Yoongi smiled when he heard that he appreciated the welcome, smiled when he appreciated the apology and smile again when the new Charms Professor told him that his nephew was sorted in Gryffindor as well. However, that smile faded away when said nephew had said that the Prefects had a hand in the food fight.

He looked uncomfortable now. He knew that the Prefects had nothing to do with it as they had been the targets, him the most... But if he said anything, this nephew would get in a lot of trouble for lying. And, well....kids lie... But if he didnt that would make it sound like the Prefects HAD something to do with it. Argh this was difficult! "Uhm, i uh... Don't know" he said , paused for a moment and then ran his hand through his hair in slight frustration.

As the Professor stepped aside and offered tea, he relaxed a bit. He didn't have any specific questions but he always found it difficult to say no to tea. "sure, no sugar please. he said and stepped inside.

The room looked...well it looked like a normal office to be honest. With the big bookcase , desk and chairs and all. As he looked at the pictures om the wall and smiled again. "Is your son a Quidditch player, Sir?" he asked as he pointed his thumb over his shoulder while he looked at the Professor.

Flicking his wand Julien made the tea as the student came into the room. His eyes darting to the picture of his oldest for just a moment, "He does. It was one of the reasons my family moved to London, to be closer to him and get to see more of his games." The rest well he wasn't even sure if he knew all the steps that lead him to this place.

"So tell me young man, what are you hoping to study once you leave here?" He was a seventh year so his future should be on his mind. Planning was everything and keeping organized was a big part of making sure you were ready for NEWTS and your future. He hoped the boy had thought about it at least a little bit. "I don't mean to put you n the spot, but I just assumed someone who became head boy would have a bit of an idea of what he'd like to do."

Tea finished he handed the child a cup and blew on his own before taking a seat behind his desk.

"That's cool" Yoongi answered as he looked back at the picture again. He liked Quidditch but just watching it, he would never want to be a player himself. "It's also cool you moved to London to be close to him" he smiled a bit sadly. His own mother didn't even want to know him... But who cared when he had two cool adopting parents right?!

He took a seat on of the chairs at the other side of the desk and took the cup of tea. "Thank you" he said and did not drink from it immediately because there was already a question thrown at him. One that he had not expected so soon. "Oh! , uhm well..." he thought for a moment. "Well, i did have a conversation with my Head of House last year about what i wanted to do after school" he said. And he had thought about it over the summer whenever his parents brought up the subject. "I'm still thinking if i want to study further or work at the Ministry for the Committee on Experimental Charms" He blew on his tea now and took a sip before he continued. " i like Charms, its my best subject as i got on Outstanding for my OWL" okay now he was bragging a bit but who wouldn't in front of the Professor who's subject was the very same?

Taking another sip from his tea and relaxing more in his chair but still sat with a straight back, Yoongi looked around the office for a second or two, just looking. "I know i want to have a job or study further in Charms at least" he nodded. "We're you always a Charms Professor? at other schools i mean. Sir?" he asked curiously.

Brady looked at the professor man and nodded. "They did." He knew that was what the older students had said to him. "Yeah sure." He smiled. "Do you think they were just messing with me to see if I would actually do it?" He asked the older man as he got up and walked into the office. Why would they do that? Was it because he was little first year that they thought they could control? Oh no if that were the case then he would have find those older kids and tell them whose boss.

Azura had a smile on her face as the Professor said that he thought she could learn it. She knew the cushioning charm was way more advanced them Alohomora! But she hoped she could do it! "Thank you Sir." She said politely as she moved into his office and she sat down. The chair was super comfy!

"As soon as I fell off the wall in the second room, and landed on the floor without being hurt, I knew I wanted to learn that charm." Though at her words, her purple eyes went wide and she tugged at her hair nervously.. She hadn't meant to say that!

Just great Azura.. now he's going to think you are a klutz!

Flying Fwoopers her mouth!

"Thank you again Sir for teaching me, I am anxious to learn." She said quickly, to cover up her last sentence.

"You probably knew my daughter actually. She was a seventh year last year. Keely Primeaux." He pointed to her picture that was hanging behind him. His wife and two daughters smiling back at them with Juni waving every so often.

