Here was hereeee!

So what if it so soon? There was Felix Felicis to be brewed! Culloden himself had told him to stop by at the office this term... right? Or had Adi imagined that? Heh. Anyway, a date and time would needed to be set for starting the brewing so, yeah. It was a pretty good time to bother the man.

Adi raised his left hand to the Potion's Professor door.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

He remained standing in front of the door, too excited to have a seat.

Since it was the start of term, Lux felt the need to stop by and visit her favourite Professor. She had Chocolate Frogs in her bag and pocket - like always - and was excited to catch up with Culloden and ask him for Potions advice.

Reaching the waiting area, she was pleasantly surprised to see Adi already there. "Hey, Puff buddy!" she said with a smile as she joined him. Things were great already, and she was still so happy that she saw Bay the other night. He made her so happy.

Zeke had a VERY important question for the Professor, SUPER important in fact. It was something that had been eating away at him for the past week, since he'd stuffed up his summer holidays and well.. yeah. HE NEEDED TO FIX IT!!!! He needed advice.

Trailing a hand along the dungeon walls as he walked, Zeke arrived at the waiting area in front of Professor Culloden's office, surprised to find he wasn't alone. "Hey guys," he greeted Adi and Lux. Fancy seeing them here. Figuring they knocked already, he claimed a black armchair and waited with them for the Professor to show.

It seemed that Proffy Culloden was super popular this term. Not that Silas would have ever doubted that. Culloden was AMAZEBALLS. INDEED HE WAS!

As Silas approached and claimed one of the armchairs he gave a nod at the other people there and clutched his parcel closer to his chest.

Cosgrach rose early that day, because he KNEW students wanted to visit him. Adi made it clear last year, and he bet there would be a few who wanted to discuss OWL/NEWTs, so when someone knocked on his door, he was readily sitting at his desk, reading the Prophet.

He closed the newspaper, hid his reading glasses and got up. He opened the door with a smile, that turned into an 'O' of surprise. There were not one, but FOUR students waiting for him! He was popular, wasn't he? He grinned at all of them.

"Hello there," he greeted them, then thought of asking who got there first, but Lux was the only lady there, so he would talk to her first. Codes of gentlemen and all, he hoped Zeke and Silas would understand.

"Adi, if it's the Felix Felicis, you can wait for me in the laboratory*, but I'll attend to your peers here first," he said to the boy, but he knew he would wait there no matter how long, and turned to Lux. "Young lady, please come in."

He stepped aside to let her in. "Ladies first, guys, y'know." He smiled at them.

While Adi paced excitedly waited for the awesome Potions Professor, he wasn't surprised to find Lux joining him. He knew of her ambitions relating to Potions. "Hey, Lady Lux.'' She got a smile but then someone else arrived. Gosh, Culldoen was a popular man. Then again, that was to be expected, right? The old fella was just so cool. Hehe.

"Hiya, Zeke!'' Those words had hardly left his mouth when someone else showed up. O_O Culloden would be tired of his students in no time. LOL. The newcomer got a friendly 'hey' from Adi.

Thankfully they didn't have to wait long and the Potions man seemed to be in good spirits. See how he sent Adi off to the Potions Lab already? "Hi, Professor. Yes, it's about that. I'll go now.'' With a grin and a 'see you guys later' to the others, the Puffer shot off towards his common room. Needed to grab books, quills and what not before he headed for the lab.

Ooh! More people were arriving. Lux barely had time to talk to Adi when there was the sudden arrival of Zeke and a boy (Silas) she wasn't familiar with who was carrying a parcel. "Hey, guys!" she said while offering a smile to them both.

Awww, Professor Culloden was such a gentleman letting her go first because she was a lady. Waving goodbye to her friends, she stepped inside his office.

He was smiling now, despite his concerns, and it was hard not to when you were surrounded by friends and a housemate. Yeah, HI OLDER DUDE SITTING THERE THAT HE DIDN'T REALLY KNOW.

When Professor Culloden came out, and things started happening, he just waited to be addressed, he had figured he would have to wait to get in anyway, so no big deal. "No worries Professor, they were here first anyway." Yep. Yep. He could wait, all the time in the world to think about his actions. Lalalala.

There was an urgent matter Gabriel needed to speak with Professor Culloden about...but upon arriving to his office, the Ravenclaw noted the line....

