sitting up on the edge.

"Hey, Genny!" he waved with his free hand, shooting his friend a grin as he looked up at her from the ground. "Whatcha doing up there?" He was about to head up himself.

Excellent! Kat didn't mind her company. Smiling, Kay sat beside her student. It may be a a weird sight, professor and student sitting like this but the woman frankly believed that she got through better to students both during and out of lessons if her students were comfortable with her. She believed in getting to know them though she would always keeps things at a professional level.

"Thank you for letting me join you, Ms Delgado. I just had lunch and decided to come out for a walk.'' But wasn't Kat so sweet? "Why thank you! I think I'll have half of this if it's okay with you. I had a big lunch.'' There was always from for chocolate cake, however. Always.

"Have you had a great start to your third year?'' This was an important year, after all, since students decided which classes they went forward with from their fourth year.

"I'm thinking blue bell flames to line the path, both so people can see in case we decide on an after dinner show and because even an evening show would look nice with them." Something else that would need to be figured out. Sometimes students were allowed to put on things on the grounds in the late evening, yeah? "Who d'you think we'll need to ask for permission to put on something like this?" It had just occurred to him that in all their planning, unless this took place in the Room of Requirements, they really would be needing staff approval...and maybe even supervision.

Funny how easily he'd overlooked something like that before now. The boy grabbed a cupcake from the basket, spinning it a time or two as he tried to work that out. It would be the Headmaster most likely and he already had regular meetings with the man. Couldn't be too hard to find time to ask him. Or maybe their....their....he still didn't accept it but Professor Newton was set in charge of them now. Perhaps he was the one that needed asking.

"I still think Paige would make for a good Helga." For reasons he'd outlined over the summer. "I asked her and she seemed keen enough so I think with the exception of Salazar Slytherin, we've figured out the main cast." Which reminded him. "How's that going?"

Sazzles and anyone else who wants to play!

As soon as Rosalyn had heard about the treehouse that they now had at Hogwarts, there was no way that she was going to give up the opportunity to check it out. Especially not when a lot of her happiest childhood memories was playing with her brothers in the one that they had in their backyard. She really missed that treehouse... Besides, even Professors could have fun and she was definitely not too old for climbing and exploring. Just so long as she wore proper clothing because it would be a shame to damage her heels and nice outfits. Also there was the danger factor.

Making her way up the rope ladder slowly, she eventually reached the top. It was rather surprising to see that the treehouse wasn't crowded because she had half-expected to see a bunch of students hanging out. Hopefully some would arrive soon - or at least one of her colleagues. It would be interesting to see Uncle Art hanging out in here. Maybe they could have a tea party!

Kimi had seen the treehouse when he first came out to the grounds and he knew that he just had to explore it and after he finished climbing the rope ladder he saw that one of the professors was up here as well and said "Hello there Professor" Kimi just wanted to be friendly and meet all the professors

Gaston had never been to this part of the grounds before! All he could do was stare at the treehouse looming in front of him in awe for a few moments. Such beautiful craftsmanship! He would've loved to have one of these when he was a child, but treehouses were one of the many things his overprotective muggle parents didn't allow. He was so distracted that he almost forgot the reason he'd come here: his cat Phantom had run away from him and he thought he saw her come this way. Well so much for a nice relaxing stroll around the grounds!

His eyes darted in all directions until he finally saw a black and white furball casually sitting at the base of the tree. "There you are!" he said, shaking his head disapprovingly. "I hope you've enjoyed the extra exercise..." The cat's yellow eyes turned to him for a split second as he drew closer, but the moment he reached for her, she scaled the nearest tree limb. Gaston scoffed. "Phantom, get back down here!" He was beginning to lose his patience. "NOW!" His words had absolutely no effect... the cat just gave a taunting meow in reply as she jumped onto the rail surrounding the treehouse.

He sighed. Why in Merlin's name was his cat being so difficult today?! She was usually so well-behaved. There was only one thing to do now... He drew his wand, but before he could cast the spell to levitate her down, Phantom dashed inside. Well there goes that idea... there was no telling how many people were in there, and he wasn't about to risk hitting someone with his spell!

Great... now he had to climb up after her! Gaston carefully scaled the ladder and entered the treehouse to find Phantom sitting in front of him, looking satisfied with herself. Ha, I've got you now! he thought, but the cat sped off in the opposite direction in a black and white blur. He turned to follow his pet and suddenly crashed into someone. "Oh, my -! I'm so sorry! Are you alright?" he said without checking to see who he ran into.

When he saw who it was, he took an automatic step back, his blue eyes growing wide and panic-stricken as he stood frozen to the spot as if he'd just been petrified by a basilisk. "Rosalyn..." he gasped. Of all the people he could've run into, why did it have to be her? He hated that she saw him like this... his hair falling into his eyes, his tie askew, and worst of all, his left sleeve had inched up enough to reveal the burn scar on his arm. He quickly held his arm behind his back, hoping she hadn't seen.

