He hadn't been in here in ages, but why was that? Bart looked around the shop. Today he was looking for some fun things for his sisters. He wouldn't even mind that they were probably too young for anything in here, Alana had the potential to enjoy the jokes and things he use to and he had to jump on that chance. He could just see his mother's face as she pulled some jokes like he use to. Laughing to himself he moved to another aisle.

His eyes scanned the shelves and then to the door. Brynny was going to meet him here so he wanted to make sure she knew where he was. His best friend might know better gifts to get for the girls, but for now he was looking for this stuff.

Seeing something shiny he went over to the shelf distracted with the items. Maybe he'd buy some things for himself, it had been awhile since he used someone else's made joke items. The best part of being good with potions he could make most of his own things.

Jokes! Chance was low on jokes. So he was glad that Hogsmeade was open. Chance braved the snow to head out there. He was bundled up tight. Gryffindor scarf wrapped up and sticking out from his cloak. The cold wind whipped at his face as he headed down the crowded street to Zonkos.

The moment that door opened and the bell rang, Chances face broke into a big grin. He looked around the shop and hurriedly shut the door behind him to keep the cold out.

Looking around the shop, Chance headed to his favorite corner. He grabbed a few extendable ears and some dung bombs. He looked around the shelves to see what new and exciting things were out and about at the shop. He needed some new things but seriously, the classics were where it was at.

Brynn wasn't sure why Bart had suggested meeting at Zonko's. Well, she knew why he might want to go, though honestly she thought maybe he was outgrowing some of the prank things anyway, but it was never really her kind of thing. Though maybe she did need to try to interject a little more fun n her life as long as it wasn't anything that would get her into trouble. She did bring some money with her just in case.

The 5th year loosened her Ravenclaw scarf a little from around her neck as she walked in, having had it pulled tighter around her bare neck with her long red hair pulled up into a ponytail. Glancing around, her brown eyes quickly caught sight of Bart not far from the door. "Hey," she grinned as she walked closer to him. "What are you looking at?" If nothing else, she could at least say that the merchandise at Zonko's was interesting.

Little big hair, Silver needed a day all to herself. Less focus on classes (which wasn't something she was excelling in, to begin with) and more on relaxing or doing whatever it is a wild Silver Barry does. Securing her red and gold beanie to tame down those wild curls, she headed down to the joke shop.

Her cheeks had turned a light shade of pink due to the cold wind blowing her on her face, though she was used to the New York winters this was something else. As she walked down the streets she noticed another student, who apparently seemed to be in Gryffindor too! The scarf was a total give-away. Hehe.

Distracted in her mind, she didn't notice the door open as soon as the young man enetered. BAM! Door came in direct contact with the lioness's face. Nose to be percise. "Mother-father!" Silver squealed and rubbed her throbbing nose. There might be tears. Everyone knows that your eyes automatically water when you get hit in the nose. Hahaha.

Entering the shop she put on a brave face and began looking around. Glad her nose wasn't broken, that wouldn't be a pretty picture. Or face.

"I'm gonna sound so nasally now!" She was talking to herself. She wasn't wrong. But anyways, now on to look for something to bring a laugh into her best friend's life. Playing with her curls she glanced around the shelves, with no actual clue of where to start or what to get. There was just some much cool stuff here!

An invisible magnet. What was the point of that? Chance couldn't pictured a thing he would use that for. They even had some of the smuggle pranks he had seen before. Like the fake poop. Although this one actually started smelling and looked more realistic when taken out of the container, but returned plastic when it was returned to the container.

Hearing a voice, not too far from him, Chance lifted his head in curiosity. Seeing a girl holding her nose he lifted his brows. "Oi, are you alright then?" He asked as he put the fake poop down and walked over to her. Her eyes were watering. Yahoo. Chance couldn't deal with girls crying. Awkward.

She didn't look to be like she was for real crying though. Just... in pain almost. And she was already looking at what the shop had to offer. "Oh, sorry for the bother. I thought something was wrong." Maybe he had been locked up too long in the castle and had misread that whole situation. Or maybe he was missing something.

The doorbell's ringing sound alerted Emerald to the arrival of customers, Hogwarts students to be exact, since it was their first weekend in the village this school year. Pulling her brown curls back from her face into a messy bun, she adjusted her apron and lifted up a box of merchandise and head out between the shelves.

Spotting a girl with a red nose together with another boy, she called over curiously. "Hello there, did you by any chance injure your nose from drinking tea from a nose-biting teacup?" Emerald personally loved using them on people especially if they were being arrogant or just not listening.

In an adjacent aisle she heard the quiet murmur coming from two other students, checking out the wares in another section. Emerald had a feeling that this would be a good day for pranks.

He had picked up a shiny tin can, what did it do? There had to be something epic with it he just couldn't figure out what. That's when he heard her voice and looked up, "Sup" His best friend was right on time as always, "You don't have anyone else to see today during our time off?" He jokingly grinned, he had always enjoyed annoying her with the dating thing. Though he had always known when she did start actually dating he'd go all big brother and probably threaten them and stuff. Secretly he was glad she hadn't yet.

