Personality: Art is an eccentric bugger, very creative, and intelligent, yet very humble. Although he can be a little bit strange with his interactions, he is very friendly, and is always up for a chat. Though, preferably something associated with potions, chemistry, or tea.

History
Early Family History
Arthur “Art” Newton was born to Neurobiologist Melissa, and Physicist Orville. He already had two brothers; Scott and Walter, and was soon joined by Samuel. He was born in Norway, whilst his family were on a three year working holiday there. The following year, they moved to Oxfordshire, where his parents returned to work. They were all very surprised when Scott, on his eleventh birthday, were visited by the current Head of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, who informed them that Scott was, in fact, a Wizard. Two years later, Walter followed, and sure enough, three years passed, and on April 1st, Art got his letter.
Hogwarts History
He was sorted into Gryffindor, and wasn’t the only Newton to be surprised, as his brothers had both been sorted into Ravenclaw. He was, however, on the stall for seven whole minutes. Art knew it was seven minutes because, as he remembers, he counted seven lots of sixty. Seconds, that is. The ultimate decision of the hat to place Art in Gryffindor soon proved to be obvious. The young lad was constantly doing things without thinking. He was in and out of the Hospital wing with injuries, and in and out of Detention. His bravery was too much for his poor sense of restraint, and his clumsiness. He was exceptionally gifted in Potions, and grew a keen interest in herbology, transfiguration, and Care of Magical Creatures, all of which assisted throughout his potions career.
Academic and Career History
Once Art graduated from Hogwarts, he had decided to continue with his magical studies, furthering his knowledge of Potions. For the next few years, he studied under great Potioneers, and his poor restraint proved to be a gift, as it was Art who, putting all of his great ideas to practice, was brave enough to deal with the singed eyebrows and burnt digits to find the perfect formulas for many potions, giving him the unfearing ability to invent many new potions.
After working in the Potions Laboratories for a few years, Art began to look into various magical illnesses and maladies. After feeling the desire to help those living with illnesses, in brewing healing potions, he applied for a training course at St. Olaf’s Hospital, back in his birthplace of Norway. The course ran for four years, and he learned about various illnesses and maladies, and how to create curative and treating potions. Following 15 years of training, working in the potions teams in various hospitals, and with the death of his beloved parents, Art decided to return to his muggle roots and apply to study Chemistry at the local muggle university. Over the next 15 years, he went through as a first year undergraduate, finishing his doctorate, and went on to teach part time within various High Schools. He divided his time between working as a chemist, and a potioneer, before finally, after his muggle retirement, applying for the post of Potion Master at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Personal History
Arthur met and fell in love with fellow Gryffindor muggle-born, Danielle McCray, whilst in their fifth year. Upon leaving Hogwarts, the two remained in a relationship and eventually married. The couple were both focusing on their careers, and did not have any children. Danielle eventually became an Auror, and was killed in duty. The mourning Art buried himself into his work, and spent four years trying to develop a shielding potion for other Aurors going into a dangerous situation. Soon after he developed a rough brew of the potion, he met another witch, Minnie Willowgrass. They married only six months later, and had three children, triplets, who were educated in Norway. Unfortunately Art's perfect family fell apart in 2081, when Minnie died of a pulmonary embolism.
Art and his children grew even closer in the wake of their mothers death. The children were at Hogwarts but Art had great support from his family.

