Wash. Wash the hands. With the soap. Making the bubbles.

Mitchell felt sleep deprived. He'd been staring at his hands for several minutes now. At least they were clean. He'd made it over the thirty second mark.

He glanced in the mirror above the sink. At least his hair still looked good.

Kace was busy exploring the sixth floor corridor because he never really explored this floor before. He realized he needed to go to the bathroom and he opened the door and noticed a gryffindor was in here. Oh wait it was Mitch. He nodded and he went to the bathroom first and then once he was done doing his business, he went over to the sink and washed his hands. "Hey mate.." he greeted him with a sup nod. "You feeling okay?" he asked since he was staring at his hands.

It seemed he was either in deep thought or sleep deprived. Either one he wondered what was up with his friend. He continued to put soap on his hands and wash them giving them a thorough clean.

Huh? What?" Mitchell said looking up. "Oh. Yeah. Thanks. I'm pretty good." he said with a nod. "Just thinking about life next year." he said vaguely.

It wasn't really a bathroom type conversation. Or maybe it was? Some people did their best thinking in bathrooms.

"What about you?"

Kace nodded and understood what Mitch was going through completely. "You thinking about in general or how the relationship between you and Marigold and how you guys will work it out?" All excellent questions right there. Now onto him, I mean he didn't expect to talk in a bathroom but seeing as no one was here why not? "Well I am just like you. I have been thinking about career choices and trying to figure out my life.." he shrugged. There that was the truth. "I am also just trying to spend much time with Emmy as I can too.." he added in as an after thought.

Mitchell laughed lightly. That was a loaded question, Kace. "In general mostly. I applied to Edinburgh. I should hear back soon." That was a pretty good place to start.

As for the Marigold part. "We've talked." he said with a nod. "We want to stay together after graduation." Which was a slight understatement.

"Want to go into detail about that? I might be able to help." They could talk about the different options.

Kace nodded and was impressed he applied to Edinburgh. I mean that was a good school to apply to. "Well I hope you hear back soon mate. I am rooting for ya." he smiled and patted him on the back like a brother would do. He was glad him and Marigold were talking and figured out what they wanted to do. "Well that is good you guys want to stay together. I mean Emmy and I want to stay together too. She is fearing when I leave her in June." he shrugged. "Which I expected, I mean that is typical." Then he heard his question and he tilted his head. "What details about my career options or my plans for Emmy?" he just wanted to clarify is all.

Mitchell nodded. "Yeah. Me too." Although, the fact that his older brother worked there probably would help. Right? Probably. And if not, there were backup schools.

He nodded again. Yeah. That was kind of sucky. He was glad that Marigold was the same age. It made things easier.

"Both." As long as they were having deep conversations about life in the boys' bathroom, they might as well go all in.

Ah so Mitchell wanted him to spill the beans and vent out his feelings. He sighed and began to explain, "Well right now the plans for Emmy is to spend as much time with her as possible. She has been clingy a lot more lately but I understand it. I mean she is just scared of me leaving and all. Also mate did you hear that apparecium rumor that went around involving Marigold a little bit and Emmy and I?" he asked. He was just curious is all. "She was upset about that and then made her realize she needed to show me more attention and vice versa for me..." he said and began to turn the faucet on and began to style his hair with the water. He needed to get a haircut soon.

"As for my career options. I want to work with Dragons and just travel. I don't wanna sit in a cubicle all day. That is not for me. How about you mate. Do you have any career plans yet? Do you know what Marigold wants to do?" I mean he just wanted the intel is all.

Mitchell nodded. "Yeah. It's kind of funny that stuff like that comes up years later." He wasn't worried about it. He knew where he stood with her. In fact, Kace and him talked about it before they even started dating.

"Really? That sucks. I'm glad you two worked it out."

Anyway...

"Yeah. I can understand that." he said with a nod. "My brother saw the dragons at Gringotts a few years ago." That must have been pretty cool. "I'm thinking Magizoology. But, we'll see if that changes." That's what continuing to go to school was for, right?

He nodded when asked about Marigold. "She sent in an application to an animal shelter."

"I know right? It is like they have nothing better to do?" he sighed and laughed at the stupidity of others. Why would they try and meddle into people's lives. "Yeahh it did suck. I mean I didn't care but Emmy can be a little sensitive so she was freaking out a little bit." he shrugged. She was better now of course. After he asked Mitch what he wanted to do, he nodded and that is what Kace was thinking of pursuing. "Yeah I wanna do that too. I talked to Thompson and he is putting me in the major." It was the best fit for him.

When he heard about Gringotts, Kace forgot the idea of dragons living there. "Oh yeah mate I forgot Dragons live there. I mean you know of them but I wish you can see them ya know?" A boy can dream can't he? When he heard the info about Marigold, he grinned. Typical Marigold to help the animals. "Well hopefully she gets it is all I am saying."

"Did you start studying for your NEWTS yet mate?" Curious puff was curious.

Mitchell laughed lightly. Yeah. People were weird. It was a good thing he wasn't the type to worry though. He knew Marigold. And really, all those rumors bringing up the past did was remind him how far they'd all come.