Eeeeeeh?

Flushing a bright shade of pink, he took a seat to wait it out; potions journal clutched tightly in his hands. Too bad he hadn't thought to bring a quill...

It was the very start of term things and Zander Adair wanted to see his Potion's Professor. Wait no, that wasn't right. He didn't really want to see the Professor, per-say. Who in their right mind wanted to go see a Professor?! Unless they were beautiful and also your soulmate. But no, no one should want to go see a Professor at the beginning of term, especially not if it was about school things. Especially not then. Though, Sophie Brown was probably the one sane exception to this rule.

Honestly, what did she even see in the guy?!

But right. Anyways. He was here to see Professor Culloden. Not because he wanted to. Not because he had to. But because he was trying to actually get his life together this year-- a plan which, by the way, was completely failing ALREADY. But Culloden didn't need to know that. In fact, Zander was trying to look as particularly well-put-together as possible.

... A LINE?!??? Welp. There goes the hopes of getting in and out in under 15 minutes.

He appeared at the door after Lux, and gaped at two new faces there: Gabriel and Zander. Well... Adi had to wait a bit longer than he'd first hoped... it didn't matter for him, though - the more people, the merrier!


"So, uh..." It was deciding who to call for first, but he decided on Zeke: he was younger than Silas.

"And younger people first now, yeah?" He smiled at the rest of them, but didn't really wait for an answer from the other boys and merely nodded at Zeke to come in.


...and after Zeke was out, he nodded at Silas to come in.

"I know you guys came after Silas," he said to Gabe and Zandyer, "so you have to wait a bit longer." All good, yeah?

You know, maybe he could just leave and Professor Culloden would never even know-- Oh. Welp. There goes that idea. Now that he'd been caught here... It'd be very rude. So uh. He'd just stick around then, yeah? Yeah. Okay. Maybe waiting wasn't so bad. It'd mean that Culloden would have to talk to a bunch of people so he'd soften up by the time Zander got in and everything would go all smoothly. No need to worry. Pft. The Potions master wasn't that intimidating ok he was.

Cinna was going around with her next batch for cinnamon rolls. This round was going out to the professors. Cinnamon rolls for help with her OWLs? Yes. Which was why she pack three in this box instead of two. Like she did with the other professors. Potions OWL. Oh yeah, she was going to need a lot of help. Or cinnamon rolls for this.

She held the little Chinese food take out box in her hand. Heading down to professor Culloden's office. She knocked on the door and waited for a answer. The smell of the cinnamon rolls hit her nose. Yummy. She have grabbed her one to eat on the way.

Once Silas was out too, Cosgrach appeared at the door once again. Ah, good, only two people were left. He wondered why Zander wanted to visit him, but that had to be for later - now, it was Gabriel's turn.

"Gabriel," he called with a smile, and stepped aside for the boy to enter.



And once Gabriel was out, Cosgrach appeared at the door again to call good ole Zandy.

"Mr. Adair," he said, and couldn't help but smirk. He wasn't a bully at all, not anymore, but Zander... the boy was too goofy to keep a straight face. He gestured inside, and moved aside to let him pass.


Cosgrach had overslept that day, and therefore missed the breakfast. He probably had the flu as evidenced in his running nose and sorethroat, but he had felt too lazy to brew a potion until he sneezed strongly enough to hurt his ribs. So, it was fortunate (or unfortunate) of Cinna to visit him right after he'd changed into his robes, but because Cosgrach was double-grumpy when sick, she wouldn't be very welcomed, until she mentioned the cinnamon.

So, with a deep frown, he made his way to his door and yanked it open. He was too grumpy to speak, so he just moved his head a little to ask 'What do you want?'

The Professor had said that he could come to his office for his questions right? So that was exactly why Kevin was here right now a few days after class on a weekend. Yes, it was that important for him to pay a visit on the weekend. He walked to the door and knocked on it a few times before turning around to sit on one of the black armchairs. As he waited, because he knew that the Professor wasn't someone to lock himself up in the office, he pointed his phoenix wand at another armchair and levitated it in the air. Practising, you know?

A.

Knock.

At.

The.

Weekend.

Weekend. Cosgrach was VERY inclined to ignore it, y'know, as he was leisurely enjoying a novel. Actually, y'know what? He was going to do that. Ignore the rude student. Feign absence. Yeah.