On a rainy evening at the end of March, Seth and Vanessa Paton brought a son, who was the spitting image of his father, into the wizarding world. They named him Franklin "Frankie" Maxwell, and he was the first child that the couple had together. Even though he had an older half-sister, Frankie definitely did whatever he could to hog the spotlight at all times -- even more so when Grace was staying with them and not her actual father. He was also rather spoiled throughout his youth due to his mother's transition from shopkeeper to St. Mungo's healer and his father's surprisingly fast climb up the corporate ladder at Sleekeazy Incorporated.
Frankie soon learned, however, that getting what he wanted whenever he wanted was not always plausible. With the addition of his sister Harriet, receiving private tutelage with Professor Barnabas Burke, and interacting with other children his age at St. Woboldo's Primary School, the young boy discovered that the entire world did not revolve around him. Nonetheless, that never stopped him from trying to achieve such a thing with clever manipulation and, if all else failed, numerous temper tantrums. His behaviour did gradually improve as he grew older, though his great stubbornness, occasional outbursts, and a certain disregard for rules prevailed.
Upon receiving his Hogwarts letter, Frankie knew that Slytherin House, even though his parents were both former Hufflepuffs, was his destination. He, in fact, had bought everything green and silver under the belief that the Sorting Hat couldn't possibly misplace him like it did his father all those years ago. Lo and behold, after being a near Hatstall of four minutes, the Hat declared him a Gryffindor after determining that Slytherin was not a perfect fit for this male Paton either. Naturally, this infuriated him and his father. In spite of their efforts to bribe Headmistress Truebridge into placing Frankie in his "proper" House, the Hat's decision was final.
Since then Frankie accepted the fact that he is indeed a Gryffindor. Even though he still questions the Hat's judgement, a number of his House's traits have become apparent to him over the years. Overly daring and full of nerve, he ended up serving a handful of detentions. But this pattern changed during his fourth year when he, alongside Hadleigh Lynch, started the process of learning how to become Animagi. This privilege gave him the initiative to improve his grades and behaviour to the best of his ability. Thus far it has led him to gaining a girlfriend, becoming a prefect like his father and mother, and getting himself on the path to becoming an Auror.

Kaycee spent her pre-Hogwarts years in Miami. Before Hogwarts, she was homeschooled. Since the age of seven, she toured around the country, accompanied by her brother and mother, to compete in various urban dance / hip hop dance competitions. She developed a name for herself, after being awarded several trophies, before the family moved to England for her father's work.

Her third year was Kaycee's first year with any type of formal schooling. She went a little stir crazy at first being stuck in the same place the entire time. She found solace in her new friends. She kept with her dancing with the help of Kyroh, who she later partnered up with. She also started a yearly tradition to compete in New York City during Christmas break. She worked up a routine of studying during the year and competing during breaks. The summer before her fifth year, she had the opportunity to fill in as an instructor in a workshop. The summer before he sixth year, she had the opportunity to be a headlining workshop instructor. The summer before her seventh year was spent once again at workshops and competitions. This time, however, she was networking for her post Hogwarts career.

Year One: To be perfectly honest, Olivia was totally excited about starting at Hogwarts since all her friends (who were older) had already gone off to school there. So excited was she, that she ditched riding in the Firstie boats to catch up with Blaise Bellaire and Bentley Moore, who she'd made acquaintances with over the previous summer. Naturally, having been given time to plot with these boys had been a bad idea, and before Liv knew it, she'd been swept up into a dramatically choreographed food fight. THE POTATOES HAD BEEN SPARED, thanks to some quick (and greedy) thinking on the Gryffindor's part. Oh, and there was that, too. She'd been hoping for Gryffindor house thanks to her father having been sorted there and the FABULOUS Alice Fischer. So, much to her relief, she joined the lions! As far as lessons went, "smol blonde" struggled massively in Transfiguration and Astronomy, but unexpectedly SHINED in Defense Against the Dark arts, which could've been thanks to Professor Hirsch (or...PRINCE ERIC for those those that hadn't made the connection). Other academic honorable mentions (in the lessons department) went out to Charms (which she quickly fell in love with) and Care of Magical Creatures (because some of these animals were dangerous and Liv has zero self preservation). Highlights of the term: placing SECOND in her age group in Dueling Club, joining the Yearbook staff as a junior scribe, and making many new, wonderful friendsies (the best of which being Rooney Bronwyn) Year Two: After a rather uneventful summer, which she'd spent with friends and family, Liv boarded the Hogwarts Express for another year of magic. Since her first term had been rather disappointing, she'd promised herself she'd just suck it up and make more of an effort. This worked for the most part, as everyone wanted to share in her tea and snacks. No one turns down tea and snacks, FYI. Some new friends were made and feeling placated with that success, the Feast stayed uneventful. Actually, most of the term was uneventful. One amazing point, Professor Myers really impressed her with his Herbology lesson planning. A keen lover of all things DISNEY, the small Gryffindor sucked up the Alice in Wonderland with fevered enthusiasm. With his "dress up" and "cosplay", he quickly jumped to favorite professor; second only to Prince Erik (aka, Professor Hirsch).
Academia aside, most of the excitement came from personal happenings for this blonde. Liv finally SNOGGED, which was a big to do, and orchestrated by her two very best girlfriends, Chloe Newman and Charlotte Kettleburn. Insert one Casper Greenwood. From around Valentine's towards the end of the term, she practiced with the Ravenclaw (which was wonderful and exciting for her, obvi)....but then disaster struck when Rooney Bronwyn "happened'. In a big way, yes. In short: world view = shattered. The shared a kiss in a moment of excitement, and it pretty much changed everything for her. It was understandable, really. Roo was her very best friend and....well, his kissing didn't suck. So...... Highlights of the term: Professor Myers' crazy wardrobe choices! Dueling club dramas, in which Liv lost interest for some reason. Dramaz with the Wolf Pack; Bentley Moore, specifically. "All girl" slumber party in Moaning Mrytle's loo! NO BOYS ALLOWED (to cheer up Char). Henry and Myrtle sitting in a tree....K I S S I N G. Year Three: TBA

