Classes were finally over, thank Merlin. She had a packed schedule and a headache to boot. So now she could head to the dorm and crash for awhile. Dinner could wait because right now her bed was calling her and keeping away from a certain prefect was a mission anymore. After their talk she was determined to never find herself face to face with him again. She was single now and single was good. Zay and Alex told her this was a good thing and she was going to finally listen to them.

Take care of yourself... that's what she was going to do. Plus she did have the band to worry about. It was almost Halloween weekend and she didn't even have a costume yet. That would have to be decided quickly and what they really wanted to the room of requirement to look like. Maybe a haunted house? Maybe just some fun decorations and them playing music everyone could dance to.

Noticing her shoe was untied Nat bent down to tie it before making the rest of the journey to the common room.

Cal felt good. Oh, he felt reeealll goood. Snog-a-thon 2k90 was going surprisingly well. Amazingly well!....Suspiciously well....

Hadn't had any annoyances from Aslan or Daxton lately. That's good right? Unless they're up to something like the menaces they were.

Cal instinctively halted to a stop sensing something in front of him. He looked down at the crouched figure, poking the back of the girl. "Who's this?"

Was he wearing slippers or something? Nat didn't hear anyone coming up behind her and when the poking happened she jumped. "What the...Cal what are you doing?" She finished her shoe and got up looking at him. "What are you up to?" She knew about his snogging thing, but wasn't going to bring it up. She did stick up for him with it the other day at the lake.

"Headed back to the common room or were you just leaving it? Since she was turned she wasn't fully sure which way he had come from. Maybe he could tell her if Hugo was in there so that she knew not to go in or even be her shield until she could head to the girls dorms.

He jumped when she jumped, but he, of course, tried to play it off like he was shaking his legs out. "Nat! Fancy seeing you around 'ere." He cleared his throat, moving to touch his toes. "Leg cramps...what can you do? Heh."

Cal straightened himself up, stretching his lower back. "IIIIIIII....uh....was just headin' back. I just went to get some cookies at the...uh...the.." His finger pointed over his shoulder. "Kitchen." Nod, nod. "You heading out?" He asked.

Suspicious

Cal was being super suspicious.... She watched him for a moment before she gave him a little smile. "Well I am a snake, so this would be where I was most of the time." He did remember they were in the same house didn't he? Was he feeling alright? Too many snogs could give him mono, he did know that right? Did mono affect your brain and make you not remember things? She wasn't fully sure, but she just kept eyeing him a bit. "Why do you have leg cramps?" Her eyes moved to his legs, did he need help to a healer?

"I was thinking about grabbing dinner, but my bed seemed more on my mind then food, so was headed to the common room actually." She glanced around to make sure a certain person wasn't around. She was doing great at this avoidance thing, "We could walk together, maybe even hangout in the common room if you wanted." Buddy system was best, if she was with another person she wouldn't seem to be alone or like she was really trying to avoid. She had to come off cooler then that.

Then a light bulb went off... There could be a way to help Cal with his snog number and her have a little fun. She wondered what snogging would do to a certain prefect if he happened to be around when it happened.

Obviously. He shouldn't have asked. Anyway, it wasn't any of his business. Leg cramps? What was she going on about? Cal stuck his hands in his pockets, glancing up at the ceiling.

....OH LEG CRAMPS.

The ones he was currently having. Right, right, right. "OH, NAH, nah. Just you know from lack of potassium probably." Ahem. "Nothing serious."

Cal watched her talk, noticing her flighty eyes. He turned to look behind him. "Are you waiting for somebody?" Not that he would mind hanging out with anybody else, but he'd definitely wants a heads up. Like...what if it's another hot girl? Hot girl heaven.

He was acting so weird, what was wrong with him? She kept eyeing him and just getting concerned. "Are you sure you are feeling alright?" He didn't seem like he was or maybe he had to use the loo and was just not wanting to tell a girl he had to number 2. Well that could explain things, but maybe not?

Boys...

"Do you have any bananas? That could be a good way to get what you need for the leg cramps. We could go to the Great Hall together, get some dinner." Not her bed where she wanted to take a nap or just hide, but she'd not be alone if she ran into a certain person either.

oooooh... "No, no not waiting on someone. More like avoiding someone. " She paused and thought about things for a moment, "Cal... how is your snogging thing going? You getting a pretty high number?" She could up it one more if he would want to do a little favor for her.

