Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.

Thats when he saw her, she was waving at him.. running over towards her he didn't even notice if she was with anyone.. he scooped her up in a huge hug and twirled her around before putting her back down. "hey babes!!! hows school??" he asked her as he looked out the window and saw Hogwarts, wishing he could spend the rest of his life there.

Giggling Lux gave Bay a big hug as he twirled her around. She was so happy now that she was with him because he always made her feel so much better. "Hiiiii!!!" Happily she kissed his cheek. If only she could take him back to Hogwarts with her.
And ooh, she had things to tell him!! "Oh, it's crazy! The Weasley Swamp flooded the first floor and I went into the Chamber of Secrets!" She wished he could experience it all with her.

Dylan's first date. He smiled goofily to himself as he entered the Three Broomsticks and found an empty table. It was odd. He didn't think he'd be on his first date until...well... after Hogwarts!
The fifth year gave a nervous glance towards the door, wondering when Bleu would arrive. Looking from the door to his watch, he saw that he had come a bit early. Ah, well. Better than coming late, right? Plus, it gave him a bit of time to relax. The poor Badger's heart had been racing like crazy since he had woken up this morning. He took a deep breath in and slowly let it out, looking at the door again. Did he look okay? Did he smell okay? Ah, he needed to calm down. He put on cologne before he got here, and made sure to do an extra spray. As for looks... he sighed, running a hand nervously through his hair, hoping it looked okay.

Conveying that she was welcome, Zeke returned her smile with a grin. It was just a butterbeer, and he had some money to spend now, with his pocket money bonus for getting good results so far. This whole study thing was kinda paying off. Hady was too right though, with the whole falling behind thing. It really was too easy to lose sight of what was going on, and catching up was NOT fun. If anything he was having trouble keeping up with History of Magic, and doing the reading let alone the writing was just... well... a chore he wasn't motivated to complete. "No kidding," he empathised, "are you finding it a lot harder than last year? Because I am." First year had been SO EASY in comparison, and he'd barely known magic at the time.
But all the icky stuff aside, Zeke could appreciate the holidays. Raising his mug to his lips, he drank deeply from his butterbeer, enjoying the frothy foaminess on top. Her holiday sounded a lot like his from what he could gather, but he was quickly distracted from the thought. She had something for him???

There was a small bag, and inside it... ... CANDY!
Zeke's curious smile turned into an outright grin. Epic. "Thanks, that's so awesome." Legit. AWESOME. He'd study SO much better know, he was sure of it.

He didn't have anything for her. CRAAAAAAP! ... Bugger. Shoot.
"I've got something for you too... but it's back at the common room... I didn't bring my bag today." Though he was saying this mostly out of guilt at being empty handed, he DID save her some candy canes too, so he wasn't LYING or anything. Not really. He was just a boy and forgot things, mmhhmm.
But as for his holiday, it was awesome. "Spent it in London, mostly packing my room but it wasn't so bad. Had my sister home from Beauxbaton as well."