Lancelot is five foot seven inches with messy blond hair that has grown a bit out of its usual bowl cut shape. He has bright blue eyes that shine with curiosity and wonder, which will hopefully distract folks from the dirt smudges upon his face and clothes. He's getting better with using soap though. His wardrobe consists mostly of simple t-shirts, jeans, and sometimes shoes when he feels like it.

Once upon a time, eleven years ago in Somerset, England on a dark and stormy night, Lancelot Mcwitty was born to a very happy couple, Arthur and Adelaide McWitty. Although, that happiness was short-lived as only hours later did Adelaide pass away, leaving his father alone with a very unhappy newborn as thunder shook their rickety home and lightning illuminated their dark room. But all storms come to a end eventually and after learning of their daughter's passing, his deceased mother's parents, Imogen and Christopher Fairbarin, took it upon themselves to be as present as possible in the boy's life. Lancelot was their last connection to their daughter after all.
Arthur took up longer hours in his craftsmen and handyman jobs to provide Lancelot with everything he needed, which left the young boy with his grandparents during the day and partly at night; most of the time at least. Arthur wasn't terribly pleased with the idea of his son growing up with Imogen's ideals, among other things. Their disagreements led to Lance's journey through life to be tugged in two very different directions and as he grew older, he often found himself wandering off alone into the town they lived near or the ocean to get away from it all. Unlucky for the young lad, he wasn't too great at making friends with the kids in town, perhaps due to his constant state of mud smudges, unpleasant odor, and never ending list of questions, so he often found entertainment with his own curiosity, creativity, and imagination.
During the summer before his fifth year at Hogwarts, Arthur was the victim of a terrible accident while on the job, leaving Lancelot in the care of his grandparents.