It was after classes were done for the day, and Henry headed down the stairs to the dungeons. He remembered Tak mentioning to him that the dungeons would be a good place to run and, even if he wasn't fully sure that was the best idea, he was kind of curious about how that might work out. The fifteen year old really enjoyed running outside, even in the cold, but he did wonder if it really would be a better option when it was really cold outside.

Once he reached the edge of the corridor, Henry stopped and peered inside. Sure, he had been down here before for Potions class and to work on homework, but now he was looking at it in a new light. And speaking of light, it was awfully dim down here, wasn't it? Plus the corridors seemed a little more winding. Running through here might be a challenge, almost like an obstacle course, but he was always up for a challenge.

Noelle was heading out of the potions lab, her head reaming with the tips and potion that her and Professor Newton just performed. He was helping her strengthen her skills in potions because she needed top potion scores to be able to be an animagi. Noelle was all about goals lately.

Her schedule was stretched then right now, but everything was new and she was doing a trial and error. She wasn't hoping to accomplish everything this year, but she was excited and seemed to have taken on a little too much this year. Next year, she would space her time out a bit more.

So her mind was occupied as she rounded the dungeon corridor. It was dark and moist down here. She should be looking up, but for mental reasons, she wasn't.

No matter what the dungeon corridors were like, Henry had made up his mind to try running its course, at least this once. He just hoped there weren't too many people trying to walk that might get in his way or he in theirs.

He began stretching out his muscles a little as he always did before a run when he heard footsteps approaching. Turning, the fifteen year old watched as Noelle started walking towards him, seeming to not have seen him. Not wanting to get run over, plus would normally talk to her anyway, Henry cleared his throat to get her attention. "Noelle, hey... what's going on?" he asked with a smile.

Noelle adjusted her books, slinging her booksack over her shoulder to put the books in there. Her mind on the potion that the professor and her just did. She would be able to pick it up tomorrow and try it out.

Hearing her name, she looked up and saw Henry. A smile sprang to her face because Henry! "Henry! Hey!" She looked and saw his outfit and shoes. "Getting ready to run?" She asked as she moved to the side just in case he took off running.... which really... Noelle would not recommend because... indoors and tight corridors.

Henry waited for a moment until Noelle would realize that someone else was in the corridor with her and recognize that it was him, because she hadn't seemed to have realized that there was anyone around. But it didn't take long and he grinned back as she smiled at him.

"Well... I was thinking about it." Had it been that obvious? He shrugged a little. "Someone mentioned that it might make for an interesting running course and I thought I'd check it out," he explained. "I haven't actually tried it yet." And he wasn't sure exactly what that would be like.

"What are you up to?"

Noelle shifted her sack. The expanding spell had come in handy many times with all the books she lugged around. This time being another handy time. She had about 4 books, potion supplies, several journals, etc. in her pack now. The books she had been carrying were nicely tucked away now too.

Her attention was on henry now though. She hadn't gotten a chance to hang out with him too many times lately due to her schedule so she wanted to make sure the small moments mattered. "It certainly is an... interesting course. That's for sure." She said looking down the dungeon corridor. "You'd have to be on your toes with this course. Think you can handle that?" She asked with a teasing smile. She's seen Henry run before, she knew he was good.

Noelle lifted the strap on her sack when he asked what she was up to. "Potions studying. Trying to get better."

Henry followed Noelle's gaze down the dungeon corridor. He had pretty much the same reaction when it was first suggested to him, but the more he thought about it, the more he wanted to try it.

"I know it's kind of unusual," he chuckled. "But someone mentioned it to me before, to try in case of really bad weather." Henry didn't usually mind rain or the cold when it came to running, but he supposed an indoor course might come in handy during a blizzard or thunderstorm or something. "I think it might be a challenge, but I'm always up for one of those," he added with a grin.

His eyes shifted to her bag as she held it up and he gave her a nod. "Oh.. that's one class I need to put extra work in too." It was a class that gave him some difficulty which was mildly frustrating because he wasn't sure why. Shouldn't it be just like following a recipe?

The course he was about to run was indeed unusual. Noelle was quite amused actually. She wouldn't put it past Henry to get out and try new things. This course being one of them. The look in his eye made her actually want to do it with him......

Noelle turned and put her bag down. Pulling off her cloak, she put it on top of her bag and undid her tie. She was still in uniform because she hadn't had a chance to actually go to her dorm to change since class had ended. "Okay, you've tempted me. Why not let's make this interesting eh??"

It was no mystery that Noelle was competitive. "If I win, you owe me......" What did Noelle want from him?? Hmm... "Something. And if you win you get some extra pointers from me in potions?" Noelle looked at Henry, expecting him to see where her train of thought was going.