Good. She wasn't the only one having a bit of trouble with keeping up. Was he losing sleep as well? She sure as heck was...a lot of it. "Yeah, it's not really really bad yet but I reckon it's just going to get more difficult each year..." This was followed by a small sigh and a wishful thought of 'please don't let it go to hard' as she lifted her butterbeer to her lips for another taste. Pure perfection right there!
Spotting Zeke's huge grin, which she couldn't have missed if she tried, she smiled brightly. "No problem, I said I'd give you all the red ones." Hady laughed softly. She had said that back in the beginning of the year and she had remembered and would keep remembering.
Awe that was nice of him. He didn't have to get her anything in return, it didn't matter to her. Shaking her head she grinned at him. "Don't worry about it, you can give it to me whenever you remember. I only happened to have it cause I got myself used to carrying around my bag." This had been try. She usually always had her bag with her now for various reasons.
Packing his room? Was he going somewhere? Hady didn't ask about it but rather commented on his sister. "Oh I bet you were happy having her home huh? Do you mess her any less now that you saw her for a little while?"
So Bart was super late, he knew he was and he knew Cinna could either be alright with it or mad. Hopefully she wasn't mad. As he made his way into the Broomsticks and looked around, he spotted her and headed to the table. "Hey" Taking a seat he pulled out the candy. See he bought her something, so she should totally not be mad, okay? "Sorry, I know I'm late, but there was this stranger. Had to make sure he wasn't a kidnapper and going to snatch up Jamie. We don't need to find another photographer for yearbook this year." Lame excuse was lame, but hey it was all he had.
"I bought you somethings." He set the assortment of candy on the table. All her favorites of course. "Have you been waiting long?" Hopefully she was running late or something herself, but he was overly late, so she'd probably been sitting for longer then a girl should be.
"Want me to order us food?" Maybe she had already done this, but since there wasn't any on the table he was hoping she hadn't. He'd been a good boyfriend and go up and pay and everything. So yes no being mad. Grinning towards her he checked her out. "You look hot." She was always hot though.
Cinna sat there and waited. She hadn't been paying that much attention to the door. Instead she had her chin resting on her hand on her propped up elbow. Twirling her hair. She was bored, just sitting there. Not that minded. But she was getting hungry. She just happened to look up when he walked in. Her brown eyes followed him to the table, she smiled when got to the table. "Hey." CANDY. No jelly slugs. They were awful. Yeah, the candy totally made waiting worth it. Not that she minded waiting. "Kidnapper?" What even? She didn't want to know.
More candy. He could totally be late all the time if he was going to bring her candy when he was. Okay not really, he could just bring her something all the time and she would be happy. "I see. My favorites. No not long." But long enough to start getting bored. She wasn't going to admit that it took her twice as long as it normally did to get ready today.

She hadn’t been waiting that long, good, he would have felt bad, at least a little bit, that he had made her wait. Though he didn’t so it was all good. “Yep all your favorites. Didn’t want you mad at me.” That would have been awful. They just got back together no need to fight already. Though it would come sooner or later he assumed.
A butterbeer and surprise her. This could be dangerous and she should know better. He looked up at the menu and went to get food. After some time he came back with two fish and chips, macaroni and cheese, some glazed carrots, and two brownies, plus the butterbeers. “You can pick whatever you want.” He figured they could share the carrots and mac and cheese. Shoving food in his mouth for a moment and swallowing he looked over to Cinna, “Anything else you want to do while we are here?” He didn’t know if there was a shop she wanted to g
Puck was sitting alone in one of the booths and prodding her potion with her finger. She wanted to know if it worked you know? Telling people to do harmless things that you know…aren’t shocking and totally something that would possibly ruin their life? Not like anyone would do that right? She took a sip of her butterbeer and sighed.
Maybe she’d find someone to do her potions homework with here? She wondered and glanced around.

Bleu quietly pushed the door of The Three Broomsticks open. She couldn't believe she was on her first date. She never thought she would ever have one....ever. She was so excited and nervous.
She looked around the room, as her auburn fell across her shoulder. Dylan had to be here already....or was she too early? She looked at her watch and noticed that she was right on time. She knew he had to be here. Out of the corner of her eye she saw him. She grinned hugely; he looked nervous. He looked just as nervous as she felt. She slowly turned and walked toward him. She couldn't believe she was actually going on a date with her boyfriend. BOYFRIEND! She never, ever, ever thought this would happen. She took a deep breath as she reached the table, "Hi." It was all she could muster at the moment. She was too excited and nervous to say more at the moment.

She watched as he looked at the menu and headed up to the counter. While she waited for him to come back she ate a peppermint toad. Once he got back she pulled a plate of the fish and chips up to her and started to eat. "Nope. I think you covered it. You already got the candy for me? Is there somewhere else you want to go?" She looked up when she asked him.

Noticing Bleu walk in and grin at him, Dylan grinned in return, mainly out of excitement at the sight of her. She always looked so lovely. He shifted where he sat, preparing himself. He had to show her he wasn't nervous this time, he had to man up.
"Hey," He responded with a laugh at her simple 'hi'. "You look nice." He added after an awkward moment of silence had passed. She was probably feeling as nervous as he was. He felt relief sweep over him at this; he was glad he wasn't the only one! "So, you wanna get Butterbeer?" Because who didn't like Butterbeer?

