Slytherin House Table

The finest china and silverware is set on the table for this end of term feast. Although there's no food yet, wonderful smells are emanating from the kitchens, enough to make your mouth water in anticipation.

Have a seat as we wait for the Headmaster to give his speech, but make sure you take the time to swap summer plans and say goodbye to the departing seventh years. No tears... that's what the train is for!

FEAST TIME!!

This sixth year was sad to see her seventh year friends leave, but with the summer that was waiting for her Natalia was all about the feast and being done. She couldn't wait to start her internship at the record label and she was almost bouncing as she had come into the Great Hall. The ups and downs of this term were probably her worst up until January and then best since. Her grades were amazing and she just knew Joe would be shocked thanks for the help Hirsch , the band was working hard, and she and Cal were doing great.

Things were perfect at the moment and there was never a time Natalia Franks-Mundie could ever say she felt that way. So now taking a seat at the table she decided to wait on her bandmates, roommates, friends, or boyfriend, whichever came first to sit next to her.

ChanceCoeur 12-06-2016 01:05 AM

The Feast was happening.

Noelle refused to go sit at her table. Not because she didn't love her lions, she did. But her favorite Slytherin, her sister, was leaving and she wanted to spend every minute she could with her. Noelle just couldnt handle that she wouldnt be able to go find Hady any chance she wanted. And what about their Thursdays? ..... She was NOT going to cry.

Looking around the table, Noelle didn't spot Hady. Knowing the 7th year, she would be here soon. Noelle took a seat, deciding to wait instead of standing awkwardly around. She would see her table soon enough.
Now to wait.

Well, this was it.

TODAY...was his moment. That moment everyone was looking up to. Maybe not everyone because you know, feelings, but Hugo was excited. Yeah, EXCITED. Why? Well, duh, out of school, people! He was feeling proud of himself while getting ready to leave the Slytherin common room and head to the Great Hall where everyone was waiting for this handsome, funny Slytherin Prefect. But of course, he was....nostalgic because for about seven years this has been like his second home. Literally because sometimes he hadn't gone to his home for the holidays. But now it was time to leave and even though he was excited to graduate he was going to miss Hogwarts. Very much. Especially the food.

Hugo put on the Prefect badge on his robes for one last time and looked in the mirror. He wondered where was Dante, it was a bit odd not to see him around. Maybe he was with Eureka...or planning some sort of prank. Anyways, he was ready to look UH-MAZING during the feast. The Slytherin made his way to the Hall, wondering what he was going to write on the Seventh year memory book. He was going to do that later, of course. He needed food to think properly.

He stepped into the Great Hall and looked around, few people were there already but that was okay to him. Walking towards his house table, he noticed Nat was already there. He smiled to himself. "Why so lonely?" and poked her softly on the shoulder.

She watched other's walk and and noticed Lily even head to her table. She'd be over there in a moment, because she'd have to talk to Frankie before the end of the feast of course. When she heard the voice she couldn't believe she hadn't seen him before he saw her. She felt the poke on the shoulder and reached over her shoulder and grabbed his hand.

"Well Mr. Prefect took you long enough to get here." She turned and let go of his hand. "You ready for the end?" Looking at Hugo she couldn't help but think about everything that had happened between them, all the moments, all the ways he really did save her from herself. Emotions ran through her all of the sudden.

Nope this wasn't happening.

Getting up she hugged him without thinking. "I'm going to miss you next term."

Cal was sooooooooo done with this term. He was ready to go right now. The term seemed like it lasted 20 years and he was stuck in the same sixteen year old body all those years. He shouldn't complain too much. Life has been heavenly with Nat these past few months. A little rough patch with Obz and Roman, but GREAT regardless.

He spotted Nat at the table...with Hugo next to her...so, he quietly sat across from them. Hello, her boyfriend is here.

Hugo smiled at Nat. "Well, you know what they say: good things take time" ehem. He sighed, "Don't make it sound like I will never see you again or like I'm going to die" said with a laugh. "Though I don't know what I'll be doing after graduating" it didn't worried him much either because he was sure he was going to end up doing something related with DADA. Hugo hugged her back, it was good to see that things between them had finally worked out. It had been a rough patch. "I know, don't cry much" teased "I'm gonna miss you too" Hugo had to admit, at least to himself, that he was always going to feel something for Nat, maybe not like before but he couldn't deny that he has liked her A LOT and will always care for her.

He noticed someone sitting across from them. Nat's boyfriend. Nice. He gave him a what's up nod.

Don't worry mate.

Die?

