Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.
OCC Rules: No RPing for the shopkeeper and all other School RPG Rules apply.

Eden was just SOOO delighted. SO DELIGHTED. She did let go of him, and pull away, but she was smiling just SO SO SO much. She would have to send her MAM a letter...and IWIN...and EMMALEE and EVERYONE ELSE--and she' could tell CLARA and COLE and PHE and CUTHBERT and ugh! They'd all be so proud of her...
And for once, Eden felt like she was...worth something? She had done this all on her own. She had worked hard, applied for this, owled the guy ALL ON HER OWN. She'd done all of the work in getting that license for Drago--and she'd studied for here OWLs...HARD. She just felt...so accomplished. And super adult. And PROUD. She was PROUD.
"Thank you, sir! Thank you so much!" she said excitedly. "Thank you for coming all this way to meet with me and--I promise I will NOT disappoint you this summer--"
Tiberius nodded, unable to help smiling. My pleasure, Eden, it was good to talk with you." This was certainly one thing he hadn't considered when he decided to bring interns to the Sanctuary. Their energy. Hopefully it could be channelled into their work.
"Well, I have some other interviews for the other spots," he said, standing and offering his hand. "We'll be in touch about details and we'll see you at the Sanctuary over your break for a tour."

She sat down in an empty booth and waited, flipping through one of her grandfather's battered old Healing Potions book, in Russian of course.

NEWT was already in front of her face and she thought that enough with the studying for now. But from zero till a hundred percent, maybe the readiness of Bianca Rush facing the NEWTs was about... 75%. She really wanted NEWTs would be over as soon as possible

Oh, she hadn't ordered yet? The brunette girl then saw the menu. If not because of her limited galleons, she would order everything. "Just... the butterbeer, hot. And uh...... brownies." She handed three galleons to her. "Here, let me treat ya." Because she was a guardian angel that escaped her from the NEWTs hectic!

"Bianca, you're not ruined. The NEWTS are supposed to be this nasty. They're not called nastily exhausting wizarding test for giggles, you know," she said, hoping to be of SOME wisdom. Zhenya looked at Bianca's face. She may have been able to see one tiny itty bitty zit, but there weren't circles under her eyes. Zhenya bit her tongue though, because she was sure Bianca had done a world class job at covering them up with all the gloop she carried around, bless her socks. "And... you know, just... Bianca stop worrying about anything that's not related to the exams. If you've gained weight, deal with it after. If you have acne, I can try and brew you a simple remedy to apply every night before sleep. If you have dark circles around your eyes, maybe try and give yourself a few nights off to sleep more, and... honestly Bianca you look great." Well, she did look tired, but tired didn't necessarily mean bad. She shrugged. "And if you find there's other problems along the way, just write them down and forget about them. Tell yourself, 'Okay Bianca, this is my non-related problem to the exams, I'll write it down and worry about it after the exams' because when you've finished the exams you can then look at the list and worry about the problems on it. If they're still problems by then."
Now it was Zhenya's turn to take a deep breath. Where did THAT come? That's something Zhenya would have always kept bottled inside, rather than ramble. Anyway... "Put your money away Bianca..." she stopped... actually, Zhenya didn't know Bianca's last name. "Funny, I don't think I ever knew your surname. Anyway, put your money away, I'M buying!" And with that, the little Russian turned on her heel and walked towards the counter to be served.

Damn it, she was right. But it didn't mean that she wasn't worried about the exam-related problems. She was, very much. "I knooooooooow. I am not supposed to worry about the non-exam related problems but I just.. I cannot stop worrying about that." Maybe she had sort of a mental breakdown phase that made worried about everything. "Do you think I'm not worried about my exams? I am, very much." She also had pressure from her family. Well, not really explicit. She had a twin who was sooooooo smart that he belonged to Ravenclaw and a cousin/big brother who was a former Head Boy.
"And thank you for... the suggestion, the treat, for this..." Bianca gave her a small smile. "You're such a good friend." She took her galleons back and put them on her purse. A study buddy? No. "I cannot study with a friend, because it would ended up with talking or... any other activities that doesn't related with study." Bianca chuckled. She's more focused on studying when she was alone. "You don't need to be bothered, Zhenya. Seriously. I'm more focused on study when I'm alone." She often locked herself at the dorm and sometimes practicing some spells at the room of requirement.
As in Gary Rush. Bingo. "Yup, he's my cousin but he's been living with my family since he was little. So I consider him as my big brother that I've never had... Oops, I have Bryan but he is my twin." The brunette girl chuckled. "He was the head boy, I'm pretty sure that you knew his name from the trophy at the common room. Gosh, I hated when people know we are related." Sigh. "Well, I like him, but I hate being compared with him, and also Bryan. Ugh." Bianca rolled her eyes. Just because she was the only girl, it didn't mean that she was less than them.

Zhenya just nodded. She completely understood. In fact, now that she had said it, Zhenya realised Bianca probably did need to study solo. She was a bit of a chatterbox, but Zhenya liked that about her friend. "Well no problem. I could always write you a test. Let me know if you want me to." That could be easy enough... surely? "But if you ever feel totally burnt out, my ears are open." Maybe that's the best help she could be?
Zhenya thought that perhaps she had just seen his name somewhere... she shrugged. "Well my cousin Sofia is like my big sister. I can tell her anything and I know she won't laugh at me. Sometimes my brother does, but he's just... a boy. I don't like talking to him about boy troubles." She did sometimes, but not often.
"Are you doing anything to celebrate after you finish exams?" she asked.

