Student Work Room The Arithmancy classroom isn’t typically locked; this is because Professor Carraro wanted his students to have the ability to work on their arithmetic when not in class. The room is filled with small wooden tables with two small hand-sewn beanbags sitting below each of the desks as they do for every class. Warm lights and the scent of lit beeswax candles can be smelled wafting through the corridors near the classroom. |
Azura didn't normally have trouble with classes, most of the magic based ones she no problems with. Magic sort of came naturally to her. Potions she had inherited the knack from her mother.. and Herbology was fun.. Arithmancy and Ancient Runes were two classes that she didn't feel like she.. got.. Especially since she had like four names and her birth certificate was different than her adopted name.. and.. *sighs* She moved into the classroom and even though no one was there slid into her usual seat and started to take out her notes.. She started to write down all the calculations they had done.. double checking to make sure they were right.. |
Rafael had a happy grin on his face as he made his way back to his office and classroom – it was nice. Spring was here and not to mention his mum had sent him a basket of fruit…fruit was the nectar of life, well to him anyway. Delicious. That’s what his pear was or that was what he thought as he looked into the workrooms and spotted…wait, a student? Was that a first? Yes, yes it might have been…or well, the first time he found someone actually working in it and not trying to get a secret almost unused snog-location. Seriously, it was a castle there were better places for that than classrooms…still smiling over at Miss. Snow he ducked into the room. ”Hello Miss Snow, do you need any help with your calculations?” he asked kindly. |
Azura looked up and smiled as Professor Carraro walked in and she nodded.. "I do actually Professor.. I'm really not good at this stuff. " She said softly as she motioned to her textbook.. "Charms and magic I can do fine,but when it comes to numbers.. I'm rather hopeless.. not to mention.. " She tugged at the end of her hair a bit.. "I have a few names.. I was born with one, got adopted with another and then got adopted back.. " Yeah it was all rather complicated.. "So quite honestly I'm not sure if I'm doing this right at all. " |