Sitting and listening to the boy Julien had to say he was a bit impressed. "Experimental Charms?" That was very interesting and he tapped on his desk a bit. "Uni could do you well. Teach you things that you wouldn't have learned here on how to handle experimental without as much danger, but the ministry could be a good place to start at an entry level." He would like to say to all younger students to go to Uni and further your education. Knowledge was key to him and he felt the best place for that was Uni. His own daughter not going to Uni he felt he couldn't be a double standard man, so he just left that option to the head boy.

"I have been. I went to Uni right after Hogwarts and studied advance charms and education knowing I wanted to teach. I worked as a private school professor both in Canada and in London. It's been a passion of mine for a very long time." He was fifty now, so he had been doing this for years.


That was very interesting. He still wondered if it was a way to get the child in trouble or if they really were meaning well by it. Either way Julien didn't mind meeting the students. He was new to the school per say so getting names with faces was his goal. "I'm not sure to be honest, but either way it is a pleasure to meet you." He wasn't going to give the first year a hard time as long as he was respectful.

"So are you settling in well?" Knowing how hard it was to be the new kid, he figured some of the first years were probably feeling a bit overwhelmed by the castle.


He was always happy to teach students that wanted to learn, so of course he would show her how to do the spell. Though he would be surprised if she was able to do it in the first few tries. Moving more in the room he turned towards her and pulled out his wand. "Now this charm needs thoughts of comfort so that you don't make it too hard nor too bouncy." No one wanted to go flying through the air and hit something hard.

"Let's try this part of the floor." Pointing his wand he did a counter clock wise turn of his wrist pointed at the ground, "circueo" The floor didn't change in looks, but to walk on the area you would notice the softness now that replaced the harder floor.

Looking at her he gave an encouraging nod, "You try now."

Azura heaved an inward sigh of relief as he didn't mention her falling off the wall! Good! That was the last thing she needed right now, for Professors to think she was clumsy! She trained her purple eyes on him and listened carefully as he spoke. Thoughts of comfort! She could do that! She thought of how comfortable her four poster bed was in her dorm room and fixed her mind on that as he started to demonstrate the spell..

She watched him carefully, his movements and the way he said the spell, she then looked at the floor and didn't see a difference, but one small push of her toe on the spot where he had charmed had her smiling.. This was an amazing spell!!

"Yes Sir." Azura said with a shy little nod as she stood and then carefully repeated his wrist movement, a counter clockwise move of her wrist and then she pointed her wand down at the floor. With thoughts of her comfy bed in her head, she said clearly "Circueo!" She looked down at the floor, it looked the same.. but did it work?

She pushed her toe against the ground and maybe felt it give ever so slightly, but nothing like how his floor had been..

She looked up at the Professor. "Let me try again!

Brady looked up at the bald man. The first year had a question for the man but he couldn't remember what it was. The Scottish boy looked around the office. Maybe looking around would jog his memory. Oooh! "Sir, what is charms like? Is it fun?" That's not what was going to ask but it was a good start becuase Brady wanted to know more about char,s.

Settling in well? "I suppose I am." Bradson shrugged. "It's all a big change and all. I'm used to living with my gran and my little sister so it's a huge change for me." Brady nodded, he really did love this castle and it was nice not having his five year old sister pulling his hair for fun but he had a feel Kat would do that to him.

He leaned against his desk and watched. He watched her wrist movement and then her words. "The first step in any spell is trying so you are on the right track. Make sure you move your wrist like this and not too sloppy like that." He showed her both ways before giving her the floor again.

"Confidence will help in any sitation when it comes to spell work. You have to be confident in what you are doing."

"Charms is difficult, but it can be fun. Charms can help you make illusions when you need them, it can help you clean and do your chores, it can give you the best entertainment and get you through very hard situations. Charms is something that every witch and wizard should be able to do, but some can not because they lack the effort in learning." He loved his subject and couldn't understand anyone not wanting to learn how to do it.

"You will get use to it. All first years go through this. That's why your house becomes more of a family then just housemates. You are all going through this together. It gets easier each year. Hogwarts becomes more of a home then a school for some." He knew that wasn't true for everyone, but for most it was.