"I-I'm sorry... My cat... I..." he stammered once he'd found his voice, frantically trying to fix his hair and adjust his tie. It was only then that he noticed there was a student here too. Merlin, how could things get any worse?! "Hello, Mr. Kovalainen," he greeted the Hufflepuff boy. "Sorry for all the fuss. It seems my cat has decided to run away from me." He glared pointedly at the annoying animal as he turned away, hoping to leave before he could make an even bigger fool of himself. "Never mind, I can always come back to get her later..."

Henry smiled back as Genny noticed him, and he shielded his eyes from the sun as he looked up at her. He was planning on going up to the treehouse too and he hoped she wouldn't mind his company. He figured she wouldn't, but it was the polite thing to do to ask. Plus he was willing to share his snacks.

But as it were, he didn't need to ask because she invited him to join her. "Oh, sure! I was actually on my way up anyway.. I brought some snacks," he added with a grin. Mostly healthy ones, but he really didn't know what kinds of things Genny liked to eat anyway. Maybe she'd find something she'd like in his basket. Or maybe she'd want something healthier anyway since he thought of her as an athletic person. Well, he'd find out soon enough.

Once the rope ladder descended for him, Henry looped the basket handle around his arm and started the climb up. "Great day to be outside, yeah?"

Sureee... it wasnt like he could read minds. "oh what ever Colt" she tossed a small pillow at him. "yeah the train ride was exciting for me........" she really wanted to tell someone that she kind of had her first kiss. It was like a balloon inside her wanting to burst.

"why would you waste chocolate like that... and you know those frogs only have one good jump... everyone knows that... i would have eaten them" poor chocolate frogs they could have been in her belly already.

"Hyperactive kid???? what did he look like?" there were plenty of excited kids on the train, because well they were coming to Hogwarts so of course they would be bouncing off the walls. Butt she did remember seeing a few of them that were a bit over the top.

Something else that would need to be figured out.

Alice closed her eyes to visualize this, she liked the idea of it happening at night. Like a proper production. It would look amazing with the blue flame. "That's brilliant, Really." She thought Blaise had quite a talent for this. She would be sure to let him know. "Permission? Probably the Headmaster.. and whatever teacher that would be helping us with magic and supervision. I would suggest Professor Myers. I know he would do it."

She wasn't really used to this aspect of the theater or a role but she found herself liking it more and more. Maybe she'd have to consider such roles as she got older. Producing and whatnot. "If you think she can do it i trust your judgement." She then shook her head. "I haven't seen the boy i wanted to ask since term started. Do you have anyone you think would be good?" She would just say they should ask Phillip but she really didn't want his stupid girlfriend around.

Professor Myers? The man who spiked their tea and shrunk them without their knowledge or permission for unexplained reasons when really it wouldn't have made a difference if he'd told them and Blaise would have been better prepared for suddenly being the size of a thumb? That Myers? "We'll keep him in mind if we can't get anyone else." Which was kinda like a 'no' but not a complete no just in case they really couldn't find anyone else because he'd be damned if they invited Newton along for the ride.

Though it never really occurred to him in the moment, this sort of thing was also right up his alley of creative preferences. He didn't like the stage, he didn't fancy himself forced on it but this, he found, was quite entertaining. "Honestly? I think Phillip would make a good Salazar." In no way drawing any connection between behaviours or ideologies but rather that his friend might be able to put on a good show. "With Bentley already playing Godric and me directing, he'd have very little reason to say no and two good reasons to say yes." The pack stuck together, afterall. "I'll ask him when we get back to the castle, unless you have objections."

Not a Tyrant, he was willing to listen and take things into consideration.

Oh, a student!

Rosalyn smiled as a young boy joined her almost immediately after she had climbed to the top of the treehouse. Seemed like this might be one of the popular hang out spots after all. Even if she was 'older', she definitely didn't feel old and she wanted to stay in touch with the students since they were the main reason why she was here. It was important to get to know them outside of lessons. "Hello," she told the boy with a smile as she tried to remember what his name was. This was so not her strong suit but she was trying really hard to memorize their names in the process of getting to know them. "Your name is Kimi, right?" If she was wrong about this she would feel a little embarrassed but she WAS trying.

At the moment a cat appeared in the treehouse. Eyes widening, Rosalyn watched the creature who seemed to be determined to escape its owner. Before she could try to catch the animal, she ran into said person - or more THEY ran into her. "Gaston!" The poor man was looking frazzled and there was something on his arm though she didn't get a chance to look at it properly. "No worries," she said with a laugh as she waved the accident aside. Things happened and it wasn't as if she had been hurt.

She became thoughtful. "Well, I am sure that we can catch her. Would you like to help us, Kimi?" Three people would have more luck than one.
