Middle Cars Do you suffer from train carriage FOMO? If you want to be in the middle of everything, these are the seats for you. No one will wander by without your knowing, and no party at the front OR back of the train will be missed. Just make sure you don't party too hard... there's still London at the end of this journey! |
Miranda made her way into the first compartment she came to lugging her trunk and Arcadius' cage behind her. The one wheel on her trunk had broken off when she had set it down as she had climbed up into the train making the tsk of moving along frustrating to say the least.. Mumbling and grumbling to herself as she dragged it into the compartment and slid the confounded thing under the bench before she flops down onto the seat. She just sat silently in her car alone waiting to see if her best friend or even anyone would come and enjoy the ride back to London with her. She gathered her knees to her and wrapped her arms around them as she waited for the train to pull away... And she knew it'd be a while before she felt the lurch signalling that they were on their way... |
For Ally/Hady Hadley wandered through the car after car looking for Hady. It was hard to believe this would be the last time she saw Hady as a Hogwarts student. Sure, she knew she'd see her again. This wasn't the end of their friendship, but it was still surreal. It was hard to picture Hogwarts without Hady, just as it had been hard to picture it without Penny. The old castle just wasn't the same without them. Asher perched sleepily on her shoulder. The silly ferret had worn himself out within half an hour of exploring the cabin that she, Ace and their friends shared. Now he just shot Hads annoyed glances every time she'd duck her head into a compartment to see if Hady was there. All the moving was making it hard for him to fall asleep. Hadley patted Asher's head and peeked into the next compartment. Nope. No Hady there either. Hopefully, she wasn't in the prefect compartment...A) Hadley didn't exactly know where that compartment was, and B) She was pretty sure Rooster would be there and she had no interest in that. Come on, Hady where are you? |
You two! Quote:
Hady heaved a soft sigh as she headed down the aisle with Sammie, her crup, at her side. She was actually going to peek into every compartment on the way to the Perfect's one. Her goal in mind...saying hello to all those along the way. It just so happened that the very first door she slid open and peeked into was occupied by someone Hady didn't know incredibly well but that she recalled seeing around a few times. "Hello," she greeted simply her usual smile in place. Quote:
"Looking for someone?" the brunette asked softly gently nudging Haddie's shoulder with her own being mindful of Asher. Surely she was looking for her cause who wouldn't be? Hady was amazing and everyone always wanted to be around her. Joking. Really though she was pretty fun to be around. |

" Hi, There", she smiled at the much older former student. It was nice to see a smiling face among all the long drawn faces she had been seeing the past few days. |

"Yeah, you." She leaned in, giving the older Hady a hug. "Short crop." Once Hads finished the hug, she kneeled down and pet Hady's crup. "Who's this cutie?" She stood up again, and looked Hady straight in the eye. "You are going to keep in touch." It wasn't a question. Hadley was making it very clear she wouldn't accept anything else. Not that she was worried. "You said at the feast you had something you wanted to give me?" |
