After what seemed like ages the first year was finally able to make his around the castle. He was so excited about being able to explore the castle. He actually couldn't believe it. He was here! At Hogwarts. Finally. It took his whole eleven years of life to finally get here and he was so excited that he didn't know what to do.

The badger sat down and leaned against the wall. He adjusted his guitar to his liking and he started to play in smoothly, the boy didn't know what he wanted to play so he just strummed a few chords, something would put into his brain. It was hard when he didn't have a song stuck in his head for once.

Brady looked around as he played his guitar. He was trying to figure out what he was going to be playing and possibly singing. This happened to him sometimes, it happened when he was really happy or really, really sad. He didn't know why and he really didn't want to know why, partly due to the sad part.

Arista decided a good walk around Hogwarts would do her some good. She loved exploring places, it wouldn't really be exploring since she knew Hogwarts like the back of her hand. Speaking of hands she looked down at her hand and was shocked to see she had a new scratch...Interesting.

The redhead's heels clicked against the floor as she walked along the seventh floor corridor always nice up here. Continuing her walk she heard a few chords, where was that coming from? Following the sounds she found a boy sitting down on the ground leaning against the wall. "Hey there. How are you doing?"
She eyed the guitar remembering how she almost learned how to play instead she opted for the piano.

Huff huff... Pant pant..

Azura was leaning on the side of the corridor panting heavily, while being in Ravenclaw was amazing and all that, the stairs were not her friends! She has already tripped going up them once and slipped going down them as wel!

Maybe she should have been a Hufflepuff? She had heard they were extremely good finders! Their common room was on the ground floor, which meant less tripping for her!

She closed her eyes as she got her breath back and put some more weight on her ankle... It seemed to be okay!

Wimple, Wimple, Wimple Wimple!! Haddie came skipping down the corridor, happily humming to herself. The Owlery was where she was headed, jar of beetles in one hand and small plush shark in the other.

Wimple, Wimple, Wimple, Wimple!! That owl always made her laugh. She didn't pick him out, he was a gift, but it still seemed like they were a match made in Ollivander's. The owl just got her. And she got him. Plus, his expressiveness was so comedic and made her laugh constantly.

Wimple, Wimple, Wim...ple? Haddie skip-skidded to a halt as she passed one of her fellow first year Ravenclaws that she hadn't met yet. The start of term feast hadn't made her very popular with her house overall, so she was still learning who was who.

"Um," she glanced around the corridor for anyone else, but it was pretty empty today. "You're not dying are you?"

Azura was still leaning on the wall, attempting not to fall over when she heard a voice and her purple eyes snapped open to look at the speaker!

She saw it was a fellow Ravenclaw, one she hadn't met yet! "Oh.. um.. no." She didn't think so at least! Was the burning in her lungs death?

"My Lungs just burn a bit from the climb up here, so I was catching my breath." She explained with a nod as she looked at the girl curiously. "I'm Azura Kennedy." She said by way of introduction.. Did she see her at the feast? She wasn't sure!

What was that noise? Bradson stopped playing his guitar and looked around for the thing or person that was making that noise? Had that Henric guy called his grandmother? He better not have! If it was his grandmother he was so dead! The first year looked up at the person that was making that noise and he was so happy to see that it wasn't his grandmother. What a relief!

The Scottish boy stopped playing his guitar when an older girl had started speaking to him. "Hello." Bradson said with a smile. "I'm doing pretty good. You?" He asked the older girl.

Haddie tilted her head, as if suddenly more alert. "Uh-huh..." she said, but it sounded as if she hadn't heard at word the girl said. The first year's brow furrowed and she leaned in, looking at the other girl's eye. Or rather, intensely studying them. "Azura, got it. H-how did you do that with your eyes? Can you teach me?"

Ahh.. right.. It was the first meeting and so that meant.. stare at her eyes!

Azura held perfectly still as the girl leaned in to study her purple orbs and she gave her a smile as she asked how she did that with her eyes. "You will have to ask my parents that." She said with a smile.

"I was born with them, they run in my family." She explained softly. Every blood born "Snow" had them.. so she did as well! She was still very quiet.. letting the other girl look at her eyes..

He knew he was definitely on the wrong floor. How he managed to get this lost, Lincoln wasn't entirely sure. Eventually, after walking up and down what he finally recognized was the same corridor for half an hour, Lincoln just sat down against the wall.

They should hand out maps to the first years. He sighed to himself. All he wanted was to go to the library after dinner but he'd consider himself lucky to find his way back to the Hufflepuff common room!

Abby was coming out of the common room on her way down to the grounds for a run when she came across a lost looking hufflepuff and said "Hey there you look a little lost"

Lincoln looked up. That would be an understatement. He frowned. Slowly Lincoln rose from the floor. Wait, is that you Angel? Lincoln asked with a smile. It's me, Lincoln Sweet-Perkins! I'm Glenn's little brother. He quickly explained to the girl. Surely she still remembered him, or did Angel have a sister that looked weirdly exactly alike?

Arista realized it might not have been the best idea to just sneak up on someone who was playing, remembering she hated behind disturbed when she was lost at the piano. "Hope I didn't disturb you I was just called over by your music." She looked down at his guitar before saying, "I'm Arista Royal by the way." She gave a smile and a small curtsey.

"I'm doing pretty good. On the search for meeting new people, so I guess it was fate that I ran into your beautiful tunes." She chuckled and said "How long have you been playing?" She motioned to the guitar in his hands.