"Just looking really, was thinking about getting Alana something in here. She seems to have my sense of humor." He grinned and chuckled while thinking about his sisters. "I think if I act now I could really train her to do some good things when she gets to Hogwarts." He had plenty of time to get her trained to be his little minion. Make sure no one forgot him even when he was long graduated. "What do you think I should get her?" He knew Brynny wouldn't say anything in the shop, but if she had any other ideas even for Elisa he'd go with them.

"Hey.." Brynn's eyes traveled to the shiny tin can in Bart's hands as she wondered exactly what that was, then back up to his face when he questioned her. "No, not really," she shrugged though she figured what he meant even if she didn't exactly address that comment specifically. "Just whoever's around." People always seemed to pair up anymore, so she often had a tough time hanging out with any one specific person. Or at least that was her perception.

"Really?" Brynn picked up a rubber snake that squirmed in her hand and she almost immediately dropped it at the surprise of the sudden movement. But she was equally surprised that he'd think of getting his little sister something from her being that she was kind of young. She gave him a funny kind of look at his words, then laughed a little. "Okay, um.." Brynn looked around a little. "You really want to get her something in here?" She'd think something more little kid toy than big kid toy, like a stuffed animal or something. "Nothing dangerous or pointy.. maybe one of these realistic looking toy animals." Like that snake, but not the snake.

Melek wandered around the joke shop. She was sick and tired of being around studious Ravenclaws and wanted some fun. She glanced here and there along the shelves, trying to find a good prank or a gag or something. Mel frowned, trying to think what to do. She sighed and leaned against one of the shelves, closing her eyes and letting her mind wander.

He for once felt like maybe he asked the wrong thing by here answer. "Plenty of people around, you know the school is pretty big." He nudged her in the shoulder with a slight grin trying to joke a bit. Though he was glad she did come to hang out with him, he did enjoy hanging out with his best friend. "Start some Christmas shopping while you are here?" That was what many seemed to be doing at least.

"Yeah I do, I think it will be funny when she is doing something to mom that I use to." He laughed at the thoughts, "Doesn't have to be something big. There are little kid joke things here. Like that snake that just scared you." He was joking again, it didn't seem to scare her, but still it would freak his mother out, which would be fun. He set down the shiny box and went walking some more. There had to be something in here.

"So anywhere you want to go after this? We could go to the candy store or something. I'm meeting Cinna at the Broomsticks if you want to come eat with us."

Brynn glanced up at Bart as he nudged her and she gave him a small smile. "Yeah, I know.. I'm sure I'll run into someone else I know too." But for now, she was fine here. She wasn't worried about who else she might see, she liked hanging out with Bart. "Oh, maybe.. that's a good idea.." The 15 year old hadn't really thought about it before but maybe she should have. Christmas was just over a month away. She began mentally making a list of people she needed to buy for and what she could possibly get.

Brynn couldn't help but to laugh a little at the thought of Bart's sister playing pranks. She probably shouldn't, but it was kind of funny. She looked around a bit, her eyes snapping back to that snake when Bart mentioned it. "Noo, I don't think that snake is a good idea," she said, shaking her head and laughing a bit. "There's gotta be something better around here." She started to follow him in the direction he was walking, keeping a look out for something that might catch her eye as she passed by some merchandise. Hmm, what were these brightly colored balls meant to do?

"Oh, sure, wherever," she shrugged, her attention somewhat diverted to the orange ball now in her hands. She didn't really have plans for Hogsmeade, was just going with the flow. "I don't want to crowd you though.." She lightly tossed the ball back and forth in her hands, trying to figure out what it did when it suddenly exploded into a cloud of confetti showering over her. Ooops, did she have to pay for that now?

There was nothing like a trip to Hogwarts with the first bestie to help fix their issue. Well, Glendower had worked on most of it and Adi was grateful but he was still mindful that Benny had not believed him fully... though he knew his friend had been insecure about him being taken away. And Adi did have enough experience with THAT emotion to know how it worked, so he wasn't mad at Benny anymore.

The Hufflepuff pushed the door to the joke shop open. "I wonder if they have new products,'' he said, waiting until Benny has followed him in before letting the door shut behind them. New products meant new fun pranks to play on persons. Hehe. James and Torie came to mind when he thought of those. Maybe he should get some items from the shop for the firsties.

Truth be told, jokes and pranks were more her brothers territory, but there was still something alluring about Zonkos. Even if it mostly meant just walking around the shop and investigating the new jokes so she would know what to expect.

But actually, what Chloe really was in need of more than anything was some best friend time. She almost felt bad on introducing Hayls to her housemate because even though it took them AGES to get together, now it seemed like they were ALWAYS together. And she wasn't one to tag along as the third wheel, even if pranking them on occasion sounded pretty spectacular.

He had been told he couldn't go down to Hogsmeade but...when there's a will there's a way!! Chris snuck out of one of the alleys and looked around before slipping into Zonkos juuuuust in case his mum and dad were wandering around. Didn't particularly fancy getting grounded all summer.

