Spring is coming and the temperature is getting warmer. It's such a perfect weather to have another outdoor class again. Jordan had set up the creature backyard area with the standing blackboard and desks. There's no sign of any creature that he would teach about today, just like usual.
The CoMC professor was standing there with his second (or third?) cup of coffee today, a cup of Americano from the finest Ethiopia Yirgacheffe coffee beans. Come on in, take a seat and hope that you will enjoy the class.

Bella was looking forward to a class outside since the weather was getting warmer. She walked into the area where Professor Hernandez's has set up for another COMC class. "Hello Professor." She greeted with a smile, before moving toward a desk to take a seat and get ready for the lesson.

It was a lovely day outside, the weather was getting warmer, her auditions were over and Az barely had a care in the world right now. She was concentrating on classes mainly.. and she was excited for this one
Despite the fact that the new Professor wasn't Draper, she liked him. And he got a warm smile as she walked into Class.
"Hello Professor! How are you?" She called out as she moved to take a seat.
Kitty skipped energetically down towards the lesson, humming an upbeat tune as she went. She was really loving this new spring weather - later after classes she was going to go read by the lake. As she approached the desks she stopped her skipping and humming. "Good morning Professor," The Goth prefect greeted Jordan cheerfully. "How are you today?" Then she went to sit down at one of the desks near the front.
Matt was in a good mood and the fact the weather was getting warmer made it all ever betterrrrr. RAH. Summer time was the BEST.
Spring was okay too.
CREATURES TIME! Which Matt actually enjoyed a little. No much theory, lots of hands-on activities. Yeah, he could live with that. "Yo, man." Matt gave the professor a nod and casually went to take his seat, a certain bounce to his walk as he bopped to the music that was playing only in his head.

Spring! Finally, spring is around. Jonas was in a good mood today too. It was great. He headed down to the care for magical creatures lessons....what number was it? Like the thirtieth or something? Okay so maybe that was an exaggeration. Alright so what kind of creatures are they gonna be learning about today? Jonas had no idea.
Miranda made her way down to her care of magical creatures class.. She always enjoyed this class as it was always interesting to learn about all the neat animals within her world...
She got to where class would be held and of course it would be held outside.. Animals did spend a great portion of their lives outside.. Although she wasn't seeing anything milling around the creature yard just yet.. So.. She took a seat after greeting the teacher.
" Good morning, Professor Hernandez" she said with her usual smile.

It was getting warmer and Nat was grateful for that. getting up bright and early, she headed down to COMC. She smelled the coffee before she even got down there so when she entered the area she smiled at the professor. "Did you bring enough for all of us?" She was half joking really, because the only person that mattered to get one was herself of course. Her eyes moved around noticing there were no creatures in sight and she wondered what they would learn today.
Wishing she would have brought her own cup of coffee with her the sixth year tries to see where to sit. Not to many were around yet so she just took an open seat and smiled at the ones already there. She was more smiles anymore then she had been all term. Things were finally going her way and she was going to keep it that way.

Rula was super glad the weather was beginning to warm up again. Not that she disliked winter, but it DID get tiring after awhile. Spring time meant the landscape would be a pretty green and flowers were blooming, and all the pretty stuff like that.
Of course, all that wasn't quite around yet, but it would be soon!
"Hi, Professor!" She greeted him with a smile, not really minding the coffee he had. She didn't like coffee all that much - hot chocolate or tea was preferable to her if a warm drink was needed.
She slipped into an empty seat and waited for class to start.

Care of Magical Creatures was usually a class Henry looked forward to, provided that they were going to be working with an interesting creature during class. And it was a bonus that they were going to be outside.
At the scheduled time for class, the fourth year headed down to the class area. No sign of what they might be studying, so hopefully it wasn't just a theory based class. But he knew that Professor Hernandez sometimes disillusioned the creatures of the day, so he wasn't too fazed, not yet.
"Good morning, Professor," he greeted their teacher with a smile, then turned to find a seat up front and center.

Jace had his nose in the air, as he took in the smell of coffee and the nice spring air. The half-Japanese wished everyday was like today. Warm-ish, and the waft of coffee just hanging around for everyone to smell. The Ravenclaw's pace accelerated when he saw his classmates started to gather around the Creatures professor. Jace stopped just a few steps away from Professor Hernandez, and gave the man his usual bow.
"Ohayo, sensei." he said giving his mug a quick glance. The sudden urge to have tea came to his senses, but Jace was quick to turn around and took a seat next to Henry. The older boy got a nice grin, and slight bow of his head as Jace settled in. "Hello."

Juno walked calmly towards the backyard area where the professor kept most of the creatures. It was such a lovely day that she was extremely happy to be out doors. "Hello, Professor!" Juno called out as she slid into a seat. It was just so nice out!
She couldn't wait to see what today's lesson had in store!

Walking out to the creature backyard, Brooklyn took a moment to enjoy the weather. It was a nice change from the winter weather, warm enough that she hadn’t had to wear too many layers. Granted, the subject still wasn’t one of her favorites, but that hadn’t stopped her from heading outside. She could find something to occupy herself with if she’d rather not deal with whatever they were studying today. Although of course she wouldn’t tell Professor Hernandez that.
“Good day Professor Hernandez,” she greeted the man, blue eyes analyzing the cup in his hand as if she could tell how much coffee he’d had before she turned to find a seat. Not that she cared, as she was fairly certain he wasn’t the type to act hyper after having too much caffeine.

