| | | Secret Passage Leading to Honeydukes' Cellar The passage that was once cut off by a deliberate blockage now opens up to a long stretch of tunnel heading under the school and across the grounds. Where does it end? Honeydukes of course! It's about an hour's walk if one is willing to make it, but the sweets at the end of the tunnel are reward enough. The passage itself is somewhat narrow and pitch black unless you've got your own source of lighting.
Be careful and watch your steps, as there's the occasional rodent scurrying around and they may not take kindly to the introduction of light after so many years in the dark. |

Noelle was exploring. She had told Rachel that she would save her a secret passage or two but she had to find one first. She scurried around the castle and touched this stone and that. Nothing had happened yet. She came around to the third floor, getting discouraged and bored of trying to find a passage.
Noelle's hand glimpsed the wall. And a hidden door appeared. Her eyes twitched until she saw the passage. A SECRET PASSAGE!
Noelle jumped in delight and started dancing right then and there. "I FOUND A SECRET PASSAGE!" She exclaimed loudly before putting a hand over her mouth. Wait, she probably shouldn't be telling everyone on the third floor she found a passage. this was HER passage. Of course, she didnt know if anyone else had found this passage.. but THIS WAS HERS!
She was ready for the adventure!

She was ready for the adventure! It was early on in the term but Ruby was starting to finally realise that the school wasn't as intimidating as she had preempted it to be. It was growing on her. She liked her Common Room up in the towers of the castle. She liked the grounds and the beautiful views. They weren't quite the ocean views that she had from her bedroom at home but they were certainly quite stunning anyway.
She was walking down the corridors exploring by herself for once. She had wanted Tabitha to join her but that meant walking all the way down to the dungeons to meet her. She decided she would collect her on the way instead. She was minding her own business when a loud voice belonging to a little girl came booming down the corridor. She jumped, alarmed by the sudden outburst. “I don't think it's a secret anymore” she giggled timidly. Now everyone in a few floors radius knew there was a passage here. Ruby wasn't that bothered by finding passages, she wanted to stay where it was safe and people could find her if anything went wrong.

Noelle was inching down the corridor, eager to find out where it lead when she heard a voice behind her. AH! She almost collided with the wall as she turned to see who was talking to her. She clutched her chest. " Mercy!! You scared me!! " She stated and breathed a little faster.
And it was totally still a secret because.... PULL. Noelle pulled the girl into the passage. She put a finger to her lip and looked out to see if anyone else had noticed her yelling. " Do you think anyone else knows?" She asked whispering this time. She looked back at the girl to get her answer.
Wait, she was being rude. This wasnt her little brother who she could bring with to any adventure she wanted to go on. This was a... stranger. But a stranger was just a friend who havent met yet. " Oh! Im Noelle by the way. Noelle Grace Summers. " Noelle said and blushed.
" Do you... do you wanna go down the secret passage with me??" She asked hopefully. She was already peeking down the dark space. She needed a light.... There was probably a lantern around here somewhere.

Oliver had his wand in his hand, hanging loosely at his side. In case he needed it. He didn't know if he would, but he didn't really know what to expect. He had been told there was a secret passageway around here somewhere, but he didn't know exactly where. Or how to get into it. But he would not leave until he had found it.
It was not just any secret passageway. It led to Honeydukes. Which meant that if he found it he could sneak into Honeydukes and get candy whenever he wanted. That was definitely the dream. It was understandable that he was determined to find that passage, and nothing would be able to stop him. He had considered asking an older student exactly how to find it, but what was the fun in that? That was a last resort, only to be used if he absolutely could not find the passageway on his own. But he totally would find it on his own. He would.
Come out come out wherever you are.

Astrid knew she shouldn't let curiosity get to her. She normally didn't. The moment she had heard about a possible secret passage during breakfast she wondered if it was the same one that led to Honeydukes. There were many secret passages in the castle, she was aware, but this one was her favorite simply because of the treats...and maybe a few memories.
She wasn't the only curious one, was she? The brunette almost turned on her heal when she spotted her student. Nothing to seeee. She wasn't here for a secret passage. Nope. Not at all. "Hello, Mister Borzekowski," she greeted pleasantly, without a trace of guilt in her voice or face. Had he found it?

That wasn't a student. No student would refer to him by his last name. But he did not know exactly who it was, not until he managed to slowly turn around. "Hello professor." He smiled angelically. Trying to sneak out of Hogwarts and into Honeydukes? What? Nope, he was not guilty of anything. "Lovely weather we're having, isn't it?" That was a normal line of conversation, right? Definitely not suspicious? Er, maybe it would have been better sometime not in the winter. Ummm.
Nope not suspicious at all.

Did she catch him mid-act? Astrid resisted the urge to laugh.
Look at that angellic little baby-face, though. Astrid smiled softly, lacing her fingers behind her back as she perked her attention towards the windows. The weather? "A lot of snow," she mused. "A secret passage would be great for these circumstances, wouldn't it?"
She had to put it out there. It was amusing when students lost their marbles over possibly being caught doing something sneaky. And she wanted to know if the passage still existed. Double points for her.

Double points for her. She was the one who had mentioned the secret passage, not him. He wanted that fact clear. He kept his face as clear as possible, a mask of innocence. "A secret passage, professor?" He had definitely not heard of anything like that around here, nope. And he was definitely not trying to look for it at that exact moment. "Yes, I suppose something like that would be nice when it is snowing outside." "Why? Have you heard of something like that?" She was old, right? Older than him at least. She would probably know more than he did about any secret passageways. Maybe she could lead him right to it. Heh.