Azura looked at the Professor carefully as he spoke and she was glad that she was on the right track. Her purple eyes were intent as he showed her the correct wrist movements.. and she practiced it again.."So like this?"She asked as she did it.. before he gave her the floor again.

Confidence.. right. That seemed to be her issue really. She wasn't too confident in herself, but she had done charms before, she knew how to do healing charms and she unlocked and locked the doors on the first try! She could do this! Especially if it was to save her poor nose!

"All right." She stood up and did the correct wrist movement, pointed her wand at the floor, thought of her comfy bed and said "Circueo!" with confidence!!

Still the floor made no indication that she had done anything.. but she pushed her toe down and it squished a bit!

"I did it! I think...." She said as she poked at the floor a bit more.

The first year blinked at the professor. "It can be fun? Do you put fun into your classes , sir?" Brady was curious about the fun party because he wasn't sure this guy was fun. "I'm sure you can be fun, sir but your baldness makes you look serious." The eleven year old was just telling the truth. He hoped the professor didn't mind at all.

"So I can use it to clean up after myself instead of using my hands?" Brady knew that was possible, his grandmother did it all the time. He just didn't know that there was a word for it. "I can only use it at Hogwarts?" He asked. he knew there was some kind of law about students using magic outside of Hogwarts but he didn't know what it was all about but talking about this charms thing really peaked his interest.

"The only positive side that I really love about being here and away from my family is I don't have my five year old sister pulling by hair when I'm trying to play my guitar." That was a BIG thing that Bradson was still very happy about. He wasn't too happy about the homework side of things though.

Julien watched and nodded as she tried again, "Azura, what is something you are really good at? I want you to focus that confident energy into your spell work. You can do wonders with a little reassurance that you can do it." He moved around his desk as she went at it again.

Taking his foot and touching the area she had just charmed, "Very good, see with practice and faith you can always be successful. One is not successful if you don't try though, so bravo for stepping up and trying." It took bravery to step out of your comfort zone and try something new he would give her that.

He looked at the kid curiously, "My baldness has nothing to do with my personality young man and it wouldn't hurt you to think before you speak, especially to adults." Offending the wrong person could land the kid in detention or worse, dead one day. "I think making learning fun and enjoyable is a way to make every student successful, but there has to be order along with the fun. If it gets out of hand or people can't handle fun, then it will be ruined and punishments will need to be put in place."

He watched the boy for a minute before chuckling, "Yes you can use it, it's a very good charm to know. I'm afraid you will have to wait until you are of age to use it outside of school, but there is something about doing things the muggle way at a younger age that helps you appreciate our way when you are older. Learning how to use your hands and not your wand is just as important as learning to use your wand." What would happen if he got stuck int he muggle world for long periods of time. Yes, Julien thought it was very important to learn these skills.

"Siblings will do that. I have a few of my own."

His daughter? Yoongi looked at the moving picture behind the Professors desk. He smiled a little as they waved every so often and out of instinct he waved back a bit. "Uhm, im sorry sir but i did not know her..." he said truthfully and quickly took another sip from his tea.

As he spoke of his future plans, the Head Boy kept his gaze at him, trying to see if he was impressed. He had to be, right? Come on it was his subject! Getting no such praise, Yoongi sighed and went to answer him instead. "I was thinking of going to Uni first as well" he said. "Professor Flamsteed told me of an Uni that would be perfect for my Charms" he grinned. Did he get it?! CHARMS LOL. Flamsteed hadn't laughed at his Charming jokes but he was sure this one would get them.

Wow. It sounded like he had done a lot of teaching and studying himself. He personally wouldn't mind some extra studying but a teaching job? Ew that would so not be for him. "How long have you been teaching, sir?" he asked. "You must be really good if you teached at so many places" or really bad ....but better not ask that ahem. "Oh also, why did you wanted to teach Charms?" questions questions questions wtf~

Something she was really good at? It only took a second for her to reply, "I'm very good at playing the piano, Professor." She said with a nod. She had been playing since she was three, she was confident in that ability at least!

