Ever changing practice room

http://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/...ps98oe3duk.gif

As you walk out of the charms classroom there is one other door on your left. This door will lead you into the practice room for your practicing needs. There is one catch about this room. The room itself has been charmed. Now as fun and exciting as that might be, Professor Primeaux has done it to help you learn. Some days the door might be locked so you have to unlock it. Some days the furniture might be in the correct places other days it might be changed to other places. The room will never look the same as you enter for a second time.

When you do enter there will be parchment, books, and a few tables to help you along your way. The only issue will be finding them depending on how the room has been charmed to change on that day. Enjoy and have fun.

OOC: This thread is for RPing, anyone is welcomed to play in this thread with RPs. You can decide what the room will look like during your RP. The room will not change as you are in it. It just changes once daily. Please follow all ss and Charm rules and guidelines.

For winning the Charms Challenge you have earned a party in the Ever Changing Practice room. Professor Primeaux had asked you what you wanted the theme to be and you had picked a forest scene. So has you enter the room you will see think trees at first, but a path right at the door. The path will lead you to an opening where a stream is flowing by. The grassy area looks as if a picnic section has been set up with the food of your choice.

Have fun and enjoy your winning celebration.

When told she had won the charms challenge for her year range and that she could pick the theme of the room she had no idea what she wanted. It had taken some time and a bit of thought before she was able to settle on what she liked. A little bit of home. A theme that she felt most comfortable in. Which only could really mean one thing.

A forest.

Hadleigh had asked Professor Primeaux for a forest them with water and a picnic. Simple. How it would turn out she had no idea but she was ready to find out. They were nearing the end of the term and she was ready to just relax.

Arriving at the door to the room she glanced at Frankie and smiled. Opening the door she slipped her free hand into his taking hold of it and heading through the trees along the path. "This is so amazing..." Just like back home. The trees, bushes and... was that water? It was water!

"Lookit!," Hady grinned up at Frankie gesturing to the opening in the trees where there was a stream and a picnic. Trees. Water. And food. This was perfect. "We can sit and eat a bit, work on our transformations a little." She still wasn't any better then the last time they worked on it.

Two points. She had beaten him by TWO points. Not that it was any surprise to Frankie that Hady would trump him in the challenge. He was sure her time in the maze had gone a lot quicker than his. But the blond didn't dwell on those thoughts for very long. Even though she won a party, she was still kind enough to share her winnings with him. Only him.

That made him smile quite a bit. Especially when they both arrived at the ever-changing practice room. The scene before them was absolutely perfect. A vast forest, a stream, plenty of grass ... and was that a picnic basket?

While the Slytherin was looking around the forested room, the Gryffindor went straight for the basket. After opening the lid, he pulled out a juicy piece of watermelon and took a big bite of it. He then handed it over to Hady. Sharing was caring after all.

"Looks like I got the eating part started," he said, beaming up at her. As for working on their Animagus transformations, Frankie simply nodded his head. They successfully did it for the first time a week ago, though it was still taking a while to get used to. For him, the aerodynamics were something he hadn't quite mastered yet.

Looking around Hady couldn't think of anything that would make this room even better. Except for maybe some animals and a cabin. A small cabin tucked away in the trees. Someday she would have that though. Right now the only thing that was important was having a good time.

A small laugh left her lips when she caught sight of Frankie already going through the picnic basket. "Of course you did, I wouldn't expect anything else," she answered with another laugh. Taking the already bitten slice of watermelon Hady took her own smaller bite taking a seat down in the grass beside him. "Have you tried your changing to your animal form lately?" She hadn't tried at all since they had tried together.

The change wasn't to hard anymore but adapting to the animal was. Knowing that she was still herself helped.

The laugh didn't go unnoticed, but he didn't comment on it. Of all people, Hady was one of the handful that was well aware of his eating habits. If there was food around, he was destined to find it and indulge a little. Only these days he found himself devouring veggies and healthier foods instead of mountains of chocolate and sweets.

After the brunette took the piece of watermelon, the blond snuck his hand back into the basket and pulled out two chicken wraps -- one for himself, the other for his girlfriend. He set those down on his lap, only so he could grab another piece of watermelon for himself. Fruit first, then the actual meal could be eaten.

