Homeward bound and the Gryffindor couldn't be happier. Don't get him wrong, he was gonna miss the castle and all the friends he made this past year...but he wasn't gonna miss the work and he wasn't going to miss the disapproving looks every time he left his wand up in his dorm.

You wanna know one of the best things about Summer--outside of ice-cream and friends--no magic. It was a rule, a real one that the Government enforced. He would be safe for the next two and a half months. Absolutely nothing could ruin this for him which put the 12 year old in a ridiculously good mood as he made his way to the food trolley.

The long line didn't even bother him because life was good. Hopefully by the time he got to the top, the woman didn't run out of jelly slugs.

Hot summer, a hot hot summer...

The young lioness hummed cheerfully while she headed to the food trolley. She already had breakfast before getting on board. The last big breakfast on the castle before heading back to home. But since she was on growing process, she required more food... Or snacks, to be exact. She needed some chocolate wands and gums.

Wow, they're just on board for like... an hour or so but the queue line to the food trolley was quite long. Note to herself: She'd better provided the snacks for the train journey or she's gonna face the queue like this. It took a moment to make Ava realized that the boy who was standing in front of her was her fellow Gryffindor firstie. "Hey there, Blaise!" She greeted him. "Are you excited to be back home?"

Blaise got on his tip toes, trying to see above all the other people ahead of him. Merlin he couldn't wait til he hit that growth spurt his aunts always spoke about.

Taller would be amazing.

Just as he fell back on the balls of his feet, he heard his name--right behind him actually. "Hey Ava." He said, spinning sharply to face her with a grin. "I'm super excited. It's gonna be amazing. My family's taking us back to the Caribbean this summer--Bentley will like that. He's not much a fan of the 'cold'." But Blaise was excited for a different reason. They would get to go surfing again!!

"What about you? Any plans?" As he spoke, his quill and notepad floated closer, just as eager for whatever response she had to give.

And then... the quill and the notepad of floated again. "Those things really never left your side, huh?" Ava asked him. It's gonna be cool for taking notes on the class, so she didn't need to waste her energy writing ALL the explanations down.

Back to the Caribbean? "Wow, I didn't know that you're from there." Wait a minute... She needed to remember where the Caribbean exactly is. Oh, it's somewhere around America, right? With the beaches and stuffs? She's not really good with Geographic, especially outside the Europe. "It sounds cool." The young lioness nodded in agreement. Summer and beach? Those both things were INSEPARABLE! And the last time she went to the beach when she was like... nine years old.

And her summer plans? "I don't really have a cool plan like yours. Teddy and I just gonna hang out with our older siblings and celebrate our birthday since all of us are July babies." Which was interesting. "And just... hanging around Diagon Alley or biking around the neighborhood." Yeah, it didn't really sound as cool as his. "So... You're still struggling with the wand?" But he managed to win against Rooney on duel which was, pretty cool.

It was funny how everyone else seemed to pay more attention to his prized possession than even him. Kinda weird but half the time Blaise forgot it was there until he caught it out of the corner of his eyes or suddenly needed it to catch something someone was saying. "That? Yeah, I guess you could say that. It's not always running. I like to think it's gotten better at knowing when I care about something."

Wait...what? She thought he was....Blaise shook his head slowly. "I'm not from there, Bentley sorta is--it's where his mum and grandmother are from so the family takes trips there sometimes." He would admit how cool it was though. "Super cool and everything looks nice. It sometimes gets too hot and mum makes a fuss about sun screen but still amazing." Nodnodnodnod.

The little boy scrunched his nose a bit at her introduction to her summer plans. "I don't know...that all sounds pretty cool to me. I like riding my bike with my dad. Maybe we can go riding sometime over the summer." That'd be cool for when he got back. "Teddy can come too if he wants." His experience only withered at the mention of his wand that was now safely stored at the bottom of his trunk.

"Um...yeah....it's....yeah." He turned to look at the line before him again. Oh look, one less. "My parents seem fine with it though."

The thing about long train rides, was that he got hungry VERY quickly. Breakfast hadn't been enough to tide him over, and so not long into the journey home, Zeke took a wander through the carriages to the food trolley.

He wasn't in any hurry though, and he was still making up his mind on what to buy. With a hand in his pocket jingling his money, Zeke stood back behind the crowd vying for picks at the trolley and waited his turn. There was no doubt he was keen, but he had more self-control now than he did when he was a first year.

Colt decided it was time for a little snack. He did have breakfast but like that was gonna hold him over. He felt his stomach rumble and he wondered what he was in the mood for. He was going more towards a pumpkin pastie or a cauldron cake orrrr did he want gum or fizzing whisbees? Hmmm too many decisions.