Why she was soooooooooooooo kind? This girl had been in a wrong house. Nope, she didn't mean that people in Slytherin were evil but sometimes they were selfish didn't give a damn about any other people. "Nah, you don't need to. Kitridge helped a lot by giving me some copies of old NEWTs and I studied much from those stuffs. What I want now that this crazy little NEWT things happened and over as soon as possible. I cannot handle myself being crazy like this. Seriously." She took a bite of her brownie. Mmm.. this thing was good!
Zhenya had a cousin/big sister? "Jeez, I envy you. I don't have a big sister or a girl-cousin. My family wasn't that big. My father only has a died big brother and my mom is an only child. I wish I had a sister." Wasn't it cute? They could talk about boys, go shopping, do make over, and any other girl activity. "Well, my brothers and I are planning to travel. We're going to Maldives." She beamed. "Gary said that Maldives is amazing. He had been there before, he works for muggle photo-traveling magazine."

Bleu wasn't saying anything. And the look on her face was just puzzling Dylan. She was clearly mulling it all over, but he couldn't tell if she was happy or upset. Had he freaked her out? Oh Merlin, he hoped not. As he awaited her to say something, he took a nervous sip of his butterbeer and drew a slightly shaky hand across his upper lip to get rid of the foam that had been left there. That's when she said it, and the fifth year nearly dropped his cup when she said it.
She loved him too. Had she really said it? Dylan's eyes moved from his butterbeer up to meet Bleu's, and he smiled when he saw her blushing. "Really?" He finally squeaked after a moment of silence.

Bleu bit her lip, grinning and blushing, and looked down at her hands. "Yes." It was all she could muster to say at the moment. She wanted to stand up and walk over to him and snog him in the middle of the bar but she knew it would be inappropriate in such a public place.
Then she was suddenly very self-conscious. He did say it in a jokingly manner. Had she misinterpreted what he had said? She took a quick breath, "Un-unless of c-course....you were kidding then...," she couldn't deny it now though. She knew she loved him. She couldn't take it back. She didn't want to. She couldn't look at him, her face fell a little and flushed even more red, if it was at all possible. What if he didn't mean it?

Then when he said he would never joke about this, she took a deep breath and sighed with relief. She giggle a little at the little tomato bit. "Well someone had to do the blushing tonight. Usually it's you so I figured it was my turn." She grinned and winked at him.
Then she remembered what he had said before...She stood up, and slid her chair closer to his. She felt like she was too far away from him. She needed to be closer. She gently touched the back of his hands with her fingertips. "Are you sure this makes you happy? I don't want you to feel pressured or feel like you have to say it because I feel it...or whatever...," she looked down at their hands. "I don't want you to feel obligated...,"to love me. She finished the thought in her mind.

Zhenya took a few more sips of her butterbeer, licking the froth from her lip afterwards, and eating some of her own brownie. "Well, I hope it helps. I'm sure it will! And just think, when they are over you'll be so relieved!" She said. She, too, was totally relieved last year after her OWL's.
"Oh, I only got in touch with her a few years ago when I stayed with her after coming back from Russia," she explained. She listened as Bianca explained her family, and what they planned to do after finishing Hogwarts. "Maldives, wow that sounds great," she said, happy her friend was doing something. Photo travelling magazine? "Hmm so no career in the wizarding community? Just like my mother. She's pure-blood and she teaches in a muggle primary school."

"Well, that's good that he has found his passion in life." Zhenya looked up, then looked into her mug. A little bit remained, so she quickly drank it down, then nodded, "Of course!"

Suddenly, she was scooting her chair beside him. He turned to face her as she placed a hand on his back. Swallowing, he turned his gaze to her eyes and listened. He then smiled, shaking his head. "Bleu, I said it because I meant it. I promise it makes me very happy." He said.
It was a bit of a way to travel for a meeting, but when Sabel had got the owl request he had been more than happy to oblige. It allowed him to get out of the city and away from eyes he felt were constantly watching him. The itchy sensation at the back of his neck was less out here, and instead fond memories followed him about the streets until he found the Three Broomsticks.
When he pushed the door open to the establishment, he almost expected to walk in on himself and his friends all those years ago, seated around their favorite table near the window. Instead, there was a grizzly man with a beard that nearly dipped into his drink. Still, Sabel smiled. The memories, and the echoes of laughter were welcome.
Closing the door behind himself, Sabel moved into the room, searching the tables. Was the explorer extrodinarie already here, or had he found some amusing alleyway to poke his nose down first?

At first, Sabel had thought the woman's voice was directed at someone else. A partner she had walked in with, another person somewhere out of the line of his sight. That was until Sander's name came up.
In an instant his guard was up, his wand tip at his fingertips. Old habits were hard to kill, no matter if they were in the comforts of memory lane or down Knocturn Alley. The woman, he didn't recognize and her choice of words, let alone tables had him suspicious. Had Peverell got to Sander? Was this one of the mad-man's lackeys? Or had the Daily Prophet gone and done it again?
It occurred to him, as the cool calm of instinct took over, that it didn't matter. He would find out soon enough.
Taking quick stock of who was in the room with them, and finding that eyes and attention barely acknowledged either of them, Sabel followed the woman to the table and took up a seat across from her. Now, being so close, he could see her properly and something else clicked. "You're a relative."