Azura had to hold back a squeal as the Professor said she had done it! "Thank you Professor, It did take a lot for me to come here and ask, and thank you again for helping me with this." She said with a warm smile up at him, her purple eyes sparkling happily.

She had done it!!

He didn't know Keely, that was.. interesting. "I thought you might have known her being that she was in your house and only a year older." He shrugged it off, but wondered how social his daughter was, hopefully she made some good friends here. Which he thought she had, maybe the Head Boy was the unsocial one. That could be it as well.

"There are a few great Uni's that are perfect for Charms. I can get you a list." He would love to share his Charms knowledge for an aspiring student. "Oh did he?" He hadn't spoken to the man much since the feast and well that impression sat poorly on him. Would he know a charms school? "What school did he suggest?" He was skeptical he'd admit.

How long he had been teaching that was a question he often thought about when evaluating his career choices. "I have been teaching for 27 years now. Started when I was 23." He couldn't believe he had been doing this 27 years now. "I love Charms and wanted to be able to share that love with others." Teaching was his first choice for some time.

"You did do it! Very impressive for a firs year." He was impressed, he really didn't think he'd see her doing the spell today. "You might just be a natural at this subject." He looked to the floor and back up to her, "Did you need help with anything else?" He wasn't pushing her out, but if she already mastered the spell she might not want to hang around any longer.

Azura's purple eyes were practically glowing with happiness as the Professor spoke. "Thank you Professor." She said as she tried not to bounce around happily, she had been thrilled when she had gotten the locking and unlocking spell on her first time!

But this!

EEEEEEE!

"I hope so Professor, My mom is a Healer and I want to be just like her, you need to be good at Charms and potions for that." She said with a warm smile.. before shaking her raven head..

"No that's it, Thank so much Professor! She grinned at him happily, before she gave him a wave and bounded out of his office.. Though she slowed to a walk quickly.. she didn't want to use the spell right now!!!

This office was so nice. Jaemin stepped inside cautiously when the professor allowed him entry and looked around curiously; there was so much to see in this castle, no matter where you went. The small boy was immediately distracted by the pictures on the walls and wandered closer to them to look, pushing up on his tiptoes to see them better. A lady, and kids? The professor's family, right?

Oh right. The professor. Jaemin blinked and turned away from the wall to look at the man. He'd momentarily forgotten why he was there!

"There's a charm to put a bubble around your head." He held his hands up, as if to show the professor where the bubble would be. "I was wondering how it works... and if you can make it up a bubble around all of your parts."

All four feet of him. You know, Professor?

He watched the child walk straight for the portraits. Most of them did, especially the one of his son in his quidditch robes. Though this one went to his wife and daughters. Soon though he was turned and asking his question already. "That is an interesting charm to be asking about. Is there a specific reason you want to know?" He wasn't planning any deep lake fishing or something involving places he shouldn't be.

Moving around to his chair Julien took a seat and pulled out his wand making the lighting a bit brighter. "The spell is a bit more advanced then a first year, but it is a charm that puts a bubble around your head so that you can breath. Most use it to go deep into water.' He wasn't getting any ideas now was he? Julien wouldn't have that. "The bubble-head charm is exactly that. It's for your head." He wasn't liking where that conversation could go. He could just imagine students charming themselves into bubbles. Yes, Julien Primeaux would just keep the bubble-head charm exactly that a charm for the head.

When the professor moved to sit, Jaemin did as well, sinking into one of the nice, warm, comfortable chairs on the other side of the desk. He wiggled around a little before getting settled, sitting on the edge of it with his hands in his lap. Sooooooooft...

"I um..." How was he meant to explain this? The small Slytherin wrinkled his nose and chewed on his lip for a moment, trying to organise his words. "Professor Flamsteed used it in Astronomy to protect himself from the bad smells in the room, and I thought that if it could protect you from bad smells and stuff... it might keep out other things. Like... when other students throw things."

Like food. At foodfights. Which he despised, Professor. Absolutely despised. But if the bubble head charm itself was too advanced for him, then surely anything that put a bubble of safety around him entirely would be way, waaaay too difficult.

