Welcome to your third and final duel!

This is a key stepping stone into determining your placement in the Jinx Tournament so please take this seriously. A list of spells to use can be found HERE while the cost of physical actions can be found below.

Please note that these actions take away from the Fatigue Points section. Also note that these are only taken into account if you're attacking or avoiding a spell. If you're simply moving around the hall, these points don't need to be considered.

Text Cut: Physical Actions
Roll: 5 pts
Sidestep: 5 pts
Duck: 5 pts
Jump: 5 pts
Dive: 5 pts
Climb: 10 pts
Punch/Kick/Physical Attack OR Defense against physical attack: All points remaining are lost

_______________

A referee (either Professor Airey or Professor Hirsch) will be present to oversee the duels and will only interfere if the duel ends or any foul play or unsportsmanship-like behaviour is displayed.

Please remember to adhere to the Dueling Club rules, the DADA rules as well as the SS Site rules.

Good luck!

________________

OOC: This duel must be completed by the 26th of March by 11:59pm GMT. You're required to make a minimum of 3 posts each in that time.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate in contacting me about them or posting them in the Dueling Club Rules thread. If you don't think you can post during that time or you don't think you can start/finish your duel, please let me know as soon as possible and we'll try and work something out.

Remember to keep a track of your points both in the title of your post (before any spells have been cast) and at the end of the post (after your charrie has cast a spell). Please refer to this post if you're confused as to how this works or, simply, come to me. Include as much information as you can about the spell in the spoiler section at the bottom of your post, including the directionality of the spell.

Also remember to be as realistic as possible with your charrie's age and ability.

First person mentioned in the thread title is the first person to start off the duel.

Good luck!

Dmitriy was hoping that the Hufflepuff Prefect he'd be dueling today was a little less cold than his girlfriend, because he didn't really want to deal with attitude again. Win or lose, the tournament was already exhausting enough, wasn't it? He had a feeling Ilia would never be his friend after that.

When it was time, he bowed to Henric and offered him a, "Good luck," and a grin. Then Dima was off, taking the measured paces away from the badger and disappearing after casting a Disillusionment Charm. The sixteen year was finding it to be one of his favorite tricks.

After relocating in the hopes of confusing Henric, he produced another one of his specialties: a Stinging Hex. Coincidentally, these were the same spells Dima had used to start off his duel with Ilia. A fortunate sign, maybe?

.................. Well this wasn't a good sign.

See, the man had been all too excited about seeing how this duel would unfold. These were two great duellists and he knew with certainty that they wouldn't let him down. They'd put up a good fight and show what a good duel was made up of, there was no doubt about that.

That was, if Mr Nicolei had turned up.

The man frowned slightly and glanced over at the door. Nope. No one. He glanced back at Mr Toussaint and then down at his watch and let out a small sigh. No magical shields, no getting rid of any effects of spells and certainly no Hufflepuff Prefect. He came out of the shadows and made his way over towards the Ravenclaw. "Sorry that your partner didn't show up. You may leave, if you want." Smile.

Shame, really.