What if it's a profes - Shut up, conscience, and read.

Either he hadn't heard the knock or he wasn't inside the office. He sighed loudly and dropped the arm chair back on the ground and stood up. Maybe the Professor wasn't there? It couldn't hurt to knock again right? Only this time, he wouldn't just knock. Maybe he could...force the door open with a spell? Kevin looked around the room and also checked the area to see if anyone was near and with a grin he pointed it at the door.

"Depulso!" White light shot towards the door, hit it , and bounced back. The fourth year didn't even have time to react and he was flying across the room, knocked over an arm chair, landed on the ground and groaned in pain. That was NOT how he had thought it would go.

The first person Lux was going to see for her Arithmancy assignment was Professor Culloden. She knew that he would be willing because he was so nice and liked to help students out.

Reaching his office, she knocked on his door, hoping that there would be an answer because she didn't have a lot of time to complete the activity in. Eeep. Impatient Lux was impatient but for a good reason.

No... just NO!

Cosgrach froze. For once, he was grateful for the protective charms he'd placed; because this was CLEARLY an attack! After a second later, he drew his wand, walked to the door and stood by it.

"WHO IS IT THERE!?" WHO was trying to kill him!?


Cosgrach walked over the door as was his custom, and opened it.

"Lux, hello!" What a surprise! He stepped aside. "Come in, please."

Pushing the chair off of him and crawling up, it was then that he heard a voice coming from within the office. So he WAS inside! HE JUST TOTALLY IGNORED HIS KNOCK! Feeling even more annoyed than he already was, Kevin stood on his feet again and walked to the door. "The big bad wolf!" he said with a roll of his eyes, his already deep voice should have been a give away though. "WHO do you THINK?!" seriously though, he HAD said that he could come over and never mentioned when not so he wasn't doing anything wrong.

'the big bad wolf' - oh, Merlin, not again, wasn't that stupid book locked up - ah, no no, it was Kevin.

But was he, really?

How would Cosgrach know for SURE, hmm? After all, this 'Kevin' had just attacked his door, and - well, normal Kevin would do it too, but... now that Cosgrach was going to be a father, he was taking no chances.

"Prove it!" he yelled back, and put a shielding charm around himself just in case. In case this Kevin was some horrible monster sent to kill him.

Kevin blinked at the door after he heard the Professor’s words coming from inside of the office. Was he for real? What kind of game was he playing? He just wanted some advice regarding potions! And did he REALLY want him to prove that he was…himself? WHAT?

“HOW am I even supposed to prove that I’m me?!” he yelled back and banged on the door. “Just open this stupid door and you can see for yourself!” come on man! Open up! “or are you scaaaared?” he laughed out loud.

Might as well add some mysterious fear in to it now that he was on a roll , heh.

It had been forever since Toby got the letter from Culloden after the whole Un-Felix Un-Felicis thing. In fact, he'd got the MESOP recommendation in his fifth year, and now he was in his sixth. But he'd still not redeemed the brewing opportunity with Culloden; last year the OWL pressure was too much to consider doing anything else, and this year had been full of other distractions which were fun fun fun (except for the fact that they had not been fun at all in the slightest).

BUT HE WAS HERE NOW. With the almost-year-old letter folded away in his pocket, ready to be presented in case the Potions Master had forgotten, Toby approached the door and knocked on it, before going ahead and flopping into one of those comfy armchairs. He figured he was more likely to see the professor approaching from the corridor rather than inside the office, so he tried to get comfortable, though fidgeting was absolutely a thing that was happening. Hopefully this was still an opportunity he was allowed to take.

Y'know, this WAS Kevin, no doubt, if Cosgrach knew the boy. Yep, that comment about being 'scared' was only something a real Kevin would say.

"Ten points off Gryffindor for attacking my door!" he yelled as soon as he opened the door, "and you're lucky you didn't break it, or else, you'd be spelling 'detention' now." This wouldn't teach him anything, the man knew, but he'd at least hopefully feel a little bad.

"You okay?" He heard that fall, he did.


Cosgrach was surprisingly in his office trying to figure out how much ingredient he had left in the store, so when someone knocked on his door, he was startled. Who - oh, just the door. Yeah. Okay. He stretched, closed his notebook, took off his glasses and waved his want at the door to open it.

"Come in." And save him from this boring work, please.