"I don't wanna go in the water," he added belatedly. Though he was sure there was quite a bit of stuff to explore in there, he knew from his common room window that there were a lot of creatures in there as well, and he definitely wasn't tempting that fate.

Professor Flamsteed had done the spell, he held back a chuckle, because children could have a certain smell to them. He didn't blame the professor for wanting to keep them out if they were extremely stinky that day. "That sounds like a very good reason to have that spell handy, but if anyone is throwing anything it might not help you. Though if someone tries to send a dungbomb it could help block the smell." He laughed at his own small joke. Yes it was lame, but he still laughed.

"Alright take out your wand. If you want to learn, you need to know the movements. You do a counter clock wise movement around your head like so." He did the movement to show how. "Making sure you are doing this correct is very important. If you don't you could have a bubble that doesn't hold up when you need it."

He looked at the boy in front of him, "Now you try."

Jaemin wasn't going to lie. Private lessons were his very favourite kind of lessons. Even if the professor didn't think that the bubble thingy would protect him from thrown stuff, just knowing that it was an advanced spell and the man was willing to try and teach him made the small Slytherin light up like a Christmas tree that was on the verge of being a massive fire hazard. He found it absolutely fantastic that professors had so much faith in him that they would try to teach him stuff like this!

The small boy fumbled around his pockets for his wand, pulling the stick out carefully and doing his customary check to make sure it hadn't gotten cracked or snapped. He was getting a lot better about not sitting on it now, and it had only taken a few months! Wand firmly gripped in his small fist, Jaemin focused all his attention on the professor while also doing his best to contain his very bubbly excitement.

It was another very specific spell, it seemed. He watched the professor intently, making a mental note of the counterclockwise-ness; often, when there was a clock-related movement in a spell Jaemin's wand hand would absently start drawing small circles in the specified direction, and today was no different. He didn't even notice his own movements until the professor told him to try, and he nodded before holding his wand up and copying Professor Primeaux's movements.

"Like this, right?" His circle was a little choppier, but it was still a circle, so it counted... maybe? He repeated it a few more times, just to be sure. At least it wouldn't be difficult to remember.

The new Charms professor seemed like such an uptight old fuddy-duddy to Peeves that it was really no surprise that his office would be the same way. Just look at the place with everything in its proper order - How boring!!

Peeves thought he could teach him how to have a little bit of fun, so he waited until the professor's office was completely empty to do a little redecorating. He "borrowed" two cans of silly string from a first year's dorm room and sprayed them around the room, purple in one hand and pink in the other. Once they were empty, he threw them to the floor and headed for the man's desk.

Ooooh, look at all the graded papers! Peeves grabbed a handful and threw them up in the air, cackling as they came down in a shower. And as for the people in the framed pictures? He picked up a quill and gave them all ink mustaches.

HEHEHE!!

He watched as he did the circle and went over reaching for his wrist. "Keep it tight like this." He straightened the wrist out and did the motion with the Jaemin. Stepping back he demonstrated with his own wand again, [b] "Make sure the circle is flowing smoothly.

"Now for the words, you must same them clearly and with determination. You have to be confident in your spells or they will not listen to you." Lifting his wand he did the movements, "Viseo Ebullio"

"Now you try"



He had just gotten back from dinner and lifted his wand to unlock the door, grabbing the handle he pushed the door open and froze. "What in the bloody hell are you doing?" He was not a fan of Peeves as a boy and he sure in the heck wasn't a fan of him now. "Why hasn't the other ghost gotten rid of you yet?"

He lifted his wand to eliminate the problem when the door behind him started to slowly open from a knock, "Come in at your own risk." Who could be out there now? He was trying to deal with this mess.

Haddie cautiously approached the door again, collecting sheets of paper that had escaped. What on Earth was going on in there...Oh.

Peeves.

Ordinarily Haddie would find his antics hilarious and fun, but today she just wasn't feeling it. "I can wait until you're not busy," she said. "Or I can run downstairs and get the Bloody Baron if you want?" It was as much a threat aimed at Peeves as it was an offer to Professor Primeaux. "I'm sure he's bored and just itching for some fun." That one was entirely for Peeves. A bit of the old Haddie mischievous sparkle had returned to her eyes.