The eldest daughter of Celandine Kettleburn nee Toussaint and Copernicus Kettleburn, Charlotte Hannah Kettleburn was born December 15 2075 in the Irish countryside cottage her parents had settled in as newlyweds. She was doted on and very quickly exposed to the nerdy pursuits of her Ravenclaw parents to the point where one of her first words was 'Pharaoh', and she had a collection of rocks before she was two years old. She wasn't the only child for long however, her brother Callum Kettleburn was born June 11 2077, and sister Chloe Kettleburn followed on March 21 2080.
When Chloe was a toddler, Charlotte put her in Zahra Kettleburn's trunk and attempted to send her to Hogwarts along with her aunt Zahra and cousin Michael Toussaint who were third years at the time. However the gig was soon up and Chloe's little adventure was cut short when Char admitted to their mother that she had sent her away to Hogwarts. She got in a lot of trouble but after that she began to warm up more to Chloe and became slightly more willing to share their very patient brother with her. When it comes to anyone else, she is fiercely protective of both her brother and her sister.
Charlotte lives with her family in the Kettleburn ancestral home, Roseacre, which is in the village of Grasmere in the Lake District, which her father inherited when she was just a toddler. When she is home she spends most of her time outside playing in the gardens.
Charlotte is a bubbly, friendly girl and in this way she often reminds people of her mother. However Charlotte is rather more of a whirlwind who tends to leave destruction and exhaustion in her wake as she has an abundance of energy and curiosity which sees her getting into all sorts of things. She's very smart and very creative. As a child she was prone to wild flights of fancy and making up stories for fun, though as she experiences the world this tendency is becoming less. She also is fairly impatient and impetuous, rather lacking in her attention span, and quite the fidget so that she rarely sits still. Conversely, she's surprisingly astute and observant, and because of her innate curiosity she tends to notice the little details that other people miss, especially when it comes to people and their moods. She is bold, enjoys exploring, and likes to be the boss. She is used to being heard and will always speak up if she has an opinion or a question. Charlotte loves animals of all kinds, magical and mundane. She and her best childhood friend David Truebridge once attempted to create frankenworms from regular garden worms and flobberworms by cutting them in half and attaching them together, which worked for about six seconds. Char is not afraid of getting her hands dirty and loves working in the garden with her mother, or digging in sand with her father who is a wizarding archaeologist.
Char is very close with her siblings, especially Callum. She at times resents her sister Chloe because she doesn't like to have to share Callum with her, or the attention of their parents, but really she adores her baby sister. As she grows older she appreciates her younger sister more and more. She is also very close with her cousins, of which she has plenty. Charlotte generally is a very loving and affectionate girl with her friends and family, and fiercely loyal.
While all Charlotte's grandparents are magical (making her a pureblood by the third generation rule), she has one muggle great grandmother on her father's side. The rest of her ancestry is as pure as it gets and also very international. Her heritage includes French and English on her father's side, and Italian, Russian, and French on her mother's side.

Trixie is a very bubbly person. She loves having fun and doing exciting things. She has an extremely wild imagination and will often twist a story so that it will sound more interesting whether it's true or not. HISTORY
Trixie is an only child. Her parents met in Hawaii while holidaying there. Unfortunately it wasn't the usual romance where two people meet, fall in love and then live happily ever after. Fred and Monique spent two blissful months with each other but neither were the type for commitment and they went their separate ways. A month after they said their goodbyes, Monique found out that she was pregnant. It took her five years to track down Fred so that she could tell him that he was a father. Even though the two now shared a child they still did not marry. Genny was born in a well-balanced and positive atmosphere. She grew up mainly among adults which made her sound more mature than her peers, but that didn't deprive her from having a good venturous childhood. Her favorite place being the treehouse her father built with her just outside their cottage. Giuseppe and Genny have a unique relationship. While he's known to keep a cool facade, Genny openly loves her big brother and enjoys their walks and picnics. Dora had a great life! A mum and dad who loved her to pieces, a twin brother she did EVERYTHING with! She even had a PRINCESS room complete with carriage style bed and EVERYTHING! But then it happened... Her Mum got sick. It came on unexpectedly and it hit hard and mercilessly. While Dora was too young at the time to fully understand, she did know something was wrong. Really, really wrong. Especially when they all packed up and went to Bali to stay a while. Dora loved to play in the water and watch the mermaids... but then again, she knew something was wrong. Her mummy never cried in front of her once, but she knew when she had been. Not to mention all of that, but all of her Aunties and Uncles came round to visit... All the way in Indonesia. Uncle Jimmy even brought her coloring books and stickers to keep her busy.
She knew what was going to happen before she could understand it really.
And then it happened as swiftly as it had all started. Dora watched it happen. Saw it all. And that was when she realized she could see the thestrals. They were prettier than anyone had ever told her. Beautiful in an ugly way. But, then it all changed again. No one was happy anymore. Nobody laughed for awhile, it seemed like... and everyone got real sad. Especially her daddy! The move back to the UK was quick and painless as it could be.