She looked around at the different candy. Yeah this was making up for it. Who knew there maybe a day where she was late. So there was that. She looked at him and beamed. "Thanks. This is great." She learned in and gave him a quick kiss. "I'm not mad." She smiled. Not really.
She watched as he looked at the menu and headed up to the counter. While she waited for him to come back she ate a peppermint toad. Once he got back she pulled a plate of the fish and chips up to her and started to eat. "Nope. I think you covered it. You already got the candy for me? Is there somewhere else you want to go?" She looked up when she asked him.
He started eating once he sat back down. Did Cinna like what he picked out? He hoped she did. Though he wasn't really paying attention, he was busy eating his own food. Taking a big gulp of butterbeer he finally looked up, "Good?" He was liking it, so she probably was too.
Trying to think of what else they could do he grinned, "What about the shrieking shack? We could go and sneak over there." It was closed off to students, wasn't it? Maybe they could go have some adventures and sneak off and break into the shack.
"We could always just walk around too." He didn't care either way. He would do whatever she wanted.

"Think the Willow still has that passage, might be a way to get back into the school without getting caught. " Once they were in the shack it might be easier to go that way to get out instead of being seen sneaking back out.
"Did I tell you I got a cat now?" He had taken the cat a few days ago, but he wasn't sure he had told Cinna about him yet. "Used him to try a potion out and then decided just to keep him. Figured Morgan wouldn't miss him." She had plenty of stray cats wondering around from that lesson, though he hadn't seen any in awhile, she probably sent them back.

Leo was perusing the menu for something to do as he waited for his friends to arrive. He had reached the dessert section when he felt gentle pat on the shoulder. How was he? "Exceptionally well, actually." Nodding about their means to leave the castle, "Indeed.. between my usual walks with Lala and classes the time spent outdoors has been getting on the low side."Though perhaps not as much as for Leo. All that time around the indoors with the books... Hm. A balance was needed.
Ah, and they didn't even have to wait long for their fellow Potioneer. "Good to see you Cossy, I'm doing quite well." Since he asked. "Anything new lately?"

She grinned and took another sip from her mug. "How are you? Feels like weeks since I saw you last." She reached over and gently rubbed the back of his hand with her fingers.

She half way made an eye roll at him but it ended in a grin. How could he say that tight after she stuffed a entire brownie in her mouth? Eh. That thought was a little too girly for her. She did like his complements.

Sneak in and not have to sneak back out. Because sneaking in was a lot easier than sneaking out. "So are you ready to go on our walk?"
She looked up at him. "You got a cat?" Amused by this thought she laughed. Bart with a cat? Yeah that just seem weird to her but if that's what he wanted then cool. "Wait, you used a potion on a cat?" She eyed him for a moment. Way to be to a pet. He wasn't going to keep it just as a test dummy, was he? He better not.

Bleu giggled covering her face with one hand. He had a very adorable foam-stache going on and with the thoughtful look on his face, it was too funny for words. She sighed, grinning, "You have some foam..," she pointed above her lip to indicate where the foam was. He was too cute.
She gave him a small smile, it had been a slightly stressful year, with the OWL's coming up and all. She hated that they didn't have much time together. When he said he missed her, she blushed a little and bit her lip. "I've missed you too." Her tummy fluttered when he wrapped his hand around hers. She loved the way his hand felt, gentle but rough and a little calloused, which came with practicing guitar. "I've been alright. Just really wish we could spend more time together even if it is studying." She truly missed being around him. He was so much fun and she loved learning new things about him.

He eyed the last of the mac and cheese, if she wasn't going to eat it he would. Feeling a bit full he finished the carrots, because no reason to let them go to waste, but decided he wouldn't eat the brownie. He could save it for later. Hearing her say she would go jogging with him he smiled, "I like jogging with you." He liked doing many things with her. He actually felt like he had been in a better place since getting back with her.
Awesome they had a plan, that wasn't often, but for this they needed one. "Once we get back over there, we can check out around it and see the best way to slip in. Have to make sure no one else is around." Didn't need any squealers coming after them. "Maybe we can hangout once in there a bit." He smirked towards her. It could be fun and if she was freaked out and needed to have his arm around her the entire time, well he could be the boyfriend for the job.
Here it comes, he knew better then to tell a chick what he actually waned the cat for. "Yeah I gave him a potion, it was the reason I took him in the first place. He's a mean one though. Scratched me a few times and has tried to scratch a few of the other guys. That's when I knew he was a keeper." He really wasn't that much of a cat person, but this one was different. He'd keep this one around for awhile, at least until he got bored of it.
