We hope you're ready to dive into a fun Caribbean adventure!
The entry way to this event will lead you through a wide pathway with lockers along both sides of the walls. You can use these to store any/all of your belongings while you're out and splashing around! No worries, they'll be kept safe, dry, and waiting for you upon your return! And while everyone is strongly encouraged to wear bathing suits already under their clothes prior to showing up, there are some portable changing rooms and restrooms that can be found just on the other side of the locker area.
Just realized you've forgotten something? Don't sweat it because your student leaders have thought of it all! If you go a littler further beyond the benches, there's a large table full of "extras" sitting out for you. The Prefects have left you with goodies such as extra sunscreen, water goggles, nose/ear plugs, towels, water bottles, and floaties! Though the benches look inviting, try not to spend all of your time here 'cause there's plenty more to do out there!
Seventh years entering the event: Don't forget to sign the Memory Book before you leave! It is sitting on its own stand as soon as you come in. You can't miss it!

Marsha had had it with spiders. She didn’t like them, not one bit… however she realised that out of awful situations, came HUGS. Hehe. Having run around the new area a little, she moved to the locker room so that she could take off her shoes, leave her bag and after very little hesitation, her wand as well.
With that done, and the warm sand beneath her feet, she grinned as she stood still for a minute wondering where to go first. As she swayed from side to side softly, her dress swayed with her. She looked around and grinned as she saw Kate making her way to the lockers. She skipped in her direction, waving as she went.
”Hi Kate.” GRIN. ”Did you’re mum get away safely? Are you okay? I keep having nightmares about spiders.” She shuddered a little, once again hating the fact that she couldn’t say she loved “every” animal… because thanks to THOSE acromantula’s… well, she didn’t. She really didn’t like spiders anymore so nope. All creatures and animals apart from spiders and acromantulas… Thank you very much.

Zhenya gloomily headed up to the grounds from the Slytherin common room. The End was near. She would soon have to say goodbye forever. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she sniffed and willed them away. She really didn't want to cry today. She was saving that for when she got home. Today was fun, the prefects had organised the grounds into the caribbean! This was fun! And crying would only depress people, and that was not what today was about.
Zhenya chose a locker and removed her beach dress. Underneath she wore a simple black bikini, and thongs on her feet. She had her green and white striped beach towel with her, which she decided to leave in the locker room, and a pair of goggles were around her head. Her hair was swept into a long ponytail, to keep out of her eyes. She had a look at the table of supplies and decided to rub some sunscreen on her pale Russian skin, just in case. She didn't want to be red.

Honestly she just wanted to go home. She missed her family and this term was horrible. Her best friend/sister/cousin got kid knapped and Hogwarts was just not safe these days. Emmylou developed a sudden fear of spiders thanks to this dang school. She wanted nothing to do with this even but Kace wanted her here so here she was. The blonde wore a bright aqua blue polka dot bikini with white cover up on. She had aqua blue flip flops on to match her bikini. Emmylou looked around to see if Kace was here or if he was already waiting for her some place else.

Janelle was late for the Prefect event/End of term feast substitution/Carribean party event thing. There was plenty of time left though, so she was good. With her bathing suit under her sundress, she headed for the lockers and put all of her extra gear inside of one. It was time to say goodbye to her second year at Hogwarts and truthfully, she wasn't terribly sad to see it go. The spiders. Janelle would never be able to look at a spider without flashing back to this term.
Janelle was sad for one thing though and that was for the seventh years who would soon be leaving Hogwarts. She didn't know many of them really well, but the ones she did know, she would miss. Putting those thoughts out of her head, Janelle surveyed the area. She had to decide where to start. So much to do, so little time.

Kate made her way into the locker room with a bounce in her step. There was a water slide here! This was so exciting! After the term she'd had...after the term everybody had had--they'd all earned an event like this. Kate made a mental note to give a thank you to the prefects when she passed by them. In the meantime, she needed to store all her stuff somewhere, so they wouldn't get destroyed.
Walking further into the locker rooms, Kate suddenly heard her name and paused mid-step. Ohh, it was Marsha! "Hey, Marsha," she said, greeting her friend. Kate smiled widely. "Yeah, she did! I didn't tell her, but I was terrified that she was out there fighting those spiders." Well, everybody was terrified, but Kate just didn't want to lose her mom. Especially not when Kate had been right there with her the whole time. Close-by, at least.
"Wasn't that terrible? The whole spider thing?" she asked, putting her things into a nearby locker. "We deserve this event after the term we've all had." She looked around. "Isn't this cool? There's a water slide, too!"

Marsha grinned at the girl as she looked towards her. Listening, she nodded her head more than happy to hear that she had made it home safely. Really, it had been great to have the extra help and adult-power from the Adults, but Sha hadn’t liked that they had put more and more people in trouble at the same time. Whoops - though, without those adults, would they be in such good shape now? Hmm, Sha wasn’t sure either way… but what she did know was that she was ready for Summer.
”Ridiculously awful.” she said, agreeing with her full-heartedly. She loved animals and creatures and 99.9% of everything… but spiders were no longer allowed anywhere on that list. Nope. Not little ones or bit ones or friendly ones. She was being bad and tarring them allll with the same brush. She didn’t care of Grantad said it was bad… if she didn’t see another spider, ever(!!!!) that would be okay with her. Yupyup.
”Really? Awesome. I love swimming. Do you know where the slide is? I haven’t walked around yet to see it…” Marsha’s eyes glanced over the grounds again, this whole thing was awesome.
