A list of spells to use can be found HERE while the cost of physical actions can be found below. Please note that these actions take away from the Fatigue Points section. Also note that these are only taken into account if you're attacking or avoiding a spell. If you're simply moving around the hall, these points don't need to be considered. Text Cut: Physical Actions _______________ A referee (either Professor Airey or Professor Hirsch) will be present to oversee the duels and will only interfere if the duel ends or any foul play or unsportsmanship-like behaviour is displayed. Health: 500, Magic: 750, Fatigue: 50 Kay was up against quiet and not so sociable Sora. She almost felt bad about having to direct spells at the other woman but then she kept reminding herself that Sora wouldn't be in any real danger. "Hello, Sora! All set?'' The Muggle Studies woman certainly was! She moved off to one side, bowed and raised her wand. Her first spell was the Stinging Hex. Would it hit? Of course Kay didn't have that answer as yet. Half of her hoped it wouldn't but let's see, yes? SPOILER!!: Tracker! |
500 | 750 | 50 She was quite disappointed when Justin didn't show up at their previous duel. Well, it was his fault. But today Sora had another opportunity to duel against the fellow staff. "Bring it on." The divination professor spoke to Kay and bowed back to her opponent. Once the muggle studies professor start the attack, she quickly cast the shield charm deflecting the spell back and followed by curse of the boogies. SPOILER!!: Tracker! |
Health: 500, Magic: 739, Fatigue: 50 Her own spell was being deflected back at her? Not a chance! "Protego!'' Her Shield charm was strong enough to withstand the attacks of both spells; the deflected one and the Cure of the boogies. Not today, Sora. This time around, Kay used back to back spells. First, the Pus Squirting Hex followed closely by the Tickling Charm. At least one of them had to work, right? SPOILER!!: Tracker! |
500 | 720 | 50 Okay. She didn’t mean to underestimate her opponent but The divination professor thought that it’s not difficult to face Kay. She tried not to feel disappointed when the muggle studies professor cast a shield charm to defend her attack. Sora wasn’t a person who liked to attack aggresively unless there was a condition where she had to. Gracefully she deflected both of the attack and didn’t send any more offensive attack. Instead, she cast a featherlight charm on herself. SPOILER!!: Tracker! |
Health: 500, Magic: 712, Fatigue: 50 Kay couldn't help but wrinkle her forehead in confusion. She knew Sora was a gentle person but why was she only deflecting her spells? The Muggle Studies professor sidestepped the first spell but was hit by the second. She doubled up, giggling immensely and failed to realise Sora had cast a spell on her own self. She tried desperately to gain control of her giggles. She slowly pointed a shaky hand at her colleague. "Expelliarmus!'' SPOILER!!: Tracker! |
500 | 685 | 60 Those giggles. A small smirk appeared on her face when she noticed the muggle studies professor got hit by her own spell. HA! How does it feel? Yoon Sora wasn't that gentle though she seemed like she was. When Kay threw another attack, again the divination professor deflected it back, followed by Obscuro. SPOILER!!: Tracker! |
Unlike the other staff duel, this one was more...... was formal a good enough word? Because that's what it seemed like. And there weren't any wagers or stakes in place here: it was just a duel like any other but a duel between two members of staff. Two relatively new members of staff and that made all the difference. Besides, he'd seen the two duellers duel enough times to look forward to this one. Something he was picking up with this duel? Both parties were rather good with their shield charms. A lot of agility went into being able to cast them at the right time to deflect the spell back and both ladies were showing enough of that to, possibly, even show up the men. It was just a pity that this duel hadn't lasted very long. So, when the time came for it to come to a close, the man struck up that shield, saving Kaysha from both spells that had been directed at her. You're welcome. "Excellent, ladies, really and truly. Both of you seem to be particularly great at casting shield charms." Not a bad thing, mind you. "But, today, Sora's taken the lead for this duel. Congratulations, Sora! And well done, Kaysha." Stats: Kaysha Stewart: 93.18% Sora Yoon: 102.67% |
