A passage that couldn't be seen before the flood of 2068-9 is now perfectly visible to all. Headmaster Bontecou once repaired it so that it no longer goes very far, but it does take you indirectly to the entrance of the Slytherin Common Room...if you aren't a Slytherin. If you are one, you'll see a new track that turns right to lead you to your common room - just what you need when you forget the password.
The passage may be dark and winding, and can occasionally smell like sewage (thanks, Myrtle), but that's no excuse for snogging down here!

With Miss Charlotte well on her way to being his girlfriend, Rooney had decided to embrace his adventurous side a little more than usual. Which meant finding places in the castle that he hadn't yet tested out for vocal echoing. The corridors just weren't enough for him and neither was Ravenclaw tower. Maybe the dungeon area would be a good thing for him to practice. AHEM. AHEM, AHEM, AHEM. The echo on his throat clearing wasn't all that great, bUT... He hadn't tested the song out yet.
WHICH song would he try it with?! OH... how he should have planned this!
Did he go for a musical? Did he go for something recent? What did he actually do..? Rooney leant against the wall of the passageway and considered his options.

Only sometimes Maddie and Dima. But yeah. So what was Bronwyn doing down here.

Yeah like Dante would even for a second believe that. Especially in this passageway. Which most of the time smells horrible and was only a short cut to his common room. Also why was he leaning against the dungeon wall. It was a dungeon wall. Nobody cleans those things.

I'm not waiting for her. And she's a Gryffindor, anyway." Yes, his girlfriend was a Gryffindor even though she wasn't his girlfriend yet. It was okay to call her that already. He KNEW he could do it in secret.

He tried not to show how much he was cringing at the evident slop and dirt up his robes. Potentially the worst idea he had had and he definitely wasn't going to be doing it again. And with that Dante walked back towards the slytherin common room. Being vague had worked in his favour and Rooney was now being left alone. He actually sang his goodbyes to the Slytherin, waving like a mad man on purpose. The fact that Dante hadn't twigged that he was being vague on purpose was.. Actually, he probably had figured it out, hadn't he? It wasn't too hard to see, because Rooney often was obvious with things he did when he got so into them. But...he wasn't able to ask, so.. he continued to clear his throat.
And then decided that this was NOT a place to practice. Unless he wanted to catch a disease and die within minutes. That was probably what happened down here.
Back to the hunt and off he went.