"Flew down to Care of Magical Creatures a few days ago," Frankie stated, holding out the piece of watermelon in front of him. "Nearly flew into a tree though." It was pretty windy that day, as he was sure she would remember.

He brought the watermelon to his lips to prevent himself from adding that flopped over instead of landing gracefully that day too. Actual flying was very different from flying on a broom, that much he learned rather quickly.

There was never a need to explain laughter to Frankie. If she was laughing it was a good thing. One might think that by now she would be used to Frankie's eating habits and she was but that didn't mean she didn't find it cute. Wherever the food was, her boyfriend was. Simple as that.

With him pulling more food from the basket she didn't see a problem at all with her continued nibbling of the watermelon slice. Hazel eyes did drift towards him to see what else he pulled from the basket, head nodding approval at the wraps. Not bad seeing as she hadn't asked for any specific types of food. She still very much enjoyed her coffee and candy but her eating habits had changed quiet a lot this term taking on a more healthier approach. All the exercising had been really good for her as well and she planned on continuing with that as much as possible.

Hadleigh bite back a quiet laughing shaking her head at him. "You need to be careful before you hurt yourself." She could see him smashing head first into a tree or attempting to land and falling instead of landing it. Being a bird was tough she remembered a few terms ago taking that potion and becoming an owl for few hours. It had been wonderful but flying was not easy!

Finishing off her slice of watermelon she grabbed a napkin from the basket and wrapped up the rind. Setting it in the basket she passed Frankie a napkin as well. "I'm sure it'll get easier the more you fly. Give it a go in here when you're ready." At least she was here in case he fell or anything. And she could transform as well and play in the trees and grass.

The sad thing about anything to do with food was that it disappeared rather quickly whenever Frankie was around. That piece of watermelon that was in his hand was no more, and he was forced to set the green scrap aside. He was tempted to grab himself another piece, but they were limited in number and he technically already ate more than his fair share of it. So he simply started unwrapping his wrap, Hady's still waiting for her in his lap whenever she wanted it.

"What are you talking about?" he asked, pretending that he was hurt by her comment, as he set the plastic aside. A smirk appeared on his face while he examined the contents of the wrap and then Hady. "I'm always careful." At least he was by Gryffindor standards. He hadn't died or poked an eye out yet, thank you very much.

Soon a napkin was right in front of his face. He was just about to take his first bite of that wrap of his too. Simultaneously, he grabbed the napkin with one hand and brought the other to his mouth so he could chomp down on that delicious wrap. While chewing, his eyebrows rose when Hady mentioned that he could give flying another try in here. He swallowed.

"I knew the setting of this room wasn't just a mere coincidence." He grinned. "You'll have to give your form another go too. I'm sure roaming around with a fluffy red tail takes some getting used to."

When it came to eating Hady always ate what she wanted unless for some reason she couldn't. Like when they were training and she had to change her diet around, it had been tough but she had done it. It wasn't often though that she would count what she was eating or if she even cared. It was normal for her and Frankie to eat off one anothers plates so it didn't to her who ate what or how much.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about,"
she answered quietly her voice going along with his as she knew he was messing about. However her eyes showed a hint of concern for him as they always did whenever they spoke about something that could harm him. "I know you are but things can and do happen." This they both knew. He also knew just how protective she could get at times. As long as no one got seriously hurt she was okay.

The napkin was grabbed from her and she dropped her hand to take the wrap that was hers that was still on Frankie's lap. Setting it down on her own and unwrapping it she checked it over making sure it was stuff she would eat. Finding it exactly to her likely she took about and tried not to laugh until after swallowing the mouthful.

"Ah, well when do I ever really do things without a purpose?" Laughing she gave him a bright smile. "If I'm going to do something I don't just settle for anything." Things had to be right. Just like picking a Uni even thought that didn't take as long as she had thought it would. Had she mentioned to him that she had decided where she was going yet? The thought was pushed aside as she looked over at him once more. "I happen to really like my fluffy red tail," she grinned at him. It was the climbing and four paws that sometimes still threw her off a bit.
