A funny inscription etched on the door with a potions knife reminds us all of the great deeds Harry Potter and his friends performed in this very bathroom during their time at Hogwarts. While this second floor bathroom is indeed still haunted by Moaning Myrtle, it is no longer nearly as shifty as it used to be in Harry Potter's time.
And hopefully, these days the toilets are only being used for.... well, toilety things, not for brewing potions.

For Ariadne/Anna
The third year should have listened to her mother when she tried to get her to cut her hair over the summer. Katerina was heading up to the seventh floor when she couldn't take it anymore. Luckily she was currently on near the second floor girls bathroom. So she ducked out of the crowded corridor into the bathroom.
Hopefully she had a hair pullback in her bag, she could do some transfiguring on it and shorten it up a bit. If she was any good at transfiguring hair. Or she could always do a severing charm and risk cutting to much off or some other body part. That would not be good. She was still looking for a pullback, with out any luck.

Ariadne was heading back down to the common room from one of the many classes she had today, when she decided to make a quick stop in the girl's bathroom. Since she'd turned thirteen, she'd taken to checking her appearance throughout the day. Not because she was vain or anything, though, but because she was mindful of whether or not she at least looked decent.
Walking in, her brown eyes instantly settled on a girl she'd come to know quite well since starting school here at Hogwarts. "Hey, Kat! What's up?" she greeted. What's up, as in...how's your day going. Not what's up as in asking what the other girl was doing in here. That'd be just gross. The girl looked like she was digging in her bag for something in particular, but Ariadne just assumed it was a hairbrush or something.
"You need a brush or something?" she asked.

Yep she was just going to give transfiguring it a try. because She was not finding a hair pull back anywhere in her bag. May she would just leave it down. She would just to do that. She looked up and seen her mess of hair. Great it looked awful. Kat frowned and started her search for a pull back.
She heard someone walk in, she didn't even take the time to look up. That was until she heard a voice... a voice that she knew."Hey, Ariadne, fixing my hair. What's up?" Relived that is was Ariadne, and not anyone else that would have found this situation funny. "No I'm looking for pullback." She said digging through her bag once more,

Nooooboooody cared about pooor ollld Myrtle. Those nasty poltergeists had been getting alllllll the attention lately and nobody had even bothered to visit Myrtle. Myrtle turned on all the taps in the bathroom and floated around the room wailing and crying as the bathroom flooded. ”Nooooobody evvvverrr pays anyyyy attention to poooor, ollllld, misssserrrabllle moaaaaning Myrtle!

Kat was still looking in her bag for a hair pullback. She was just about to give up and just keep her down. It was starting to look like Ariadne wasn't going to be much help, by the looks of things. Hearing someone else come in, Kat was hopeful that maybe they could help.
