H O U S E E L V E S. Liv was reminded that she needed to speak with them about something. Something of the UTMOST importanance.

"Nobel elves, would you mind terribly if I came to call upon you in the kitchen within the next couple of days? I want to do something special, and I will require your help!" Her voice rose with her growing excitement over the idea of a House Elf fashion show, which was what she'd be speaking to them about, yes. Pretty much. OOC FOREWARNING, all.

As for finger sandwiches, yes. Olivia decided she would very much love one ..... or four. Ahem, growing girl here. Nothing to see. Move along.

"I'm thinking theatre masks! Comedy on one cheek and Tragedy on the other? In crimson and gold, of course." Because Liv was extra Gryffindor, if people didn't know, and she was definitely down to rep their colors. RAWR.

"CAKED WITH THE SHINY STUFF!" You know, as well. Because Olivia Phillips wasn't called a Glitter!Lion for nothing.

Oh, she'd just taken a sip of her very delicious tea! Had she heard properly? Had Professor Newton really developed these blends?! Well, then. Color her tickled, delighted, and all the synonyms that could effectively describe excitement and happiness. HER HEAD OF HOUSE WAS ... like, a Tea God. Statues should be erected in the common room, molded out of mashed together Bertie Bott's and chocolate frogs!

..... and she giggled into her mug, causing a bit of the steaming liquid to go right up her nose and into her airway. Sputtering a bit, and giggling, BUT MOSTLY SPUTTERING, the blonde nodded, a bit flushed from her sudden wheezing fit. Bwaha, YAS! POOP EMOJI SLIPPERS. They'd been a present from her Da, as a joke mainly for her birthday, but Liv had instantly fell in love with the gag gift. "My Da got them for me. Aren't they fabulous sir??" She arched and flexed her feet in them a bit to model the poops. Hehe. THE POOPS. "I could get you a pair, as well! We could be twinsies!"

ALSO, also, alsooooooooo "This tea is wonderful and I think I'm in love with it." DRAMATIC SWOONING. Completely ridiculous Liv!behavior, tbh! "Could I purchase it for my upcoming tea parties??" She already had so many scheduled.

Alice almost nodded and then thought better of it. "That would be awesome! Yes, please!" She was sure Max would be annoyed if she learned it elsewhere but it couldn't be bad to at least look at a flyer.

Then there was a giggle and Alice blushed a little. Cause Char already knew she thought Callum was cute. She had since last year. "Yeah? Maybe i'll keeo an eye out for him then." Her blue eyes traveling the room a little.

Holy invasion of the house elves. Kaycee looked around as one by one they made an appearance. With stuff! She helped herself to a sammich and some pumpkin juice.

Kaycee made her way over to the younger gryffindor and sat next to her. "Yes. Of course. Go ahead." she said with a smile. Red and gold sounded like the perfect way to show off house pride.

Especially if it moved. That would be good practice for the younger girl.

Oh noes! Oh noes!

Schmoop hoped he wasn't late for the house party in the Gryffindor Tower! Bad bad oven burned some of the good cookies and Schmoop had to whip a quick batch all over again, but just as delicious of course! Yes!

POP!

"Schmoop has cookies! Masterses and mistresses like lion cookies, yes yes?" Schmoop placed a wide plate filled with lion-shaped chocolate chip cookies on the nearest table. Flour still covered parts of Schmoop's ears but this was all for the masterses and mistresses!

Schmoop did a happy dance! Fun fun fun party!

Art smiled proudly. Mr Salander's words made Art feel very pleased with himself. "Thank you Mr Salander," Art said with a gleeful chuckle. He listened VERY intently as the young man explained the teas he had mixed. "Well, I'm very impressed myself," he said. "Er.. f-five points to you, young man, for excellent creativity and... and excellent analytical skills. I think those skills will get you FAR in Potions. W-would you mind mixing me something too?" he asked, curious to see what the flavours all combined as.

The sandwiches from Quirly were delicious. "Did you make these?" he asked. "Er.. o-ok-okay, well... wonderful," Art said in response to Quirly. He didn't really know what to say to an elf who had spent all summer doing chores. He supposed they were used to it, of course, but Art had never really met the Elves during his time as a student. And even after he finished his education, he didn't know any. So, he really didn't know a great deal.