Care of Magical Creatures was an easy class to slip into unnoticed, since there was no door to slam behind her. She wasn't even late, which made being out of breath not even worth the hassle. Aoife huffed and positioned herself near the front of the group. She watched the professor with his coffee with a tilted head. How rude to not even offer hot beverages for the students. We were the ones doing all of the hard work at this school, you know.
"Hello, Professor Hernandez. Lovely weather today, isn't it?" Aoife grinned before being completely distracted by a trio of birds flying in the sky. Best to get the polite greeting out of the way to get into these teachers' good books, eh?

Hadleigh made her way into the backyard area where the days lesson was to be held. It appeared that she was right on time with her arrival judging by the amount of others that were already here. Everyone got a warm smile from her as she passed them making for an empty seat.
"Hello professor," the teen greeted happily as she passed him taking note of his cup of coffee. Ah, another coffee drinker just like herself. She wasn't as addicted to the stuff as she was a term or two ago but she drank it much more then she probably should. Slipping down onto the seat, the strap of her bag slid down her arm and she let the bag drop onto the floor at her feet with a very quiet 'thud'. Right now she wouldn't be pulling anything from her bag but she did have all her items for the lesson inside it.
Hazel eyes traveled once over the area taking note that as normal there was no sign of what they would be working with with today. It was anyone's guess and all she could hope was it was something interesting. Maybe something that had to do with the lovely weather they were now having. Whatever it was though she was sure she'd enjoy the lesson.

Paige was yawning again, but it was her own fault that she had stayed up so late engrossed in her university course manual and neglected to finish up her Charms homework until the wee hours of the morning. It was becoming harder and harder to focus on Hogwarts affairs when she now knew for certain where she was heading after graduation - well, unless she failed certain subjects...which she needed to remind herself were still a priority with NEWTs coming up. Some of those marks, as she had read, would also help dictate whether or not she were able to take certain healing courses as a first year.
Basically...Paige Samantha Skeeter needed to acquire some chill and stop herself from falling under the influence of seventh year-itis.
"Good morning, professor," she greeted with a small smile as moved to find herself a seat.
Please no flying today...pleeeeeeeease...that was STILL weighing on her conscious.

Harvey made his way to an empty desk, glad to be outside for a change. He was spending far too much time in the castle cooped up studying. Not that he didn't love it. He did. But it was still nice to be outside.
"Hi, Professor," he said as he set down his bag and settled into his chair. He kept glancing around, hoping to catch a glimpse of what they'd be doing next, but no such luck.

Taking another sip of his coffee, Jordan saw a Slytherin just walked passing by him without greetings or something like that. Not that he's making a fuss about that but well, that was just plain rude. "Good to see you, Mr. Emery. Such a polite gesture to come in here without any greetings." Cannot help with that sarcastic comment, not sorry.

Still with the coffee mug on his hand, Jordan looked at the students arriving and taking seats. He just smiled as he saw a certain Slytherin girl coming. "Ain't nobody had time for that, Miss Franks-Mundie." He said jokingly. "I heard that some students got a little bit traumatic with the food that Professor had served so I don't do that." Although it would be nice to serve real coffee to the students.

Now his coffee had finished, Jordan checked his watch. Okay, it's time to start the class. "Good morning, students!" He greeted all the attending students. "Welcome to another class of mine, and I'd like to day that it's a beautiful day to learn about Magical Creatures." Pretty sure that he was stealing those catchphrase from someone else with a little bit modification, but he didn't remember from whom.
"Now, could you guys name one type of bird that considers as a magical creature?" Straight to the point, he opened his lesson by asking the students about magical birds. "Don't forget to raise your hand before answering. If you know their magical properties, it would be better if you also mention it."
OOC: Now the lesson has started, please don't announce your character is late. Just jump in and pretend that he/she has been there Just mention only ONE name of bird.

Bella sat quietly as she waited for class to begin wondering what sort of creature they were going to learn about today. She couldn't wait to find out. While other students slow trickled in, she busied herself with getting everything out she needed such as her notebook and favorite pen.
When Professor Hernandez asked them to name a bird that was considered a magical creature her hand shot into the air. There were several magical birds she knew about, but she could only give one answer so she picked her favorite. "A Golden Snidget." She answered, before adding. "It's a spherical bird that can fly very fast. They can change speed and direction almost instantaneously."

Aoife raised her hand and gave it a little wiggle. "A Diricawl, professor." She gave a general glance of pride towards the students around her because she knew she had a GREAT answer. She didn't know much about them really, nor had she ever seen one, but she knew about one specific magical quality that they had which was worth mentioning. "They have the magical ability to disappear when they are in danger. A bit like... apparition, professor." Aoife continued, a bit unsure on the last addition to her answer.

Oh Tenacius was there, just in at the nick of time just as the Professor stood to start the lesson. The great thing about hover boards is that they're quiet. Cant do that with a regular skate board eh?
But yeah magical creatures of the avian variety? Up goes the hand "Theres the Thunderbird professor!" the Gryffindor replied without missing a beat "They said their wings are so powerful they can create storms in their wake."
Also someone told him if he decided to stay Stateside, he would've likely ended up in the house of the same name at Illvermorny. For a boy who adored winged horses, that was all sorts of awesome chatter.