Aoife was born and raised in a small village in Ireland where she has lived with her mother and father in the same house for her entire life. She has a Pureblood heritage, and her parents both went to Hogwarts where they met. Her mother was a Gryffindor and father, a Ravenclaw. She was an only child until recently when her baby brother, Oisín, was born. Aoife resented her parents throughout the entire pregnancy, and developed quite an attitude, but after he was born and she held him for the first time, she fell completely in love more than she ever has before. Even more than Donny Simmons from Primary School. Her parents had always placed Aoife on a pedestal before Oisín was born, and gave her everything she wanted. They pushed her academically, and got her into modelling from a young age, although she isn't sure if she wants to do it forever. Since recently, Aoife has become a bit distant from her parents since they have been busy with the baby, but coming to Hogwarts to learn witchy ways has been a hell of a good distraction.

"Aslan Evans, at first glance, is seen to be an abrasive young woman, with her fondness for words as subtle as a sledgehammer and refusal to beat around the bush when it comes to what she wants. She is ambitious, and calculative – she knows almost exactly what it is she wants and has at the very least a rough idea of how to get there. She does not do well at improvisation, but has been known to take a few large risks. These risks often defining the rest of her life, but really, aren’t those the only risks worth taking?
She is curious and disciplined, having documented at least 75% of Hogwarts’ student body and their responses towards love, relationships, friendships, substance abuse and the like. She is intrigued by society, and yet somehow repulsed by it. It’s one of the things that makes Aslan, well, Aslan. Her cognitive dissonance on this subject and that of the true value of honesty and friendship is one of the things that is most fascinating about her. Jacob Evans met Rose Walsh when the Englishwoman walked into his father's toy shop inquiring after "one of those bouncey muggle bunny-ish things." He gave her the pogo stick after declining her golden coins and insisted on giving her a piece of paper with ten digits.
A week later she came back, lamenting her inability to solve his "bloody riddle" and pleading for an answer. It was only a matter of time before the two fall disastrously in love with one another much to their separate distresses. Both would have to abandon their lives for the other, and both were far too glad to do so. They eloped, running off to the Isle of Skye while they figured out how to break the news to their families, meanwhile, Rose languished over whether or not to tell Jacob of the magical world and her part in it. Ultimately, she decided to keep it a secret until the right time presented itself...

Aslan Rose Evans was supposed to have been a boy and only furthered her mother's beliefs that Muggle Healers were "a bunch of gimps." she was born a month too soon and was spoiled rotten by her maternal grandparents to the chagrin of her poorer, but no less loving paternal grandfather. Time flew by, and although the Evans' led a quiet life, it was a happy one with only the occasional bump in the road.
Her brother Adrastos being one such bump. A happy mistake, Adrastos came out of the womb a wizard. Accidental magic was now a living breathing concern in the Evans' abode and for Rose Walsh it was beginning to feel essential to tell her husband /what the hell/ was going on with his two kids. They went for a drive, and to out it simply, never came back.
Aslan & Adrastos were raised from then on by their paternal grandfather, a kind but gruff Romany man who tried to instill in them the Romany way of life and keep from them the magical world and the remaining family they had tied up with it.
It was only many years later, in Aslan's fourth year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry that her brother realized the truth. After this there came an argument that split the small family in two. Unable to take the deception, as well as to shake the idea of the Walsh's from their minds, the siblings snuck off some time during Christmas Break, trading in London for Belfast in search of a family they had never known. To their surprise Miriam O'Leary Walsh welcomed them with open arms as did their many cousins, aunts and uncles. It was overwhelming, and strange but though Aslan remained untrusting, the Walsh's remained nothing but kind and courteous during their brief stay.
Things had been tense between Alistar and Aslan after that. An unsteady truce that grew warmer with time, and comfort.