Art simply couldn't contain his laughter at Miss Phillips' slippers. He laughed and laughed. It was a bit poor of him as a responsible adult, trained healer, and Professor in the room, that he wasn't overy concerned about her coughing fit. He was about to give her a clap on the back, but she cleared her airway just fine on herself. "Oh... well I'd definitely wear them with pride too! I just.. w-well I've never seen anyone wear anything like... well like THAT before," he wiped his laughter tears away. "Oh, dear me NO, it's not for sale, I can easily whip some up for you though. In no time! Tell me how much you need and I'll get it ready." The ingredients came from his own little supply at home, or discounted from the shops he ordered his ingredients for.

And then there was Schmoop to add to the party. "Welcome Schmoop," Art said to the little elf. He smiled at him as he danced to the music, and Art said "Would you like me to offer the cookies around so you can have a dance? I'll let people know that YOU brought the cookies though." Art wouldn't take credit. But this WAS a party, and Art liked to think of everyone having fun.

Help? Student wanted help in a few days? Nimma shook with excitement. "Nimma loves to help mistresses and masterses! Nimma can help mistress right now!" No need to wait a couple of days. "Nimma will be right back to help mistress." With that, she ran off to find a place to set down her tray of drinks where it won't be knocked over.

Noelle's smile was widening as more and more people were appearing in the Gryffindor Tower. Well.. and elves. She hadn't had much hope for the start of term party at the beginning, and that may be due to the fact that she did miss Professor Flamsteed's ridiculousness. But this party was turning out splendidly! She shouldnt have been so surprised though, I mean, this was the Gryffindor house.

GRYFFINDOR PRIDE!

Noelle grabbed one of the sandwhiches the elves had made and dashed to her dorm. She looked at Ava's bed for a moment before changing her clothes. She needed to get into the Gryffindor spirit just like her mates. She pulled on her Gryffindor hoodie and her pajama pants that had yellow lions all over it. She pulled her hair into a pony tail so when she got her face painted, it wouldnt get all in her hair. And to top it all off, Noelle put on her long stripped yellow and red socks. Perfect.

Heading back out to the party, she gave a loud Gryffindor ROAR to announce that she was back. Gryffindor pride right? Noelle went over and sat by Kaycee. She didnt know her prefect personally, so that should change right? Plus, Char was painting her face and she was next in line... hopefully.

Noelle giggled at Liv. She loved the girls spirit. She saw Ace talking about the teas to the Potions Master, aka HoH. That reminded her. She needed another cup of tea. Which one to get. "Which is your favorite tea?" Noelle asked whoever was in hearing distance. Someone was sure to answer.

Whoah wait did he hear that right? Five points for him?

"Thanks Professor Newton!" the Curly Top beamed happily. Creativity and analysis... well yeah come to think about it now. But really he was just geeking out over culinary matters. But now that the Potions Master mentioned it, he started to see the connection between his innate culinary passion and the fundamentals of Potioneering. Such insight, likely life changing "You want this blend too Professor? You got it!" And zoom there he goes fixing the man a cuppa.

He comes back with a nice steaming cup of Gryfferin tea. "Here ya go Professor. Careful its hot, I had to re-heat the water, get it to the right temperature." he added as he offered the cup gingerly to the other man.

And then Noelle roared. And of course the Gryffindor Ace would ROAR BACK!

More foodsies from the elvsies? But of course give him summa dat! Munch munch on the sammiches and the cookies.

Char got started with her new head of house's face paint. He was going to look MAGNIFICENT.

"This party is so cool, professor! Can we have a Christmas party TOO?" Was it too early to ask? She could help!

She could handle thrashing third years. She DID have a little brother (whereever he had got to, who knew?) so Char went ahead and finished up. Quick dry because magic too.

"No its okay! I'm done! You're done!"


This was perfect. Charlotte leaned over and took a bite out of the floating sandwich and then gave Quirly an appreciative smile.

"Thanks Quirly! Just come over when you are ready for your face paint!"


Sounded perfect to her! Charlotte nodded enthusiastically and got down to work with painting theatre masks on her friend's cheeks, outlined in crimson glitter and with shimmery red ribbons, only stopping to take another bite of the floating sandwich.

Char would get a flyer for Alice, she made a mental note to write home for one as she chewed her sandwich and focused on painting Alice's face.

.... and done! She paused to admire her work. VERY Gryffindor!

"Oh you should." Was it bad that she wanted to see how her little brother, aka her favourite person, handled a bit of flirting? She expected good things from him really, he was just as charming as her dad who was the most charmingest man in the world obviously! "I'm done! You look great!"