Abby looked at Lincoln and said "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Lincoln, i am Angel's sister Abby" Abby knew that it was difficult for people to tell her, Angel and AJ apart

Are you sure? You look exactly like the Angel I met at the Leaky! Lincoln even closed one eye and looked at her, just to see if anything looked different. Maybe her hair was a little longer? Or maybe it wasn't. He could have sworn it was Angel.

Well, Abby. My name is Lincoln Sweet-Perkins, but you can call me Linc. He smiled, though he was still unsure about this Abby/Angel girl.

Abby knew that Linc was confused and said "So Linc how come your up on the 7th floor corridor when i am sure that your common room is near the kitchens" Abby knew for a first year like Linc it would be easy to get lost in a big castle like this

Lincoln blushed. Actually, I'm....I'm lost. He told her. I've been looking for the library for forever.Linc added on, it truly had felt like forever. I kept finding myself here in this corridor. He added on more to himself than anything.

Is there a map or something to keep me not lost? He asked, completely serious. A map would be soooooo helpful.

Haddie pulled away, blushing slightly. "Sorry, it's just... I've never seen eyes like that." She leaned against the windows and felt something in the cold stone frame. Her fingers traced it for a moment, until she looked down to see what it was. RIP FW? Who was FW?

But those eyes. "You're eyes are pretty." Haddie's brow furrowed. So why your family? Are you like part fairy or something?" Where there such a thing as fairies? She wasn't exactly sure how she'd feel if there was, especially is Azura was part fairy. It might be the thing that shattered the whole Haddie's living in her childhood fantasy surreal effect all this was giving her. To be living in a castle and not be the one that's a secret fairy princess would shatter the whole illusion, she would think.

Then again, maybe not.

Azura smiled warmly at Haddie as she apologized, "Really it's all right, believe me, I've gotten this reaction a lot! I've even had a boy come super close to my face.. that was.. interesting! Oh Jace! She had enjoyed talking to him.. and him being so close to her had given her heart flutters..

But nothing like how Jazzy did.. So.. that was something..

"Thank you." Azura said with a smile before Haddie asked why her family.. "I don't know! All I know is that every blood related Snow has had some form of purple eyes for generations! I.. don't think we are part fairy!" But that would be super cool!!

She could be a lovely Fairy Princess!!

"My Aunts are even brighter than mine if you can believe that is possible! She said with a smile.

Brady shook his head. "No, it's okay. I have a five year old sister that always bugs me when I'm playing." He didn't mind at all. He was used to it. It felt when his sister would bug him while he was playing would make him a better player. "Nice to meet you. I'm Brady Somerhalder." He nodded and smiled at the older girl.

Brady gave her a confused looked. "Wait...so older students like you still like making new friends here?" Bradson asked her. He didn't know that some of them did that. How long had he been playing? He didn't really know. "Almost all my life." He shrugged.

Abby looked at Linc and said "I think i have a map in my bag i made several during the holidays in case anybody got lost" Abby looked through her bag and found a map and handed it over to Linc "There you go hopefully you will be able to find your way about the castle now"

Arista smirked, little siblings were so annoying. She could agree with that one simple statement they were always bugging people. "Well that's good then. I'd hate to have disturbed you." How awkward would it have been if he had said yes?? She smiled at Brady and said "Nice to meet you as well Brady."

The redhead couldn't help it but she released a couple laughs when Brady threw her a confused look. [b]"Well I can't speak for the others but I quite enjoy it. But most of the older Gryffindors enjoy taking a first year under their wing. As for me I love meeting new people, getting to know them."

"That's really cool!! I love meeting other musicians, its always awesome talking to them about their music. Whats your favorite song to play?"

Haddie stared at Azura like she just grew another head. "You haven't asked why? I would have asked everyday until they told me! You should ask ASAP." She nodded as if it were decided.

"So where are you headed to? Back to the tower?" She glanced back in the direction of the Ravenclaw tower and pointed in the direction of the Owlery. "I'm headed to the Owlery to visit Wimple. He just got back from delivering my first letter home. So we're gonna hang, and I brought him some presents." She held up the jar of beetles and a little plushed shark toy.

Bradson shook his head. "No, I wasn't really playing anything special." He was just strumming alone until he thought of a song to start playing. Brady wasn't as concerned as this girl about being disturbed by anyone really. It didn't bug him, he didn't write any of his own songs yet.

Had Brady just heard her correctly? "You're a Gryffindor?" Now this was where the Scottish boy drew the line for most Gryffindor's. "Did you participate in the food fight?" There was the most important question of all. He didn't want to be friends with someone that threw food around for the heck of it.

"Did you say what you play?" Brady had met a few other people earlier in the day that had mentioned they play music as well but it was always piano. He knew how to play the piano too and there was nothing wrong with that was still, couldn't people just branch out a little?

Azura slowly nodded her head.. "I don't know why I haven't asked.. I guess I always assumed they would tell me if they knew.. But I'm totally going to ask now! She said with a decisive nod of her head! She could be part fairy!! Oh my goodness!! That would be so awesome!! A Fairy Princess!!

Literally!

She made a mental note to write home to her mother as soon as possible.

"Mmm, back to the tower.. I just had to stop and catch my breath before my lungs decided to burn up! She said with a smile and a nod.

"I should visit my owl Snowy sometime.." She said before backing up ever so slightly at the jar of beetles! "I'm sure he will love them! She said with a smile.