"Gosh Hugo don't say die." She didn't want to think about something bad happening to him. She was glad they were friends again and got past things. She hated when they didn't get along. "Where is Dante?" He got a girlfriend and then she didn't see him that much.

Rude Dante rude...

She looked up at him still hugging, "Thank you.. for everything you've done for me." He deserved more then a simple thank you, but he had to understand what she meant. Her eyes turned as she noticed someone sit across from them. Smile growing she let go of Hugo and leaned over the table to give him a quick kiss.

"Was wondering where you were."

Cal's eyes were fixed on Hugo for a few seconds, naturally, before turning to look at Nat and smiling. "Just wanted a few more minutes of napping." He returned a small kiss.

He sat back, turning back towards Hugo. "Alright?" He didn't want to seem jealous, especially after the whole Roman thing, but y'know. Lads.

Was it the end of Jonas' third year already? Well, crap, that sure went by really fast this year. But that was alright...he still hadn't made any friends...maybe that one girl he sees in most of his classes. What was her name? He'd all but forgotten by now. Anyways, walking into the great hall, Jonas' saw all the food that was on the table. Everything looked so delicious!

SilverTiger 12-06-2016 08:11 AM

I wasn't going to, but yolo (mention of certain prefects and others)

There had been a part of Brooklyn that had thought about bypassing the feast altogether. She hadn’t felt like she’d miss much, besides the fact that she knew her house had done amazing, of course. Not only that, but somehow she had helped with that. It had been other reasons she’d thought about staying away, but her own opinion of herself had won out. She wasn’t going to hide away when she could leave a final impression on the school. On people who would be back next term. Therefore, instead of staying in the common room with Tywin waiting for the train, she had gotten dressed up and headed up to the Great Hall. She figured nobody could complain about her not being in uniform when she wasn’t coming back.

She had walked into the hall with her head held high as usual, heading straight for the Slytherin table. It had only been once she got there that her demeanor had shifted just the tiniest bit, as she saw Hugo over with Nat and the younger girl’s boyfriend. She had chosen intentionally to move a distance away from the three, taking a seat silently and immediately turning to contemplate the staff, and who might be leaving with her and the other seventh years.

One Miss Hadleigh Renee Lynch had finally arrived and only for the reason that she was expected to. Being Head Girl meant the title was hers until the moment she stepped off the train and was home, therefore the feast wasn't something she could skip. Not to mention it was her last one.

Her last feast. Ever.

The seventh year had no idea how she felt about this. Her emotions were running on high but as she pushed up the doors to the great hall open and stepped inside her typical Hady grin formed on her lips. There would be no tears here. Not from her.

Hazel eyes scanned each table in turn. Starting off at the Lions table her eyes landed on a pair of blue ones right away. Sending him a soft smile she turned her attention onto the next table and the next. Everyone would get their time to see her. Finally her eyes shifted to her table. Her snakes. Hady let out a slow breath and moved forward towards her house table stopping short when someone there caught her attention. The little sis.

Slipping down onto the bench beside Noelle, she wrapped an arm around her shoulders pulling her into her side. "Only smiles El, no tears," she whispered in a hushed tone. They would be seeing each other all the time, this wasn't goodbye. Hady didn't do goodbyes.

Everyone at the table got a smile from her and her typical nod of the head. Before the feast was done she'd be speaking with them all.

End of the term. Its over. Her first year finally over. And she still alive! Next year she'll be a second year. She won't be the 'baby' anymore.

To be honest she's not looking forward to go back home. Even though its pretty crazy here she could do magic and surrounded by it. She couldn't do that back home. Sigh. She walked to the Great Hall and her eyes quickly scanned the Slytherin table looking for Queen Brooklyn. She spotted the older red hair right away.

Be cool, Alyce. Be cool! Deep breath.

What should she call her? Miss? Queen? Brooklyn? "Queen Brooklyn. Hello." Smile. The first year quickly claimed the seat next to her. She spotted the Head Girl person not far away from her. She gave her a little wave. Hopefully she noticed that little wave.

Hi Noelle and Hady <3

Olly was having mixed feelings about this end of term. It marked the end of his fourth year at Hogwarts, which meant that his next year was his fifth year which meant OWLs which meant...he didn't want to think about that. He was going to enjoy this feast and surround himself with friends that he wouldn't be able to see for a while. At some point he'd probably make his way to the Hufflepuff table and his boyfriend, or maybe just meet up with him on the train if he never ended up over there. There were also friends at the Gryffindor table, like Ellery and Char who he might go hang out with, but when he'd glanced over he had not spotted Noelle. When Olly actually reached the Slytherin table he found out why. She was there...which was weird.