Charlotte decided to do something special for Kaycee, using her charmed paints and her wand too. She got to work and painted a shimmering red shooting star on one of the prefect's cheeks, then charmed it so that it would shoot across to the other cheek and turn gold, then back again to red on the other side. Very Gryffinfestive!

"Oh no, Masters Newton!" That was Schmoop's job! Schmoop must offer cookies to masterses and mistresses! "Serving masterses and mistresses is what Schmoop do! Do Masters Newton want cookie too?" Schmoop took the wide plate of chocolate chip cookies again and pushed it towards the

"Lion cookies for masterses and mistresses! Schmoop bake!" Schmoop went around, offered, and raised the plate up.

"Toddles paints. Toddles likes paint. Toddles paints in kitchens on things.." Toddles finds fun.

Toddles hears mistress. Toddles turns head and sees mistress. Toddles bows and says, "Yes Toddles likes. Toddles must paints too."

"Yeah Toddles," Charlotte answered patiently and cheerfully, "But what would you like me to paint on your face?" This elf was kind of an odd one, maybe not the smartest of the Hogwarts elves. Char didn't mind though and saw no reason not to be kind to it.

Big bight elf eyes turned to the young studentes. "Quirly can helps. Quirly will always the studentes of Hogwarts." Al the elves were always to help the masteres and Mistreses they served. Quirly was excited seeing Mistress excitement. "Sammiches Mistress Phillips." Holding up the plate of sammwiches Quirly squealed with excitement as mistress took four sammwiches.

Quirly must punishment selves for squeals. Sitting the plate on the table, she pulled out her spaluta. Bad Quirky, Bad elveses is bad.




Quirly beamed, and bounced around after the studentes takes the sammiches "Dos mistress Richards wants another sammwich?" Quirlys was always tries to do a good job.

Quirly sees master Salander taking sammwiches and cookies. "Dos master Salander wants juices? To goes with the sammwiches and cookies?" Quirly would get juice if master needs it.

Nodding the house elf didn't know what else to say to Masters. "Quirly is a goods elveses.'' Quirly thinks so anyway. Quirly thinks she should offer Master Newton mores sammwiches. Holding the plate high above her head. "Masters wants more sammwiches?" Flashing a hopeful look.



Keeping the sammwich floating in front of Mistreses Kettleburn so she can eats. "Mistress Kettleburn, cans finishes her foods, first." Elveses serves studentese first, and formost, Then elveses cans has their funs time for face paints. Yes, Yes. "Cans mistreses Kettleburn panits Quirlys spatula on Quirlys face?" Quirly is not picky.

"Well, no, thank YOU," Art said with a chuckle to Mr Salander. He carefully took the tea and took a little sip. His face animated into delight, "Mmmm, that's really brilliant!" he said. Miss Summers was there, and Art just had to say "Whatever Mr Salander did with this, it's my favourite." Indeed the flavours were complex and complimenting. "What's your favourite tea?" he asked Miss Summers, in reply.

Art was careful not to move as Miss Kettleburn painted his face. Once she was finished he felt very jovial. "How do I look?" he asked. "Christmas! I don't see why not! Would you like to help plan it?" he asked. He was ALWAYS up for a party. Art had never seen a student dedicate some time to paint faces, rather than go off and eat and chat. And the way Miss Kettleburn was helping bring the House Elves into the party was very much noted. "Five points Miss Kettleburn! For... for bringing a little extra spark to the party, and for including our dear House Elves." Art thought they were dear, anyway, doing everything around the school. "A spatula will look fantastic," he said to Quirly.

Well, Schmoop didn't like that idea. Art gave a little chuckle. "Okay Schmoop, okay, but... do you at least get to try your cookies before you give them out?" he asked. Surely the elves all deserved a nice snack of delicious cookies. Art took one, bit into it, and said "Mmm they are truly fantastic!"

Quirly was there, and Art was enjoying chatting with the elves. "You are a very good elf Quirly! I'd give you some points if I could," he said. But unfortunately the elves weren't part of a house, so he couldn't. "What sandwiches are your favourite?" Art asked, as he accepted another sandwich. "Delicious."

"Mistress can paints...a sock!" Toddles loves socks. Dobbies used to love socks. Toddles finds soft. Toddles thinks of things. "Mistress can paints pumpkie. Toddles likes pumpkie juice."