"Yeah. Maybe they'll do another trip there with students again. That would be cool." Maybe he could ask Chris about it. He wanted to go see it too. But at the same time it made him wonder if that was even something he was interested in long term.

Growing up was difficult.

"I haven't yet, no. I should." Why did he have to be reminded that final exams were so close?

Kace nodded and like the aspect of Mitch being the man of few words. He hoped there was another trip soon too. That would be awesome. He laughed and expected that. Some students probably don't want to think of their exams yet. I mean Kace was being prepared early and some people do better under cramming all the information in a short amount of time. "Yeah I mean you can join me if ya want." he offered. But if Mitch didn't, I mean that was cool.

"So tell me what are your summer plans when you are finished here?" He was curious what other people were doing.

"I'd like that." Mitchell said with a nod. He needed some inspiration. And a reason to study. You know, outside the obvious. More like... he needed motivation. A study partner would be welcome.

He shrugged when summer plans were mentioned. "My sister likes going on a family vacation. So that'll probably happen. Other than that... probably just prepping for school." Which made him sound boring. But hey, boring wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

"What about you?"

Toby poked his head in through the bathroom door and took a quick look around. Mainly, he was looking for any walls or basins or stall doors or actual toilets that had been charmed red, yellow, blue, or green, but it seemed as though he was the first boy to think to charm this room in particular.

There were a lot of options, too, so that was good. Toby went from sticking his head into the room to actually bringing the rest of his body in as well, and deliberated for a moment on just what to charm. In the end he stepped up to the row of sinks, automatically glancing at his reflection in the cracked mirror as he did so, and pointed his wand at the sink.

"Colovaria."

He had no reason to believe that the spell wouldn't work, as it had been working just fine up 'til now, but Toby never really got complacent with his magic. He focused just as hard as the first times he attempted the spell and, moments later, the sink had turned bright yellow.

That was three down then, he noted to himself as he leaned his parchment up against the wall to add his latest 'capture' to the list. When the parchment and quill were safely tucked away again, Toby left the bathroom again, back on the prowl for more things to cha\nge colour.

Caleb found it VERY amusing that there were random objects around the castle that had been changed by his classmates - it was funny to randomly come upon a suit of armour that was red, a tapestry that was yellow, or a random book in the library that was all blue. And now it was time for Caleb to put his own mark on the castle. Or, more accurately, the Slytherin mark.

Wandering over to the sinks, he picked a random one, cleared his throat, and pointed his wand at it. Picturing in his mind a very dark green sink, he muttered "Colovaria!" and watched as the white sink turned Slytherin grin, with the faucet and knobs remaining silver. So it was all Slytherin colored now - both green AND silver/grayish.

Alright, one down...four more objects to go! He wrote a quick note to himself on his parchment to make sure he wouldn't forget when he was writing out his homework later to include the bathroom, and then headed out.

Kace nodded and said, "Well let's make a place to study every night once a week. I don't think I could do like twice a week. Well maybe we will with all the material we will be covering." He just needed to tell the truth right there. He understood not a lot of people will have summer plans in Kace's year because they are going to school shortly after. "Yeah I know what you mean. I am going on a family vacation to Australia as usual and then I am gonna go to college soon enough." he shrugged. "Are you going to go to University?" he asked. "You going to dorm there?"
"I am thinking of going to Wizarding University in Scotland around here. I mean I know the area and I will be closer to Emmy too." There was a plus the downside is he is gonna miss his family.

Y'know, you've gotta go when you've gotta go. It's like a universal rule and unfortunately there's not so much you can do about it. Which is exactly why Zander Adair ended up in the bathroom after working tirelessly on his homework assignment. Even a boy who has got work to do has to go when he's got to go. Again, a universal thing.

After walking out of the farthest stall, he walked up to the sink to wash his hands before noticing... IT WAS GREEN? And the other one was yellow!? Wait. Merlin. They were here. Other's had been here. Yet, there were no red sinks?? This bothered Zander juuuust a bit. OR more than a bit. Actually okay, he was a very competitive person.

So it bothered him a lot. Maybe. But ahem. Whatever.

The Sixth Year just began scrubbing away at his hands as he let the soapy water drain down the green sink and NO okay he had to make this fair. Plus, he was still supposed to be working on his assignment anyways. So ahem. He dried his hands before pulling out his wand and holding it to a third sink that for the moment being was a plain white color. "Colovaria," he said pointing his wand at the sink and watching the color change to a deep red.

Bingo. And now they were even. Except for Ravenclaw. But what mattered was that Gryffindor was on the table again. HA.

Mitchell nodded. "Anywhere but the library." He wasn't a fan of such a stiff study location. "Maybe outside?" Under a tree? Where he could play with a baseball while he read. Yes. That sounded good.

He nodded. Australia. That sounded fun. Except, wasn't it winter there in the summer? Or something like that. That'd be weird.

He nodded. "Yeah. Probably in Edinburgh." Scotland seemed to be a popular place. "I'll probably be in a dorm. It makes sense to be." He did have family there though. So that might be an option?