He smiled and took a seat by her, but managed to figure out that she was not there to see him, but for Hady, who he knew she was close to. He didn't want to disturb their moment, but of course he wanted to sit next to his best friend if she was at his table. He had a smile for the Head Girl too, even though he was not so close to her. And look there was Slytherin Prefect Hugo Foster. Olly had never actually spoken to him, but he was still going to miss seeing the boy around. He was nice to look at, after all. And he'd been Olly's first crush.

Okay...food now please.

The end of an era.

HER era.

Maggie sighed dramatically as she entered the Great Hall. She was torn between feeling nostalgic and feeling excited. Like, on the one hand she was going to miss this. Everything. The school. The people. But on the other hand....there was a LOT OF excitement ahead of her too.

Especially with a certain Gryffindor seventh year.

Her eyes rested on Zeke for a moment while she headed over to her own house table. Maggie sent a quick smirk his way (they'd be seeing each other after the feast, right?) and a grin to Kaycee next to him. Hi there, bestie. But they'd have time after the feast. It was Slytherin time now. She couldn't deprive her Snakes from sitting with her after all.

So that was what she did. Next to Brooklyn. "Hii!" Hello! Could she tell that Maggie was in a good mood?? Because she totally was. She was practically beaming. "It feels weird." She added, almost like an afterthought before looking over to the girl on Brooklyn's other side. "Hey!" She was being friendly! Hi!

WeasleyGirl 12-06-2016 08:35 PM

Also Brooklyn and Maggie

Hugo laughed and shrugged "Just saying, you make it sound like I'll disappear from earth" which it wasn't the case. For now. Ah, that was a good question, "Who knows. He wasn't in the common room. He's either with Eureka or up to something since it is the last day..." or both. But it wouldn't surprise him if Dante actually played a prank on him. Anyways, he should get here. Soon.

He smiled at Nat. There were things he wanted to say but a certain unexpected guest was there so maybe it was not the moment. "You can always talk to me when you need it" after all they weren't hating each other. FINALLY!

Hugo nodded at Cal, "Yeah, you?" he didn't knew much about him except that he was Nat's boyfriend.

Well, it may have been awkward for a moment until he spotted Brooklyn and Maggie. "Well, I'll see you later" that was for Nat of course, not Cal. Heh. Hugo moved next to the two Slytherin girls and sat down, "What's up you two? Ready to leave?" he bet Brooklyn was. Maybe Maggie too?

Bazinga 12-06-2016 10:16 PM

A few of you!

She couldn't help but laugh and shake her head, "Of course you were napping." Boyfriend was all about the napping. She was glad his OWLs were over now so he didn't have to be so stressed out anymore. She tried to help him as much as she could, but he always seemed to be tired lately. Now that it was over he could sleep as much as he wanted. "You can sleep the entire way on the train tomorrow." She gave him a small grin knowing he'd probably use her as a pillow.

She glanced between the two boys and for the first time felt that awkward moment when Hugo was around Roman again, but this time is was Cal. She inwardly sighed, because it just seemed like they would never just not have awkwardness. "Well if he's going to prank I hope it's a big one." It should be for the final thing. Her brown eyes moved around the table to see who else was there and she gave Jonas a wave. "Ready for summer?" He was a fun younger year that she enjoyed helping in class.

Seeing Hugo get up she looked at him a bit hurt for a moment, but then realized where he was headed. "Have fun lover boy." She knew nothing had happened between him and Brooklyn, at least that's what she thought, but she still liked to tease about it after the start feast and all. Lifting her hand and giving a small wave more to Brooklyn then Maggie she turned her head to look away. His words about always talking to him if she needed hit her a bit and she looked down at the table catching her emotions.

NO crying at the feast Natalia!

As she lifted her head she caught Hady not to far away. Lifting her wand she sent butterflies towards her friend and smiled, "Congrats!!" They had a small party for her as a band earlier, but she still was feeling the emotions seeing her friend knowing she would be there for that last time tonight. As she said that to Hady she waved to Noelle before getting up and moving to sit right next to Cal. Reaching down she took his hand and gave it a squeeze. "I hate these feasts. They are all a bit depressing." Depressing was something she was not a fan of.

Noelle's ears and eyes had drifted their attention to a few Snakes that were talking down the table as she waited on Hady to arrive. She didn't know the story but there seemed to be a little bit of awkwardness going on with them.