He checked his pockets for change and he made sure he had enough. He was pretty good this term and didn't spend as much. Now he had money for the summer. As he made his way towards the line, he saw a dude that was around the same age. He nodded towards him like a typical Slytherin would. "Hey mate." he greeted with him. He did seem familiar. He may have been in some of his classes but he didn't wanna call him out on it and be wrong. That would be awkward...

"Time sure did fly this term huh?" he asked him. He saw him eyeing the candy like he was. "Which you think is better? Pumpkin Pastie or Cauldron Cake?" He wanted an honest opinion.

Angel was really hungry and so she decided that she was going to get a snack from the trolly lady but what was she going to have that was the problem. She had never got anything from the trolley before and now she was finding out why. She looked at all the food and stared at it all.

Angel was still trying to figure out when it was her turn to get served, there was chocolate frogs, pumpkin pasties and a lot of over sweets. Angel after what must have felt like ages to the poor woman decided on what she was getting.

Angel got two pumpkin pasties and a packet of chocolate frogs and paid for it, now though was there anything else, she was still figuring out and hoping she wasn't getting in anyone else's way.

He was still contemplating his choices when another joined the queue. Zeke returned the dude's nod with one of his own. "Hey." It was possible that he'd seen him around, but it wasn't someone he actually knew, so......

What was he getting again?

Zeke looked to the front of the line again, still undecided. One of everything seemed like a legitimate option at the minute, but he didn't fancy carrying them all back to his compartment. Turning slightly so he was half facing the guy he'd just greeted, Zeke considered his question. "I guess?" he shrugged. He really wasn't sure. Parts had dragged while other parts certainly did pass quickly. Overall though... it felt, normal. One thing he could be certain of though, was that time did pass. Fourth year down... three more to go.

But with food on the mind, he was quickly distracted with a second question.

Which was better?

"Cauldron cakes for sure," he replied with a solemn nod. In fact... he could go a cauldron cake or two as well. Choice made.

Ava just nodded when her Gryffindor friend explained about the floating notepad and the quill. Pretty sure Teddy would love to have a quick-quote quill. Speaking of, where's that boy?

Oh, so he's not from Caribbean? "I see... Where are you from, though?" The young lioness asked. Maybe he's from England like most of Hogwarts students or somewhere around this world? Oh, maybe Blaise was secretly an alien who came from another galaxy? Blink blink.... Who knows... Right? Hehehe. "Yeah, sunburn is bad. I once experienced that when I was biking for a long time under the hottest sun." It's just one thing that she didn't like from summer.

Blaise liked biking too! Great! Of course they could ride bicycle together but.... "I live in Cornwall, so dunno if we could bike together... Or can we ride our bikes around Diagon Alley? Or maybe around London. Yes..." It would be fun! Buuuuut, Ava wasn't really sure if her twin brother would love to join them. Sure, Teddy could ride a bicycle but he just didn't really enjoy that which was weird because bikin is FUUUUUUN!!!! "I'll ask him if he wants to join us."

"But you're gonna get a new wand, right?" Because it seemed like his current one wasn't properly working.

It wasn't a question that he got very often, not nearly as often as Bentley so at first he just kinda blinked. Where he was from? Oh, right, right. "England." He finally replied with a firm nod. "We live over in Croydon." Which wasn't always as exciting as it could have been. His eyes widened just a little. "You must have been riding for a really long time to get sunburned like that." But just think how nice of a day it must have been. It wasn't every day this country saw brilliant sunshine. "Bet it was worth it."

Er...how far was Cornwall? Should he have known? Places weren't his thing and neither was distance when his father could just apparate them places or they could floo. He made a face at the idea of biking through Diagon Alley. "There'll be too many people on the streets, we won't be able to ride like we want to. I guess I can ask my Dad to take me to your place--if your parents don't mind."

And Teddy might be coming too! That got him grinning. "We can pull him away from all those books he's always reading." Nothing wrong with reading...'least not until there was more epic fun to be had.

Getting a new wand was something he was a little less sure of. "I asked Mum. She...said we'd figure it out when I got home--so maybe I will get a new one. It's the only way I know we can fix this. I can't afford to keep skipping Charms and Transfiguration, Professor Airey will kill me--if Mum doesn't beat him to it."

"Hey.." he greeted him back once again with the sup nod. He then remembered why he looked so familiar. "Were you in the dueling club this term...?" I mean he could be wrong but why not ask. The dude didn't seem to wanna talk much. He respected that. I mean heck he didn't like talking that much either. Now his choice was made. He ordered one cauldron cake and got some others like the gum, bertie botts beans and fizzing whizbees. He needed to stock up before he went home. Once he took a bite into his cauldron cake, he chewed and swallowed and asked, "Anything cool you doing for the summer?"