Having made it safely in the shop he looked around with a grin bouncing a bit and his galleons jingling in his pocket. He couldn't wait. This was going to be awesome!!!

Benny was quiet as they made their way to Hogsmeade to spend the day together. Quiet...but not scary, wanting to hide in a cave away from everyone else quiet. He was simply following alongside Adi as they meadered through the growing crowds in the village, the boy taking in the return of them spending time side by side. There was a big part of him that just wanted to enjoy it, while the other part reminded himself that he had been the one insecure in the friendship and the cause of the fight.

"Maybe..." he said as Adi broke the silence as he opened the door. The Gryffindor followed his friend inside the joke shop, allowing the door close behind him. His eyes wandering around the store as the boy tried to remember the last time he was inside.

Emerald felt like she had just managed to dust off and clean her shop into perfection after the last Hogwarts rush and now they were back. She saw two boys from her window as they neared her shop. Re-fastening her apron and pulling her hair back she made her way out to greet them. Emerald had some nice valentines day products that might be of interest.

Waving to get the boys attention she called out as she gestured to the front. "Welcome to Zonkos, don't forget to check out the new Valentines Day products! We have some new cute stuffed bears that could be nice girlfriend gifts." Emerald didn't add that said bears had some talents.



On the senior boys heels came a younger boy which Emerald judged as about a first or second year in age. Putting on a smile she made her way towards the boy adjusting shelves and products displays as she went. "Hello, welcome to Zonkos! Can I be of any assistance? We've got lots of products on sale."



It didn't take long before the three boys were followed by a teenaged girl. With Valentines day around the corner it seemed like Emerald would be getting lots of buisness and money. Beaming she waved to the girl from her position near one of the shelves. "Welcome to Zonkos. You should check out the new beauty section to the right. We've got some beautiful but fake nail polishes and eye-shadows."

Adi wondered vaguely if he if was too early to start pulling pranks on Benny again. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. His bestie did say he wanted everything to be back to normal and the older of the two boys couldn't agree more. So it seemed wise after all to go back to troubling the bestie "You had better hope not, Dragon,'' he said happily, looking around. Hey, the shop might not be Honeydukes but it was one of the best here. "You do realise that you'll be the subject of these pranks?" Hehe. Just a warning to you, Benny.

Was that the shopkeeper. Yes, it was! The Hufflepuff waved back, all set to inquire about new products but the woman beat him to the topic. Valentine's Day! Dear Hippogriffs! He had forgotten! Not that AJ cared about such days, anyway, but still. He treated her like a lady. His tomboy lady <3 But these bears... "Do they have any pranks up their stuffed arms?" Adi was interested. Verrrrrry interested.

Benny raised an eyebrow at Adi's first remark before realizing the meaning behind it that was confirmed by the second. Yep....back to their normal relationship. "If you say so..." he mused before they were waved at by the shopkeeper. The Gryffindor was prepared for his friend's antics, even considered being more open to one to two to make up for not trusting Adi in the first place.

As for the shopkeeper...she was trying to get their attention about the upcoming holiday. Oh...that day. The one that was made awkward in the last few years by actually having a girlfriend. Benny remained quiet as Adi questioned the woman on the bears she mentioned, the Gryffindor not sure they were anything like would be interested in getting Angel. Not that he wouldn't get her anything.

Adi sneaked a look at his bestie and was able to make out that familiar look. He knew it meant confusion. Yep, the Puff knew the Gryff as much as he knew AJ. "I do say so, I do say so,'' he sing songed, pausing to look at some Hiccough Sweets. "Hey, Benny.'' He laughed and snagged a few of the sweets. "Hiccough Sweets for Hiccup.'' Hehe. The other guy would get it. Hiccup and Toothless aka Adi and Benny. Anywayyy, Adi was DEFINITELY getting some of these.

"Aren't you getting anything?'' Ohhh! Look! SUGAR QUILLS! Well, in classes he was sure he never looked like he was thinking so his Professors would find it weird should the expression suddenly started turning up on his face. Hehe. But still... it would be nice to have something sweet in class without the adults realising it.

Benny simply shook his head at his friend's melodic assurances. They shall see what happened. Letting himself look around the shelves a little, he looked back at Adi at the sound of his name. The right name. "Cool..." he remarked definitely catching the connection. One Dragon to his Viking.

Ah...the age old question seeing Adi was the prankster of the duo. Another glance around and he wound up shaking his head. "Nah...I don't think so." He'd opt out of the bear in favor of something else for Angel. He had already gotten her a stuffed dragon for the holiday a year or two before.

Yesh, cool indeed. VERY cool. These were a MUST for the Hufflepuff. He snagged a few and dropped them on the counter for the shopkeeper lady to cash for him. In the meanwhile, he shot a sly look at his bestie. "Not even some Dungbombs to toss at Henric?'' he teased. If there was anyone Benny wanted to prank surely it would be the younger Hufflepuff.

Speaking of those things... where were they? Surely he could find a few. Adi imagined they would be nice to play a joke on Cutty or James. Maybe even on a Professor like Culloden or Flamsteed. Hehe.