Feeling an arm slide around her shoulders, Noelle looked up as she saw Hady and smiled. But then Hady was talking.... and telling her not to cry. ........ She would try but no promises. Noelle knew this wasn't goodbye, but she knew it wouldn't be the same. She nodded to Hady though, to make her happy.

The next moment, some butterflies came flying towards Hady and Noelle giggled. She followed where they came from and saw Nat. She grinned and waved back at her. "So have you wrote in the memory book yet? You're going to right?" Noelle asked Hady as Hady got settled. Important question.

Cassirin 12-07-2016 02:44 AM

Katy flopped into a seat at the Slytherin table, not far from where Miss Nat was sitting. If her mother was there, Katy would be chided for not being more lady-like, but luckily... no mother in sight. And Miss Nat wasn't going to boss Katy around, which was why she was safe.

Probably there were others who had opinions about Katy, but she wasn't taking a poll today. Or ever. Rawr.

"I'm starved. Did you know that my stomach is literally caving in on itself? I can count my ribs. Count my ribs, Miss Nat." She pulled her shirt tight against her belly to show. Starved.

Also. "I'm glad you aren't leaving."

Cal's eyes followed Hugo's departure from their group. "Not a man of many wor-rds, is he?" He said, gesturing with a nod to Hugo. "I hope I didn't interrupt s-something important between ya." If there was any trace of bitterness in those words, he swears it to be accidental. But like before said, lads.

He took hold of one of her hands as greetings to her came from left and right. Cal constantly forgot how popular his girlfriend was and how not popular he was. It was a bit weird.

If boyfriend thought she cared about popularity he was clearly mistaken. She might have been talking to many people, but her eyes stayed on him the majority of time. "No, Hugo has never been very chatty. We have had a rough friendship." She watched him over near Brooklyn awhile. "He's helped me though and is a good guy." She leaned in and whispered, "Not as good as you." Another squeeze of his hand as she smiled at him.

"You didn't interrupt anything. I'm glad you are here." Hearing a voice right next to her she turned her head and smiled seeing Katy. She couldn't help but laugh "That's not good. We can't have Katy waste away." She reached into her purse and pulled out her chocolate frogs. "Good thing I always come prepared." She handed one to Katy and offered one to Cal. "Katy do you know my boyfriend Cal? Cal this is Katy."

End of Term Feast already.

Man where did the time go?

As the soon to be seventh year slytherin made his way to the table, he made a checklist of what he did in his sixth year so far. He checked off getting a girlfriend. That was one great aspect. He grinned and found his seat. He saw the plates empty and he smirked. Well he his starving stomach had to wait. He looked around for his particular someone. He was chill if he ran into familiar faces too. He shrugged and went to plan his B and did some people watching. He observed his surroundings and wondered what his other classmates were doing at their other house tables.

He now had to think of summer plans. Man what was he doing this summer? He had no idea yet. All he knew was his NEWTS were around the corner.

Chocolate frog! Katy took the gift eagerly, unwrapping it and pinning it to the table so it couldn't get away. Chocolate. Processed sugar and preservatives and magically enhanced! All the banned foods in a tiny delicious package.

She snapped off a leg. "Thanks, Miss Nat. This frog is super bad for you, did you know? If you got more, I can help you get rid of them." She ate the leg in two bites. "In my mouth. I'm a good helper."

The boyfriend got a polite nod. She didn't know him, but he had a nice face. And he was polite and was obviously very fond of Miss Nat. So. He was a keeper in her book, for whatever that was worth. "Nice to meet you, Cal. Is that short for Calvin or Calpert or Calrissian? Katy is short for Katherine. Toussaint." She nodded at his frog. "Bad for you. Eat it fast."

It was Slytherin time now. She couldn't deprive her Snakes from sitting with her after all.

Kaycee obviously did not have as much restraint as Maggie did. As soon as she was done with her obligatory lion greetings, she made her way over to the snake table. With a huge grin she slid into the seat next to her bestie and practically tackled her in a hug.

Zeke wasn't using her at the moment so DIBS!

"Hi! Look! We did it!"

He didn't want to disturb their moment, but of course, he wanted to sit next to his best friend if she was at his table. He had a smile for the Head Girl too, even though he was not so close to her. And look there was Slytherin Prefect Hugo Foster. Olly had never actually spoken to him, but he was still going to miss seeing the boy around. He was nice to look at, after all. And he'd been Olly's first crush.

Okay...food now, please.

Jonas looked over at the boy that was a fourth soon to be a fifth year. He offered him a small smile.
